What is Stripe?

Stripe is a technology company that offers payment processing software to allow individuals and businesses to accept credit or debit card payments online. Essentially, Stripe allows you to get payments directly, safely and securely, over the internet.

You can connect quickly and easily to Stripe via your Rentalsystems account (from your Payments page). Once you are connected, any bookings that come via Clickstay or Rentalsystems will utilise the Stripe payment system. Renters will pay directly into your Stripe account, and this money will be available for you to withdraw from there within a matter of days.

Stripe charges small fees (typically 1.4% + 20p to 2.9% + 20p per transaction) for use of its system, which are deducted automatically from payments you receive.
