Overview
The Muntham Apartments are situated in the leafy Wellswood area of Torquay which is just a short five minute drive from Torquay harbour. Wellswood is therefore superbly placed to access all that the English Riviera has to offer. At its heart is Ilsham Road which is often referred to as Wellswood Village. This is becuase there is a dazzling array of independent businesses including Kent's Pub, two bistros, a delicatessen, a patisserie, hair and beauty salons, a florist, bridal ware shop, estate agents and much more besides. Just a short stroll from these is Kent's Cavern which is one of The English Riviera's main visitor attractions.
The Muntham Apartments themselves are a five minute walk from Ilsham Road and have been formed out of a stunning Victorian villa. With modern amenities demanded by guests, the apartments also manage to retain much of the property's original charm with stunning plaster work and a grand stair case.
Apartment three is on the ground floor of the building and has a large sitting room which features a dining area as well as sofas and chairs to relax in. There is also a recently refitted kitchen and bathroom plus a wonderfully tranquil bedroom that overlooks the gardens at the side of the property.

This is one place we keep coming back to. It’s like a home from home for us even though in style it complete different from ours. That’s what makes it work !
We loved our stay here. Big and spacious apartment, beautifully decorated. Hosts were really lovely from first contact and in person. If we could give a millions stars we would. Literally cannot wait to stay here again. Thank you for having us.

We supervise the cleaning of each property and we are available 24/7 should you need to get hold of us during your stay. Torquay is a beautiful place to visit, with a wonderful coast line and beaches and warm temperatures all year round makes it a perfect seaside vacation.
