Lovely holiday again (2nd time here). All the facilities you could need for a comfortable stay. We were there for 7 nights and had a lovely peaceful break (the great shower and the utility room especially good to have!).
Saundersfoot is beautiful and views down the hill to the bay from the apartment are gorgeous. Its a great base for exploring. The secure terrace is a godsend if you have a dog!
We discovered Amroth this time (my new favourite place!).

Loved the apartment .. good base for touring .. Saundersfoot has changed since we were last here in 2010 .. but still love it. 1.What did you think of the cottage ? Advertised as bedding provided but not true, we were asked after the deposit was paid ‘because of COVID’ to take all our own bedding. No toilet paper at all upon arrival. Owner lives in adjoining house but did not even acknowledge us upon arrival. Owner’s Comment. Please note that this was in the circumstances where restrictions were changing day by day with the Welsh Government and in having to react to these by law - we could not provide either the direct contact or some facilities as we would normally do. 1.What did you think of the cottage ? First of all, our names. We are Allan and Kate, both retired and running the apartment ourselves in the main but with the help of a very reliable cleaner Leslie and her daughter Sarah, who covers for her when she is unable to do it. When we are away Leslie or Sarah or perhaps my two sons Steve and Simon will always help with any queries. I come originally from Birkenhead and Kate although born in Thornton Heath near London mainly grew up in a little village in Carmarthenshire called Llanpumpsaint. I've been here at Mount Pleasant since 1988 when my late wife and I bought it and substantially updated it from a cottage originally built in 1899. My wife was a born and bred local Pembrokeshire girl who I met in Birkenhead and I soon fell in love with her home county so that when it was possible we made the move here. Kate, my partner, joined me here some years ago. So we know the area very well from the various other towns, villages, woods, beaches and them parks to the local footpaths and dog walking areas. We are always glad to give advice. We really like the position of Mount Pleasant as its out of the hustle and bustle of the village centre yet easy to get to it when you want to. So parking is easy here, its quieter and there is much more room than other properties in or nearer the village centre. We are usually much cheaper too!
