My name is Caroline and I’ve been running Bryn Ffynnon holiday cottage since 2015. My family hails from North Wales and I have fond memories of happy holidays playing on the beaches and in the rivers of North Wales. The castles too I remember as great fun. North Wales has come on a lot since then. Along with the natural attractions which are as good as they ever were, there are now a huge number of exciting outdoor attractions including high speed zip wires and lots of opportunities to go underground to explore old mine workings or to spend an afternoon trampolining in an old slate cavern. There are many places to eat and drink and Llanrwst has its own famous tea shop in Tu Hwnt I’r Bont, the iconic creeper covered house by the bridge that features in photographs all over the world. Bryn Ffynnon is ideally placed to explore all the wealth of North Wales and if the city really calls, then Chester makes a lovely day trip.
