No 8 Estuary View is the ground floor 2 bedroom flat of a beautiful, listed period building in a great location for the town centre minutes away from all the action, restaurants, maritime museum, bars and beaches.
The property has been refurbished to a very high standard, contemporary and yet cosy with fastidious attention to detail.

THE LOCAL AREA
Falmouth’s natural harbour is the third deepest in the world and provides a picturesque background to the resort, a focal point for many water sports and the National Maritime Museum. Many of the harbour side shops, cafes and restaurants have unsurpassed views across the water to Flushing , Falmouth Bay and beyond. Falmouth’s main street has a charming mix of shops for gifts, clothes and antiques just head down the road and swing a right into town.

This together with the wonderful location on the Marina side means its just a perfect place to sit and enjoy all Harveys has to offer.

BEACHES
GYLLYNGVASE Cliff Road, This is the main town beach and a beautiful, long sandy stretch. Calm waters most of the time, excellent facilities for kids and a very cool café.
CASTLE BEACH also on Cliff Road, this smaller beach is not as busy, has excellent rock pools and a good but basic café.
Walking or driving along the coast (beautiful walk) from the above beaches will lead you to SWANPOOL and MAENPORTH beaches. These are both lovely sandy with cafes and stunning views over to the headlands. Swanpool also has a nature reserve with a lake for boats and swans.
BEACH BARS
Gylly Beach - 5 mins away, on Gyllngvase Beach, locally sourced food in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, over looked by Pendennis castle with fantastic views of the lizard peninsula.
Blue Bar - Porthtowan
Seasonal, local & freshly prepared food served daily from 10 am Live Bands at weekends. Huge Outside terraces with epic sunsets. "The original beach bar-brasserie..."
Sandbar - Praa sands
One of our regular haunts, right on the beach, cant beat a sunday carvery, followed by a walk on the beach.
Watering Hole - Perranporth
Right in the middle of Perranporth beach, great food, sunday carvery.

Maxine's property is a real gem!
The location is brilliant with an easy walk into the heart of Falmouth and the view is fantastic. The parking spot is also very handy.
The flat is spacious with plenty of rool for my family. We loved our stay and hope to return in the future!

Had a fantastic 2 weeks here, property was spotlessly clean. Ideal location for exploring local area and beaches. Only thing to bear in mind is the steep hill into town, going in is fine coming back up can be a little more challenging for the less mobile, we opted to drive in/out as always plenty of parking available in town. Maxine responded to queries extremely quickly and effectively.
Highly recommended for families or a couple will definitely be booking again

Upon arrival the property looked lovely and was clearly clean and well cared for. Milk and a bottle wine left for us a much appreciated gesture. We did notice a bit of a damp smell in the kitchen/living room area. The washing machine spin cycle was quite low which meant the clothes came out very wet and were impossible to dry before they started smelling of stale water. The fridge had a broken shelf and a door that didn't seem to shut properly. The double bed and the sofa I imagine have been around for a while, both quite sunken in places. The property was really lovely but now needs a little bit of TLC.

This is a delightful property. We were four adults so two bathrooms was perfect. The apartment is lovely, fully functioning kitchen with everything you need. Parking space was an absolute bonus being so close to the centre of town. The views, I could never get bored of that view. Five minute walk into town, so many places to eat and drink and shop. We loved our stay and the owner was fantastic, allowing us to extend our stay for an extra day. We will definitely book again.
