Railway Cottages are within a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and the popular, well renown Ciccarelli Ice Cream Parlour. Locally there is a Co-op supermarket, fruit shop, sandwich shop, post office and general dealers along with local pubs for eating and drinking. Eating places in Blyth town centre are multiple and include Indian, Italian, Pizza & Pasta . The famous Harbour View Fish & Chip Shop at Seaton Sluice (Best in North East) is 5 minutes drive/25 minutes walk away.
Railway Cottages are located close to local amenities . There is a regular bus service into Newcastle which stops within a few metres of the property. Buses to other parts of the region are available from Blyth town Centre. Parking is available both on and off street.

Hi, I'm Anne. 4 years ago I bought Railway Cottage as a major 'refurb' project. The house has been completely renovated and rebuilt inside to create a lovely spacious residence. It's quite deceiving from the outside, but once inside you will appreciate just how much space there is to move around in. I've tried to capture as much of the original bits that remained, as I could. I really love this house and I hope you will too if you choose to stay. Blyth is a lovely place and although I don't live there now I could happily move back. My children and grandchildren live in Blyth so I'm frequently there. I'd love to welcome you to Railway Cottage Retreat soon.
