Villa Calis

My partner and I rented Villa Calis for one week at the beginning of May 2012. The Villa was delightful. Very well furnished, stocked, clean and well maintained. Having a private garden and pool was our priority and we found the local British and Turkish neighbours very friendly. The villa is just a few minutes’ walk from the beach although we preferred to walk into the main area of Calis where there is a wide range of shops and restaurants on the sea front. The weather in May is glorious, 27 to 30 degrees every day, not too sticky for the brits! The restaurant food was very good and great value. There is a nearby supermarket in the village of Ciflik where you can get anything you need including British brands, they even delivered us and the shopping back to the villa. Hi Suzie Just a little note to say a big thank you, our stay in your villa has been fantastic, we have had great fun in the pool, beach. Boat trip on Erman boat was wonderful a great day well worth the money. Great resturants in calis. Zenaibs crepes were wonderful kids lovely them. she is a lovely lady. The villa had everything we needed for a perfect week in the sun. The pool was a good size and very well kept along with the gardens. The villa was clean, spacious and the air conditioning in every room was very welcome, particularly at night. It is situated in a lovely area, just a short walk from the beach with very friendly local shops on hand for essentials and a taxi service and busses running right outside. We all had a really enjoyable week, just booked a couple of excursions (12 islands boat trip and Saklikent/Tloas which were good value, excellent days out and picked up / dro pped off right to the villa. We visited Fethiye and Hisonaru which offered a great value and choice of places to eat in the evenings. The sunsets were amazing! All in all a lovely holiday and villa, We wouldnt hesitate to book again in the future or recommend to others.Many thanks Suzie Christine Chard, August 2011

Hi Suzie, Now we are home from our holiday I felt it was appropriate to tell you that we had a marvellous time while staying at your lovely villa. The house is absolutely perfect and fitted with everything you need. The area is nice and peaceful and we spent many days just relaxing around the pool and garden. The kids are still talking about it and keep asking when we will be going back. I have not said to them yet, but next year is looking good. The twenty minute walk into Calis town was a nice stroll. We also spent some days at the beach near to the villa (a lot closer than we thought) which was great. It is quiet and the breeze was welcome. So, on a scale of 1 to 10, we have opted for 10 cause we couldnt fault anything. Once again thank you and YOU will hear from us next year Roddy, Ann and kids

You have a wonderful villa and it was especially nice not to have to worry about car hire. The airport transfers were also very good by the way, especially as we actually ended up changing flights on the way out and ending up on a completely different flight and time than expected due to a massive delay on our original flight! Hi Suzie, Yes, the holiday flew round we are all depressed now being back home. We had a absolutely lovely time, your villa was really lovely the pictures on the web site dont really do it justice as it is much bigger than it looks. At first when we arrived it was really cold and the next day it rained and was very stormy so we sat indoors and watched dvds and thought oh no hope its not going to be like this for 2 weeks. Soon after that the weather improved and we had a lovely time. The pool is superb with the sun round it all day long. We sampled Zainabs pancakes which were lovely like her. We found the location of the villa really handy with the two shops and the taxi rank so nearby. We thought the water coolant was an excellent idea and lasted until a couple of days before we left and we replaced it with one from Zainabs. All in all I would recommend your villa to anybody for a really relaxing holiday with very friendly people and we will definitely be back in the not so distant future. I cannot think of anything that you could improve on, and I must say your garden is absolutely lovely,pretty and well maintained. Best wishes, Kath & Charlie
