It also offers a private bathroom and a washing machine.
There's a good range of cooking facilities - gas rings, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, barbecue - and adequate equipment. The room has airconditioning' flat - screen TV with satellite channels. FREE wireless internet available.
The garden, pool and barbecue area are extensive enough for any number of people and the surrounding area has stunning views of mountains and crystal clear sea of Mediterranean. Villa Dundar is less than 10 minutes walk to the biggest beach of Kas. And 30 minutes walk to Kas town.
Help is at hand!
The owners live ground floor of the main building and will offer assistance if required. The room, of course, is completely self-contained and the owners use the garden and pool very little, so it's like having a private villa for the price of a suit double room.

wasnt made aware that the family who own this property live at the same location downstairs. although the family are very nice and helpful i had planned to rent a fully private villa. the swimming pool at the villa was also being used by other people who just turned up towards the end of our stay.
decided to hire the boat owned by this family, this was a very nice day out but the cost seemed to go up considerably when the day was finished. was told everything but alcohol was included but then charged for soft drinks. my advise would be to go for the day out but have the price in writting.
on a positive note, the views are amazing!!

we rented the whole villa for 2 weeks in order to accomodate 3 families: 6 adults and 8 teenagers. This worked very well as we had our own spaces but plenty of communal time too. The pool area is lovely and the views over the whole bay are incredible - a big plus. There are comfortable sunloungers and enough shade. A covered dining area provides a good spot for either lunch or supper alresco. The apartments are comfortable with AC which is a must in order to be able to sleep in the summer. Kitchens were adequately kitted out. There was always hot water for showers even with so many in the building. The ground floor apartment is the least appealing with no direct view and is rather dark and small it has no private outside space . The owners(up to 6 adults) live during the summer in an apartment at the front of the building which is very much part of the villa. They do use the pool, loungers and the BBQ area regularly which is fine unless you want total privacy. The advantages of havng the owners on hand is that Erdem will advise and also make introductions - we met a great dive company which we might not have otherwise done and were also looked after by one of the beach bars at Big Pebble Beach as they are friends of the owners. The location is great but during the very hot season a walk into town is unbearable however its a quick trip by car, there is a regular bus service and taxis cost 10 TL at any time of day or night. Its an easy stroll to Big Pebble beach for some lovely sea swimming. All our teenagers declar ed it the best ever holiday!

As we really value getting to know our guests and ensuring them thoroughly enjoy their holiday in our villa, here is a little about the Dundar family. I am Erdem, my brother Ergun (Captain Ergun), my father Tevfik and my mother Gonul. I am working as a skipper at my sailing yacht moored in Kas Marina. I do daily & overnight all inclusive sailing yacht charters in Kas/ Kekova coves. My brother is also doing daily & overnight gulet yacht charters in Kas harbour. From 1994, my family owned a different villa at the hills of Kas and that was where we started in the hospitality business. However we sold that villa and started from scratch to build Villa Dundar, with breath taking views of the unspoiled town, the crystal clear sea and Taurus Mountains in Big Pebble Beach area. We fell in love with the new position and knew it would be a sound investment. Since its three floor apartment, we live at the first floor and we rent second and top floors individually. As a family we are strong and happy because we work together, all contributing in different ways to smooth running of the business. My mum is retired and she is now fully commited to supporting the family. My father is being able to communicate in English, French and German, is a very warm, sociable and hard-working man. He never hesitates to provide service to others and I guarantee his sense of humour will entertain you. Me and my brother are able to communicate in English and you can ask us anything about Kas, Villa Dundar and boat trips in Kas region.
