We have just returned from a lovely two weeks in Villa Priene. From the moment we booked Tracey, the owner, was very considerate sending us details of places of interest and general information like the need for a visa. Nearer the time of our holiday she then offered to book car hire and get some shopping for us etc. During our stay she came each morning to clean the pool and outside area and completely cleaned the villa after our first week which was excellent. The villa itself is beautifully kept with amazing views over the surrounding hills and bay. It has beanbags, a hammock and even a swing which really adds an extra touch. The location is good with a large well stocked supermarket, bakery and a restaurant just a short walk away. There are also a few small towns nearby all with a harbour, beach and lots of restaurants and shops. Bodrum is also only about a 30 minute drive away.

Villa Priene was a lovely place to stay and certainly made our holiday an enjoyable one. It is perfect if you wish for a quiet, relaxing holiday with a touch of comfort and style. As a young group of friends we found the property very accommodating. It is the perfect accommodation for a small group of friends of any age or even young families. Tracey and Martin were both lovely and friendly and made such an effort to come by most days and keep the pool and outdoor area clean and tidy which I thought was really nice and they were very helpful in providing information about the local activities. The upstairs terrace is beautiful and the view is indescribable, pictures do not do it justice. It really is one of the best features of the house. The few neighbours that we did see were very friendly and said hello without fail everytime we passed their door. The property is slightly outside of the main towns but the surrounding areas are fairly easy to access. Hiring a car would be best but we managed to get by on the local buses and cabs. There is a great place called the terrace just five minutes away from the villa and the owner and his staff were very accommodating and extremely friendly. The food is great, presentation is beautiful and the views are amazing ! They also have wifi which they kindly allow you to use even if you are not eating there, however the food is great so you really should!! Overall our holiday was lovely and relaxed and the villa really was home from home. Small touches around the villa such as the candles and plantpots really make it a pleasure to stay in. Thankyou Tracey for being such a great host. I would recommend this villa to any one who is looking to relax in peaceful and comfortable surroundings ! Thanks for a lovely time.

An absolute gem of a place 5 of 5 A very clean, well furnished and comfortable villa that had everything I needed and comes with beautiful views over the Aegean sea. Villa Priene is tastefully decorated and maintained by Tracey who is extremely welcoming and willing to help where she can to ensure a very pleasant and enjoyable holiday. The roof terrace and pool area provides a spacious and amazing space for alfresco living and the new bar and BBQ just perfect for enjoying the warm Mediterranean evenings. The villa is situated in a quiet and private area of Gümüslük with a supermarket, local restaurant and beach all within walking distance and Bodrum easily accessible by public transport. There is also parking available for a car which is the ideal way to explore the surrounding area. Definitely worth the 5 star rating, definitely worthy of recommendation and definitely a place I would stay again. 100% satisfied. Review Submitted: 16-Feb-2018 Date of Stay: February 2018

Heaven on earth 5 of 5 This villa is out of this world. It's in a quiet place- just 5 villas on the site- yet it is just a 5 min walk from the road from where you can get a dolmus to the quaint fishing village, called Gumusluk, just 10 mins away. You are also just a bus ride away from Turgetreis- for banks/ market etc, and Bodrum- where they have a big ancient castle. Also in Bodrum they have a great amphitheatre, built into the rocks, where they have concerts/ dance performances. Then again if you fancy the big footy matches then Yalikavak or Turgetreis are just a bus ride away. The villa comfortably holds 6, in 2 double bedrooms & 1 twin. I of these has a lovely en-suite bathroom with a bath & twin sinks ! The views are great- mountains, the sea... There is a lovely clean big private pool and there is loads of space to sunbathe... either on the ample covered decking upstairs, or by the pool. Personally 1 of the highlights for me was lying on the decking listening to Bob Marley, drinking a Malibu & lemonade.....bliss... The villa is fully equipped. The owner, Trace, is very attentive & really cares about her home. She is easily contactable if needed. I can't wait to lounge around there again this summer. Heavenly! Great villa in a wonderfull location 5 of 5 Villa Prienne is a fantastic villa fully equipped and looked after by the owner Trace, to whom nothing is too much trouble. Perfectly located to explore the surrounding area either by car or the local Dolmus! We are a family of four with two teenage boys and we all had a great time staying here, we will most certainly be back. Review Submitted: 21-Aug-2017 Date of Stay: August 2017

Great property in an amazing location, everything you could ask for and more! 5 of 5 I stayed here with my family, 6 of us in total, for our first family holiday in a long time. Both the Villa and Tracey were amazing, the villa is equipped with everything you need to have an amazing holiday and Tracey is happy to help out at any time (she even come and got us when we got lost coming from the airport to the villa). Pool is a decent size and we loved spending our evenings on the roof terraces. We rented a 7 seater car for our stay and I would definitely recommend getting one, as many of the places we attended all required driving too, that being said i believe that the taxis run quite local. The locals are very friendly and we ate some amazing food at restaurants in Gumusluk and the neighbouring towns of Yalikavak and Turgutreis. We hope to return one day! Feels Like Home :o)) 5 of 5 After having previously stayed at Villa Priene, back in 2014 - We where extremely anxious to get back, This time extending our Holiday, from last time, to 2 weeks. Our holiday here this time surpassed what we had previously experienced, all our previous memories came flooding back. Meeting Tracy was like seeing an old friend again. A gem of a host - Nothing is too much hassle, went out of her way to ensure our stay was as good as it could be. The Villa has had improvements made since our last time. Nicely decorated, a brilliant garden terrace, which is nicely enhanced by the many twinkle lights that are on display - This makes for a perfect place to sit in an evening, with a drink, gazing at the stars. Free WiFi was also a perk we could enjoy this time around too. Which meant we could keep in contact with relatives back home and share the joys we where all experiencing. A Kodi box had been recently purchased by Tracy, this meant access to Music, Tv Shows and Movies, where just at our fingertips, to enjoy on the big TV screen, in the living area. The Villa was fully equipped with all your household needs. There was no going short on anything. We would recommend this Villa to anybody - And I'm confident, anyone who goes will have as good a time as we did. We hope to have ourselves a 3rd Holiday at Villa Priene in the near future! Rachelle...London July 2013 “Lovely Villa, Fantastic Weather, Great Hosts..” Recently rented Tracey and Martins 3 bed villa with a group of friends. If you are looking for perfect blue skies, a peaceful villa but with easy access to shops, bars and a beach, I couldnt recommend this place more. As soon as we booked, the owners went out of their way to help prepare us for the trip - highlighting needs to get visas, booking us taxis to collect us at the airport, pre-ordering food for when we arrived. It was a huge help and arriving to bottles of wine on ice kick-started a great week for the gang. The views from the villa are beautiful and I would recommend the place for both families or groups of friends looking for a holiday in the sun without rowdy tourists.

2 August 2012 We have had the most amazing 2 weeks in Turkey and for that we thank Tracey, Martin and Villa Priene. The villa has everything you could possibly need, we’ve enjoyed relaxing on the sun loungers reading books and the children have loved the pool. Thank you Tracey & Martin for your extra work keeping the pool to such a high standard for us! The location of Villa Priene is perfect for quiet days at the pool and exploring the surrounding area at night. There’s so much to see, we feel we’ve only touched the surface of what’s to offer here. We’ll have to come back to finish the job! It’s been ovely to see Tracey & martin daily and to tap into their knowledge of Turkey. You’ve given us great advice on places to visit. Your impeccable hosts! We’re sad to go home after a perfect two weeks, in an amazing and friendly country, but we will definitely be back. Thank you x Sarah, Andy, Imogen and Millie Rose Mille and I have really enjoyed swimming in the pool. Thank you for all the toys to play with. I love swimming at night time with the pool lights on. Its very peacfule here not like in London! I’ve had the best holiday EVER! From Imogen x I loved going out to the shops at night time. I loved going on the boat to camel beach and riding on the Camel. I loved swimming in the pool and playing with the toys. I loved swimming in the pool at night time. Millie!

May 2011 - Jill Beccy Daniel and Phil:- Just wanted to let you know that the 4 of us had a wonderful relaxing holiday in your lovely holiday home, Villa Priene is absolutely stunning and is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed – the description and photos on the website don’t do it justice. It was lovely to sit and watch the sun rise over the front of the house and watch it set whilst sitting with a nice cool beer up on the fabulous roof terrace amongst the comfy cushions and bean bags. The house is off the beaten track so nice and peaceful and plenty of wild life including a gorgeous owl who made an appearance every day! just as we were leaving, a large well-stocked supermarket had just opened down the road just a short walk away. We hired a car for the week which was good value we visited the vibrant port of Bodrum and the beautiful resort of Gumusluk. All in all a fab week, thanks again Tracey you were great to deal with.

Aug 2010 M Burnell:- Nobody wanted to leave, including 4 teenagers who had a fantastic time. The dolmus at the bottom of the lane meant we all had the freedom to do what we wanted, whenever we wanted to, Gumusluk & Yalikavak were both really nice places, easy to get to, and 2.50TL a head, there’s no need for a car provided you don’t mind a bit of exercise walking back up the hill to the villa. We all had a lovely time thanks, great villa, lovely views & the best position of all the villas in the small development in that it offers better privacy than the others. Great facilities with the pool, air-con, large shaded dining area & ample sunbathing areas. Added bonus for families is that the split level living areas, with a bathroom on each level mean you don’t have to spend all the time in each others pockets. Friendly & attentive management & advice from yourself topped off a great break – we’d be happy to recommend it to anybody!
