Overview
Casa Tangalle is a peaceful, relaxing private villa located on the long stretch of Seenimodara Beach. The villa is just 5 km from the Mulkirigala Rock Monastery and 2km from the Kudawella Blowhole. The self-contained villa offers two large air-conditioned bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, free wi-fi and a small outdoor swimming pool. The beach is a short 50 metre walk and is one of the safest beaches to swim at in the area. The villa backs onto the beautiful Tangalle lagoon which offers a lovely view from the verandah and garden.
The main living area has a flat-screen satellite TV, seating area with sofa and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the property. The smaller living area has a sofa bed which sleeps two guests. The fully-equipped kitchen comes complete with an oven, cooktop, and refrigerator. The bathroom features a waterfall shower and hot water. There is a half bathroom and shower located outside in the pool area. You can enjoy lagoon and pool views from the verandah.
The villa is located in a local fishing village where fresh seafood is abundant. Surrounded by nature you can see monkeys and peacocks playing in the trees and garden. Sleep to the sound of rolling waves and wake up to birdsong.
Other facilities we offer include laundry, dry cleaning, ironing service, grocery delivery and meals on request. Activities in the surrounding area include swimming, surfing, cycling, fishing, kayaking and snorkelling. We can arrange a private air-conditioned vehicle and our staff have extensive local knowledge and can arrange many sightseeing tours, activities or transport. The manager is always available to help with arrangements or answer any questions.
The property offers free parking. Colombo Bandaranaike Airport is approximately 220kms away and the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport is 52km away. We can arrange airport transfers on request.
Tangalle City is approximately 8km away. Here you will find banks, supermarkets, post office, hospitals and many shops for all your needs.

We had a great stay at Rebecca's. The location is perfect. Just a few steps from the house you will find a magnificent beach, preserved from the crowds and still natural, where you will find something to eat. On the spot, the presence of Suresh is very appreciable. He gives very good advice, is responsive and available. He was able to offer us local specialties for dinner every evening. He also accompanied us for visits and safari. I recommend !!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Casa Tangalle and felt very comfortable and at home from the start. The villa is well equipped and is only 100m from a beautiful and quiet beach. We also really enjoyed the pool. The nature there is just great, every day we saw monkeys, peacocks, mongooses etc. We will especially remember the friendly neighbors who offered us help and supported us immediately after our motorcycle accident. A very special thanks to Suresh, the diligent villa manager who drove us from A to B and also gave us great support. Thanks also to Rebecca for the very good communication and help. Eccellent place for a family or anybody alse who is looking for quiet place. Pool in the backyard, not crowded beach with few restaurants maybe 1 minute from the house and if some company is needed Tangalle city is 10 minutes by tuk tuk. What else do you need.
beautiful house right on the ocean. very well equipped kitchen. fast Internet. the area is very safe, the beach is beautiful. it was one of our best vacations. Rebecca took care of every detail and the service was like a 5 star hotel.
We loved staying in this house. It was clean and spacious. This house is perfectly located just 50 m from the Beach. Also the communication with the host, was good and easy. We would highly recommend this place to other travelling in Sri Lanka.
