Overview

El Rancho is a luxury holiday retreat established for over 17 years, set in the heart of the Andalucian countryside, surrounded by 4 acres of private organic olive groves and equestrian facilities with views of pine clad mountains. El Rancho is a small exclusive complex with 2 villas and a studio apartment, hosting a maximum of 11 guests.

Our 2 bedroom villa also has 2 bathrooms (a rare find).The villa has its own fibre optic WiFi connection, ideal for digital nomads. The villa is beautifully designed with private ground floor terrace and also a roof top terrace, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, the villa is totally independent. There are 2 swimming pools (main pool, 20ft x 40ft) with vast terraces and numerous comfortable sun beds, cushions, umbrellas and side tables. There is ample space so families and couples can easily have their own zones. We have separate shaded areas, with a large communal dining area and a lounge area with rattan sofas, a perfect place to share a glass or two with new friends. There is a heated jacuzzi. (available April - October) All the villas have private dining and sunbathing terraces, with wooden table and chairs complete with gas BBQ (ideal for dining El Fresco) and have been individually designed and lovingly furnished in a typically Andalucian style, to the highest standards. The villas are equipped with their own eco friendly pellet burners to give heating during the cooler months. An ideal retreat for couples and families of all ages anytime of the year, seeking a relaxing holiday. El Rancho is also a registered organic olive farm with exclusive equestrian facilities, we do not offer horse riding on site but we are more than happy to arrange horse riding for our guests at a local professional riding school. (please arranged in advance). We have a children's swing frame and petanque area.

Location
Ideally located in the countryside for hiking, cycling and getting back to nature. We are perfectly located with close connections to the motorway , ideal for those wishing to do some sightseeing, (Antequera, Granada, Alhambra Palace, Ronda, Seville, Sierra Nevada) only 40 mins from the the beaches of the Costa del Sol . The traditional village of Villanueva del Trabuco has numerous tapas bars and good restaurants offering a wealth of local cuisine and varied wine lists, all just 5 minutes away.

Our olive oil and local olive oil tours
Our olives are cold pressed to make our own organic extra virgin olive oil and guests are welcome to sample our own olive oil whilst visiting. We can also arrange olive oil tasting and authentic tapas at our close friends old restored olive mill. The mill has been restored and the owner is only too happy to provide organised tours of the mill. His olive oil has won numerous awards all over Europe.

Our Village
The local village of Villanueva del Trabuco has a weekly market on a Wednesday as well as an indoor market selling fresh local produce. The pretty plaza is a great place to enjoy a coffee or tapas and watch the world go by and on an evening in the summer is a hive of activity with its restaurants and bars offering El Fesco dining in true Spanish style. The village has its own modern medical centre, various banks, pharmacies, butchers, bakers, etc.

El Rancho is a professionally run exclusive luxury holiday destination with exceptionally high standards. Many guests return year after year, often to meet up with each other throughout the different seasons. An ideal destination for all generations, friends and families who like to be together but also like to have their own separate accommodation.

Bedroom 1
Bedroom 1 consists of 1 kingsize bed and fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan and en-suite bathroom.

Bedroom 2
Bedroom 2 consists of 2 single beds, complete with bedside cabinets and fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan and en-suite bathroom.

Bathrooms
Bathrooms, both en-suite luxury bathrooms feature granite vanity units, shower cubicles and wc.

Kitchen
Fully fitted kitchen, with granite work surfaces, full size fridge/freezer, gas hob and electric oven and Nespresso coffee machine. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality cooking utensils and glassware and BBQ utensils.

Lounge
Lounge/dining area, fully furnished with comfortable sofas and dining furniture, Eco pellet burner, provides heating, pellets provided at no extra cost, TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, blue tooth portable speaker and ceiling fan.

Private terrace
Private landscaped terrace with shaded eating area, complete with outside kitchen and built-in gas barbecue, ideal for eating alfresco, full wooden dining table and chairs, and sun loungers.

Roof Terrace
Private roof terrace, with stunning views of the pine clad mountains and surrounding countryside, complete with wooden chairs and sun beds

Additional
Bed linen and all towels are provided including pool towels. Baby cot with quality mattress and bed linen and high chair provided free upon request.
