Beautiful area with splendid Mediterranean village of apartments, townhouses and villas with three excellent 18 hole golf courses at it's heart, close to many blue flag beaches

Overview

This 1 bedroom apartment is simply great! It makes you feel totally at home and comfortable. The large living room has plenty of seating and a dining area for 4. You can sit back and enjoy the UK satellite television at night and just relax. The large American style kitchen is fully fitted to service any catering requirements you may have. It has a huge family bathroom and the double bedroom has a built-in wardrobe. The apartment is located on the outside of the plaza with views over the 1st hole of the Villamartin Golf Course, so no noise!!! You can enjoy morning coffee as the sun rises or a romantic glass of vino before you set off downstairs to one of the many restaurants or bars on the Villamartin Plaza. The location is perfect though with all forms of entertainment below and over 40 restaurants and bars to choose from so no need for a car, everything is on your doorstep!

Nearby there are many championship golf courses to choose from, a large Shopping Centre, numerous Blue Flag Beaches to choose from, markets galore and all within a few minutes drive or even walk-able and of course the Villamartin Plaza with over 40 restaurants and bars to choose from, location location location!!!!
This fantastic apartment is located on the Villamartin Plaza which offers more than you can imagine. The plaza is home to several top class restaurants as well as many other eateries suiting all taste, bars for whatever you may fancy, from Irish bars to sports bars, banks, doctors and a supermarket. There is a bus service and taxi rank as well so no need to hire a car with public transport at hand. If you visit during the summer months there is fantastic entertainment in the central plaza in the evening free to all, from local artists to named artists in Spain. Basically the Villamartin Plaza is the place to be on holiday. Follow it on facebook, Official Villamartin Plaza.

For the golfer the Orihuela Costa is the place to be. There are several professional courses all within a few minutes drive . In the near proximity there is the Campoamor Golf, Villamartin Golf, Las Ramblas Golf, Las Colinas Golf, Vista Bella Golf, Golf La Finca and La Romero Golf. You can hire clubs at most as well. We suggest if you are looking for ease of booking and discounted green fees to contact The Golf Factory in Campoamor.

Everyone comes to Spain for the Beaches and the Orihuela Costa has some of the finest “Blue Flag Beaches” Spain has to offer. There are the local tourist known beaches such as La Zenia Beach, Campoamor Beach, Cabo Roig Beach, Playa Flamenca Beach and the promenade beach in Torrevieja. If you ask about you can also find those special little beaches only known by the locals to have a little quiet time on the beach or a romantic day out.

For the shopper, you cannot ask for better as our new shopping mall, La Zenia Boulevard, being the largest shopping mall in the region is just a few minutes away. Zenia Boulevard has shops in which you can find the latest in fashion, services, design, accessories or decoration at very competitive prices such as those of Primark, Alcampo, Decathlon, Leroy Merlin, Norauto, C&A, H&M, Zara, Zara Home, Lefties, Mango, Stradivarius, Bershka, Pull and Bear, Springfield, etc. Apart from shops it has a Casino, bowling ally, and a host of fine eateries with all different types of food in the central court.

The local area host many things to occupy your time as well as sunbathing and a glass of vino. The local area offers other things to do such as horseback riding, scuba diving, flyboarding, fishing, sight seeing, quad biking or even hire a bike and go for a ride. Whatever you wish to do on your holiday in Spain, you can guarantee the Villamartin and local areas will have it, in fact we have everything!!!

Great communication with owner, both before &during stay.
Apartment in great location on plaza, overlooking golf course.
Clean &tidy with everything you need for self catering.
New air con fitted in bedroom.
Would definitely recommend apt.
We will hopefully be using it again.

The apartment was larger than expected with 2 beautiful balconies one with fab view over golf course .
It had a bit of a quirky feel in some areas that they had tried to update eg bedroom but remained typically Spanish.
Living area spacious . Good size kitchen if you wanted to cook .......the kitchen sink tap was very loose and needed attention well stocked kitchen tea coffee etc on arrival
Bathroom large clean tidy linen and towels fine asked for beach towels which were provided nice touch
Overall apartment very good value
Excellent position for nightlife and restaurant of villa Martin on 2mins for the action .
No good if you like the beach you need to drive .
Only negative was they had wrong dates for me leaving and tried to charge me €10 to much for cleaning and meet greet as it was was late arrival .
The host I think was lois was very nice about it and told me not to worry but it was myself who sorted it with clickstay i never heard back from host
All in all very nice place to stay xxxx

The apartment was lovely but when we where going to bed the first night the bed sheets which where burgundy where filthy with stains all over looks they had not been washed the towels where the same I had to brush up and mop the floor in the morning which was filthy the people there didn’t want to know. Yes they changed the sheets but that’s all and I e’mail the owner he didn’t want to know they are charging people fifty euros to make sure the apartment is clean I won’t be going back to that apartment again

All towels and linen are professionally cleaned. As I had already communicated to you on a previous email yesterday, I spoke to the managing agent who informed me that the stain on the bedding seemed fresh from sun lotion or sun cream, and the bed linen was changed for you. As the apartment is situated opposite the golf course, on a windy day the floors can get dusty quite quickly. I know this from personal experience as I have stayed at the apartment many times over the years.

The 50 euro charge is a standard charge in the industry for the professional cleaning of the linen and towels, and an after stay clean of the apartment.

Loved our stay at this apartment, had a lovely time in Villamartin and were lucky to see Leo Sayer and his band performing live and free in the Plaza during our stay. We will certainly be back next year. 09/26/2018 at 4:51 AM
