Villa La Sirena Details
Villa La Sirena is divided into two separate living spaces that are adjoined by a common patio as was typical by early Moorish architects. We refer to these distinctive living spaces as House A and House B.
On a personal note, the A and B is because the owners had two sets of twins. Before twins are born they are referred to Baby A and Baby B.:-)
House A
House A features an expansive wrap around porch and large living area with a cozy fireplace that functions as a favorite year around gathering place to read, play board games, relax, and entertain. Decorated in a stylish Mediterranean décor, the numerous windows from the living area provide gorgeous views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Perfect for watching a summer rain storm over the sea!
House A’s living room comes complete with two large sofas and large Smart television.
A separate dining room with French doors, opens onto the patio, and comfortably seats 8 people. Next to the dining room is the kitchen which is fully outfitted, and equipped with a large refrigerator/freezer, ideal for keeping your San Miguel chilled. The kitchen has plenty of cutlery, crockery & glasses in which to prepare meals. Off the kitchen, is a utility room with a washer and dryer and a line to hang your bathing suits to dry.
There are three bedrooms. Two are on the main floor, and have built in wardrobes and bedside units with drawers. One has an en suite bathroom with shower, and the other has a full size bath and shower just outside the bedroom door.
The third bedroom overlooks the patio and pool area and has an en suite bathroom, and private balcony/terrace. It can only be accessed from the patio, and sits within a strand of tall Rosemary and a bird of paradise tree which provides privacy from both villas.
House B
The exterior structure of House B features a three story, castle-like tower with an iron spiral staircase leading to the Master Bedroom and a roof top terrace that serves as a relaxing spot for more private sun bathing or to watch our famous sunsets and star-filled evening skies.
You enter House B via the common patio and walk into a bright living and dining area with windows facing south to the sea. There are two bedrooms in House B, and they are split over two levels. The downstairs bedroom is large enough to accommodate two sets of bunk beds plus a sitting area with large bay windows overlooking the rose garden and sea. The top two bunks are single beds and the bottom two bunks are each double beds.
A large bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate bath is located up a half flight of stairs from the bedroom and living area. On that same level, a small but fully equipped kitchen provides easy access to preparing and serving meals in the dining area or patio.
Off the kitchen, an internal staircase built within the castle tower takes you to the spectacular Master Suite with en-suite bath, and oversized balcony facing out over the sea. This is a breathtaking space where you will spend evenings gazing out at the fishing boats and listening to the steady crashing of the waves as you doze off to sleep.
Exterior highlights
The entrance to Villa La Sirena features a curved staircase leading up to a wrought- iron gated entrance. As you walk through the gate you will step into a historic Andalusian patio featuring Moroccan detail. This split-level patio is a common area for the two almost adjoining living spaces. A few steps up takes you to several landings—the top landing giving you access to a private pool with a sweeping view of the Mediterranean Sea. Make your way to the highest terrace with binoculars and see if you can catch a view of dolphins as they swim past La Sirena! Next to the pool you will find a fully fitted outdoor kitchen and covered dining area large enough to seat 12 plus 4 by the bar! It is uniquely designed for entertaining groups and families and is perfectly situated with beautiful views across the water.
There are so many places on this property to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Costa Del Sol. Come, wind down connect with family, friends and enjoy life in beautiful Southern Spain.
Please note we have created a guest book, left in House A with our favorite restaurants and trips suggestions!

La Sirena is thoroughly recommended. The facilities are amazing, as is the view, location and space. The outside space including the poor and terraces are amazing and have wonderful views. The houses themselves are really well equipped and have great aircon. Rosa and Manolo are really helpful and are close by should you need anything.
Thanks, we would love to come back.

We spent 2fabulous weeks here in august. There was 10 in total two families of 5. The place was better than advertised(since booking their page has been updated to include more pics but it’s still better in person)the outside kitchen was fantastic. We all loved the pool. Location was brilliant,we hired cars but walked into mezquitilla and algarrobo for meals out where there was plenty of choice. The hill up to the hse is tiring at the end of a night but even the youngest,6yr old, managed without complaints. Very few foreign tourists in the area and you only hear Spanish which to us was fantastic compared with some of the other areas on the costa. If u want a bit more hustle&bustle it’s only a short drive to nerja.
At the bottom of the hill is the coast. There is no beach directly down from the villa but there r steps down to the sea and we spent many a happy hour snorkelling there. Lot and lots of fish. Beaches in the area are stone. I 100% recommend the villa. Owner, Rosa,Manolo and family are all lovely.
My only fear in my 100% recommendation is that I’m afraid it will be booked up if we wanted to stay again!! Thank you for having us.

Villa La Sirena certainly has the wow factor. Beautiful location and Mediterranean views. Our family age range was between 13 and 68 years. The young teenagers hardly left the pool and we spent a lot of our time enjoying the barbecue and well equipped outside kitchen and dining area. We would agree with all the previous 5 star reviews on the villa's attractions. The manager Manolo was very welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend villa La Sirena and hope to be back ourselves soon.

Everything was wonderful about the villa. We were a family party of 10 and our ages ranged from 3-77. There were so many spaces to be together to eat or sit and other places to seek out quiet or shade etc. It was great having different areas for each small family or couple. The air-conditioned bedrooms were much used to escape the heat whilst the pool gave everyone such fun. The views were superb and the roof terrace was a great place to lie on the sunbeds and look at the stars at night. The owner was really prompt and helpful in answering any queries, his instructions for getting to the villa were excellent. The cleaners/managers were really pleasant, helpful and unobtrusive. The only challenge was the road going up to the villa which the owner has no responsibility for. All in all a fabulous place to stay, a lovely holiday and we would all highly recommend La Sirena.

We had an excellent time in the Villa la Sirena, 12 family members of all ages celebrating a 50th Birthday. Facilities were excellent, slight problem with the electric tripping when catering for a large number but nothing we could not overcome. The pictures on the website do not do the property justice, we would thoroughly recommend.

We were a large group and Villa La Sirena suited us perfectly. Ensuite bathrooms for four out of the five rooms, comfortable beds, a variety of quiet places to spend reflective personal time and also areas for the whole group to gather. Good facilities, fabulous views, an amazing outside kitchen with a brilliant BBQ all set in beautiful gardens.
The photos of this property do not do it justice and the fact that it is laid out over three levels provides a feeling of privacy to all. Good knees are essential for the stairs in the property which certainly keep you fit!
The local area is quiet and is only a short drive from the beach at Torrox with it's lovely promenade and array of shops and restaurants and for those wishing to have a special meal out - we can recommend La Farola. The Monday market at Torrox is also worth a visit for everything from fruit and vegetables to ceramics and handbags! Enjoy!

My wife (Nora) and I (Jim) bought this property over 20 years ago, it was almost a ruin and needed a total renovation and plenty of TLC. Fortunately we are Visionaries and Transformational Trainers! We labored, designed and debated and gave birth to what you see before you today. We raised our two sets of twins in this home until we returned to the U.S. We chose this property because it is a magical mountainside initially the home of the Phoenicians which lived here over 2,500 hundred years ago. It has incredible views of the sea the mountains and amazing sunsets. Our property includes a variety of native trees, plants and local birds visiting the property and its skies are wood dove, mourning doves, seagulls, green parrots and the protected swift. Once you have met the local Spaniards and have eaten the local food you will understand why we chose to live here. Though we have returned to our beloved U.S. We continue to bring our family here which now includes our grandchildren! If you are looking for a place to relax, and slow life down, there is no better place than here. And.... you want to add some fun you can easily visit our local restaurants and bars along the coast at night, many place have dancing as well! Enjoy our home, your family and friends and Spain and create moments that are lovingly memorable. The Zarvos Family
