★The main bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a full size bath & shower over. The Juliet balcony overlooks the lovely pool.
★The second bedroom upstairs has twin beds (which can also be made up as a king size -please request at the time of booking) and also has a Juliet balcony overlooking the pool. This bedroom is next to the family shower room.
★The large open plan living area has a dining area with seating for 6 guests. The comfortable sofa bed easily sleeps two extra guests. The living area has a Juliet balcony overlooking the Sierra Nevada mountains and the local countryside.
★The apartment is set in very quiet surroundings, which will enable you to work from home if necessary. There is adequate space for you to set up a work station for your laptop and an extension lead with a usb charging port should you choose to work on the terrace.
There is a good mobile phone signal and we provide fast WiFi, free of charge.
★There is a separate well equipped kitchen with high quality fridge-freezer, electric hob, full size oven, washing machine & dishwasher. The well stocked dresser has plenty of crockery and cutlery to allow for easy self catering.
★The fabulous roof-top terrace with its traditional barbecue over looks the lovely pool & gardens and also offers wonderful views of the Sierra Nevada. Furnished with high quality wooden furniture including a table and chairs allowing 6 guests to dine comfortably. There are also sun loungers and a hammock to aid relaxation. A large parasol is provided to shade you from the Andalusian sun. Why not have a barbecue and enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains and the Moorish castle which is illuminated at night.
★ Las Terrazas del Jardin Nazari was carefully planned to represent the areas Nasrid history. The outside spaces are beautifully landscaped, with palm and orange trees, fountains and water channels (illuminated at night) giving the atmosphere of Moorish gardens. A very tranquil space in which to relax.
★The gated community pool, fully enclosed for safety has a separate children’s pool and is open from 1000-2200 from 1st May to 1st October. Please respect the Spanish custom of siesta and the quiet hours of 1500-1700. A life guard is on duty during the summer months
★Beach/pool towels are provided.
★Both bedrooms and living area have aircon and beautiful wooden shutters which provide perfect blackout to allow restful sleep
★The well appointed apartment is furnished with high quality furniture and all beds and bathrooms are supplied with good quality linen and towels.
★The underground parking area has a private allocated space with lift access to the apartment or if you prefer free on street parking is available.
★Please note there are stairs up to the main living area and to the roof terrace therefore B41 may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.
★ We welcome babies and children, however they have to be included in the maximum number of guests. Infants under two are free and we provide a free cot and high chair.
★Our housekeeping team are pleased to be able to offer our guests (staying for 7 or more nights) a mid stay clean (which includes a bed linen and towel change) at a cost of 80€. Please request this when making your reservation.
★There is no set check in day, to enable you to make use of cheaper flights avoiding the weekend if you prefer. Check in is anytime after 1600 and check out is prior to 1000. If you have a night flight home you may be able to book an extra night subject to availability. Requests for early check-in or check-out are subject to availability and are charged at half the nightly rental rate. This will be confirmed 48 hours prior to check-in.
★U.K. & International TV plus Sky, movies and sports are included free of charge.
★Sustainability-We have recently invested in a solar powered hot water tank which holds 200 litres of hot water, (with a backup element for those few cloudy days) so that our guests will never run out of hot water.
We provide reusable dish cloths & scourers for your pots and pans and instead of providing plastic bottles of mineral water you will find a lovely glass bottle of tap water waiting for you in the fridge when you arrive.
We provide lunch boxes & refillable bottles for you to take drinks to the beach with you so there is no need to buy products in single use plastic wrapping or bottles. We have also installed pump dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel to the avoid the use of single use plastics.
Our housekeepers use eco-friendly cleaning products and the new washing machine uses only the minimum amount of water necessary.
We provide shopping bags for you to take to the shops so that you don’t have to buy plastic bags when you go shopping and encourage our guests to sort and recycle rubbish. We provide beach toys, inflatables and a body board for the children so that guests don’t have to buy a new bucket and spade each time they come and avoids having plastic items abandoned on the beach.

★Velez de Benaudalla is a traditional white washed Andalusian village with a fascinating Moorish centre and historic natural springs. Although the village is very peaceful (as there is no through traffic) there are choices of traditional tapas bars, restaurants, bakeries & shops, banks (with ATM’s) and a frequent bus service. This is all within (flat) walking distance of the apartment. There is also a small market on a Monday.
★The Nazari gardens are well worth visiting and there is an equestrian establishment close by that offers guided treks along the river.
★Velez de Benaudalla makes an excellent centre for walking and cycling (There is a highly recommended cycle hire centre in the village)
★Granada with its beautiful Alhambra is only 40 minutes away.
★The unspoilt beaches are a 15 minute drive and the traditional villages of the Alpajarras are well worth visiting.
★The Sierra Nevada mountains and the ski resort of Pradollano are an hour away. (The ski season last from November to May)
★The city of Motril is an easy 20 minute drive and has a wide choice of supermarkets as well as Los Moriscos Club de Golf.
★ The hill top village of Salobreña is also only 20 minutes away is well worth a visit!
★ Velez de Benaudalla is a perfect centre for exploring all that the wonderfully unspoilt Costa Tropical has to offer!

We had a great time at Sarah’s place and the roof terrace was amazing
Had a great week here. The apartment is fantastic - very clean and well provisioned. The roof top is a highlight with fantastic 360 degree views. The kitchen had everything I needed and the shower was really good. The complex is very peaceful and quiet. Lots of cafes and bars to choose from in the town.
Sarah's apartment is great. it's comfortable, modern, spacious and has great facilities! We used it as a handy base for walks in Monachil, Granada, Orgiva and Pitres, so made the best of its position in Sierra Nevada! it was lovely to come back, wallow in the pool and cook with ingredients from local shops and the market!
Excellent location to enjoy both the tranquility of Velez de Benaudalla and the development itself and at the same time very close to beaches in Motril, Salobreña, Almuñecar (less than 30 min) and even Nerja (less than 45 min). The house is fully equipped and very clean. Its location in the development itself is also unbeatable. It is also near Granada. Undoubtedly, para repeat.
The apartment is very good, the development pool is excellent. It is a recommended area because from there you can visit the beaches of Salobreña and Motril. We spent a very comfortable family week enjoying the local cuisine, its scenery and its people...
We had a fantastic stay in Sarah's apartment. The entire place was clean, comfortable and everything we needed was provided including anything we needed to cook in the flat. The town of Velez de Benaudalla is lovely and the locals are friendly, there are a few shops and restaurants but we hired a car to visit other towns which we found useful. Sarah made our stay easy and stress-free by being easily contactable and we would definitely recommend staying here.
Just returned home after a fantastic two weeks in Sarah’s apartment. It was very clean and we have never had a rental holiday home which was so well equipped. Communication was very good with replies to any questions coming very quickly. Sarah was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sarah!
The apartment is wonderful, just as you can see in the photos. The cleanliness is impeccable and the kitchen is very complete, you can find anything you need. Appliances are brand new and work perfectly. It is located in a beautiful, central, clean and safe development, Nasrid inspiration; it is an incredible experience to wake up to the noise of the water from the numerous fountains, as well as enjoy the huge terrace. We highly recommend it, it was a total success.
Sarah is a super host attentive to everything you might need. Every detail you can imagine is found in an apartment that's not missing anything. Exquisite cleanliness. A village among the mountains is very quiet and perfectly connected. Looking forward to coming back!

Our eldest daughter Lauren is a community midwife who lives and works in Oxfordshire. Our youngest daughter Lydia is a sports rehabilitator who runs her own business in Wiltshire.
