Overview

Villa Maxine is a beautifully maintained and recently renovated, air conditioned, 4 bedroomed villa with its own private swimming pool complete with patio and secluded garden area. This idyllic property is located in the delightful El Rosario area and is just a 2km drive away from a soft sandy beach and its charming beach bars and restaurants. For those of a sporty nature the villa is also only 0.5km from the prestigious Royal Tennis club with its choice of hard and clay courts and 1km from 2 of the coasts most beautifully landscaped Golf courses, the Marbella Club & Santa Maria Golf. It is also situated within easy reach of the ever trendy areas of Marbella (5 miles) and Puerto Banus just beyond. And with Malaga airport only 30 minutes away by car, Villa Maxine provides the perfect location to see and do as little or as much in the Costa del Sol as you choose. Within a short walk of the secluded villa are bars, restaurants and a supermarket, so a car, whilst recommended, is not essential.

The property itself is arranged over 3 floors and consists of 2 Lounges inside & outside dinning areas, a huge games room with its own pool table and dart board, 2 kitchens, 4 good sized bedrooms (2 with private terrace) plus 4 bath or shower rooms. (2 en suite) and a separate cloakroom. The main lounge has a 50 foot terrace and views over the pool to Gibraltar in the distance. The 2nd lounge/chill out room on the middle floor and the huge games room, mean that Villa Maxine can comfortably house up to 10 people. One of the kitchens is situated on the same floor as the main lounge, dinning area whilst the second is perfectly located on the ground floor, should you wish to have a BBQ, on the pool side patio just outside.

I can honestly say this is the best villa me and my family have stayed in. It was clean and spacious even when you have three teenagers with you they had space for privacy by playing with the pool table and playing darts in the ground floor living area, pool and surrounding garden was excellent, we couldn't keep the kids out of the pool. Its a 20 minute walk to the beach (just go through the tennis club gates).. There is a super-market bottom of the street and also a small café called Mamas bakery which is amazing. The bus route into Marbella is just in front of the supermarket and is route number 220 which comes every 30 minutes and only costs 1 Euro 20, cross the road and the same bus will take you to Fuengirola for the same price. Just be mindful the villa is on a hill, its fine walking to the beach, shop and bus stop but can be tiring on the leg muscles on the way back up to the villa.

I will definitely be looking to book here again, thank you for an amazing holiday in your villa, we had an amazing ten days.

Excellent size property for 10 to 12 people with excellent facilities (pool cues need a little attention). Only down side is the trees are very overgrown and therefore block out most of the days sun. Which is a bit of a shame as the option to stay by the pool all day is limited, it may be a good thing in the middle of the summer but not in October. We would definitely look to use the villa again.

Villa Maxine was perfect for our mixed group of 10 friends. All the facilities in the villa were exactly as advertised and the pool and garden area were better than in the pictures. The supermarket was a short walk down the hill and the shop assistant even phoned us a taxi to get us back up the hill with our shopping.
Marbella is about 10 minutes in a taxi and a fleet of them arrived within minutes of us phoning them.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay..thank you Chris.

The apartment is fantastic - spacious, well equipped, large terrace, easy access to the beautiful pool - what more could you want. The location is fantastic too - the location near the Rio Real golf course is a hidden gem on the Costa del Sol, just 35 minutes from Malaga, away from the hustle and bustle of Banus, just a short drive into Marbella and a million miles from the highrise of Torremolinos and Benalmedena. The beach is a short drive or fifteen minute walk, with Marbella Marina an envigorating walk down the beach if youre feeling more energetic. Nearby, supermarkets and other shops are in abundance. Rio Real golf course is a five minute walk away given you a restaurant and bar to use should you want to too. All in all, everything that Im looking for in a holiday rental and relaxing week in the sun - highly recommended

This beautiful villa was bigger than expected and situated in a very clean and well-kept residential area. It accommodated 9 adults + 1 child comfortably with plenty of space if you wanted some quiet time. The villa was very well equipped with everything in good working order. Having air con in all the bedrooms and living areas was great and made sleeping much more comfortable during the hot nights. The garden and pool area was very spacious and not overlooked at all. Having electric shutters made the villa feel very secure at night and especially when we went out. We particularly enjoyed the lovely greenery and trees in the garden and surrounding the villa. The gas barbecue was a great addition and used regularly as was the pool table. The local supermarket was very well stocked with fresh meat, fish and anything else you would need and also reasonably priced. We did need to hire a car to visit Marbella, Estepona and some of the beaches. However, if you are happy to stay in the villa and relax, everything is within walking distance including places to eat out. Overall, we had a wonderful family holiday and we absolutely lived the villa. Our thanks to Simon from Home James for the excellent service getting us all to and from the airport - highly recommended! Also thanks to Chris for letting us rent the villa - we hope to be back next year!
