1 Bed Apartment, Sleeps 4, Puerto Del Mogan, Gran Canaria

Great apartment, very clean, spacious with terrific terrace, only negative didn’t get morning sun just afternoon but the pool area got sun all day. Kitchen had everything needed and much more. Also provided, teas, coffee, milk and water on arrival. Fab air con. Maid service excellent. Towels, bedding, toilet roll, kitchen roll changed every Mon, Wed+Fri.
Pool area offering good facilities. Meal at restaurant very disappointing (not fine dining) but they did offer to replace it and other people seemed happy and entertainment was provided. Smart Tv and blue ray in apartment and free dvd’s Available in reception as well as books to read. JBL Bluetooth speakers in lounge and bedroom and free WiFi so can listen to playlists from your phone or tablet. Parking limited so best to book in advance if you have a car. We would definitely go back.

We recently stayed here for a week. The property was very clean and well equipped. Lovely outside space with dining table and chairs and 2 sunloungers. Property was serviced twice during our stay. Pool area was very nice with a bar and eating area. We did not eat there so can't comment on that. Room safe costs €2 per day, in my opinion it should be included. Wifi is available for a cost of €5.98 per 24 hour period which is scandalous, but beyond the control of the owner. Luckily my mobile contract covers European use. Wifi signal in the room was poor.

We also feel that the property description was a bit misleading. It is a good 20 minutes walk to the beach down a steep hill. The local beach is Taurito, nice beach with watersports and some bars and restaurants. Puerto del Mogan is a 10 minute bus ride away, the bus stop is at the bottom of a steep hill and costs €1.40 each. Walking there would be dangerous due to the road having no footpath.

Generally though, Cala Blanca is a nice resort and is peaceful in the evenings. Everywhere was clean and tidy and well maintained. We would stay there again should the opportunity arise.

Our overall stay was really very good - if you are looking nightlife then maybe this isn't the place for you - if you want somewhere that is really clean, friendly and relaxing this is your place and both Mogan and Puerto Rico are close by when the shuttle bus is provided at a euro ahead. Or like us if you miss the shuttle bus the main buses leave from the bottom of the hill below the apartments. For the older person this is quite a steep decline so check times of shuttle on a daily basis as it can change from week to week/day to day.
Food in the restaurant belonging to the apartments is also really good but a little expensive but for a treat when you're on holiday it is ideal - if you want to save money the kitchen and facilities in the apartment will be well capable in providing all you need if you want to cook. But best to buy groceries in the spar/mace (not sure which it is) in Mogan as its alot cheaper than the small shop on site.
I would definitely recommend staying here - very safe and staff really helpful and friendly - we had a great holiday, perfect for relaxing and weather was beautiful (start of February) Would love to be back there now ;-(

It was a lovely apartment with facilities but was not in Puerto del Mogan and not even within walking distance, we are fit walkers but didn't find a way to walk in, you had to drive or get a bus. It is sited at Taurito, we also didn't find any restaurant or bars to visit within walking distance apart from those attached to the expensive hotel complexes. Advert and description is very misleading to says it's a Puerto del Mogan.
