This villa has been completely renovated in 2021. It is luxurious and modern, with a touch of 70’s flair. A comfortable holiday home that offers the best for friends and family. Urbanisation Rosamar is famous for the restaurant that offers one of the best paellas of the coastal area with majestic views over the coast. There is also a beach bar with fresh local food and drinks

Urbanización Rosamar, also known as Canyet de Mar, is the coastal town of the municipality of Santa Cristina d’Aro and part of the Costa Brava (wild coast). It is surrounded by a nature reserve. The residential is small and has about 400 properties. In summer, this village really comes to life, as it welcomes a nice mixture of tourists and locals, without ever getting too crowded. All properties are built on hills facing the Mediterranean. Especially during spring and autumn, this area is very mindful and peaceful, with almost deserted beaches and very little traffic. Rosamar at its best. The Rosamaravilla residence is situated 200m from the beach and 200m from Carretera de Tossa. Only an hour north of Barcelona, or 45 minutes from Gerona, this is the perfect base to explore the Costa Brava.
You will find two beautiful small beaches, only 200 meters from the residence, that are divided by a peak called Punta Canyet. The main beach hosts a ‘chiringuito’ (beach bar) with a surprisingly extensive menu, including fresh fish and other local dishes, prepared on the spot, for you to enjoy with your feet in the sand. But the best-kept secret of this village is the restaurant Rosamar, with its breathtaking seafront terrace. This restaurant, located just 200 meters from the villa, recently entered the top 50 best restaurants in Spain. Furthermore, there is a beautiful path with bridges that take you to the inner reefs in the bay. A perfect spot for snorkeling. In the area around Rosamar, you’ll find numerous small bays and beaches where you are guaranteed to find tranquillity, even in the high season.

I am Gerald Victoriano, a Dutchman with Spanish roots, or a Spaniard with Dutch roots. As a little boy, I used to come to Rosamar to enjoy this beautiful bay. Snorkeling, running, canoeing, swimming, beach tennis, volleyball. I always loved being active here. When I grew older and had already run my first triathlon, I really saw this environment’s potential. Rosamar really became my home base for wonderful training retreats. I try to get everything out of life. Not only I’d love to practice sports, but I also enjoy making paella on an open fire, deejay at the local beach bar, and going clubbing at the coolest venues in the area. Here you don’t run across boundaries. You create your own program and I’m there to entertrain you if you’d like. In 2020 a dream came true with the purchase of this beautiful villa. Together with our creative architect Sandra Duran from Estudio Durán, we have turned Rosamaravilla into a completely renovated triathlon training facility with a vintage 70’s touch. Having participated in dozens of triathlons, and being a multiple full-distance IRONMAN finisher, I know the importance of having the best facilities to train and, at least as important, to relax and recharge after a day of hard work. I’m proud to say, that is exactly what RosamaraVilla has become!
