Unique, spacious and private property in commanding location with panoramic views southwest to the sea and island of Fuerteventura. Set back from the town of Puerto del Carmen, it is 1.5 km from the beach.
A private drive leads to the villa set in 1/2 acre of mature gardens with a main heated swimming pool 13m x 7m, separate heated children's pool 2m diameter (heated throughout the year) and a spacious barbecue area.
Accommodation comprises: entrance hall with interior glazed garden, huge kitchen, separate breakfast room with terrace, utility room with patio, TV room, satellite TV, DVD & video.
Main double bedroom with en suite bathroom, luxurious outdoor shower and patio, leading to main terrace.
Second twin bedroom and en suite bathroom with private terrace.
Third triple bedroom comprising 1 double bed and 1 single bed, with en suite shower room and private terrace.
Dining room seating 10 with indoor barbecue area, large lounge with bar overlooking main terraces.
Interior decor is traditional with custom made furniture and antiques. The villa has been recently refurbished and offers a high quality of accommodation in a private and individual setting.
The villa is easily reached by the main trunk road from the airport - a journey of 20 minutes by car and is on the outskirts of the village of Puerto del Carmen which is five minutes by car and close to the attractive yacht marina at Puerto Calero, also 5 minutes by car.
The satellite TV system is set up to receive English, German and Spanish stations.
For infants of 3 years and under, a cot and highchair are provided free of charge.
WIFI is available inside the villa and details of how to connect can be found at the villa on arrival.
There are two televisions, one in the TV room receiving UK, German and Spanish channels and one in the lounge with a DVD player.

Our company built the villa in 1978 when we were property managers and tour operators to Lanzarote. It was designed by a renowned architect on Lanzarote who worked with Cesar Manrique on many of the island's projects. Some of his artistic touches are reflected in the layout and surrounding landscaping. It was our home for many years and we have been welcoming clients to La Cancela Verde since 1990. Many of our clients have been returning year after year and we welcome them as old friends. We are lucky to have a first class management team of an experienced, qualified manager, top gardeners and efficient maintenance so that we endeavour to keep the villa in tip top condition with regular upgrades and renovations, Of all the sites on the island we chose this one, with its commanding views of the sea, islands and mountains yet within easy reach of Puerto del Carmen and its facilities. We most enjoy the space and peaceful surroundings that the villa affords, the privacy that each bedroom suite and terrace have and the comfortable seating areas around the swimming pools.
