We stayed here for 10 days and it was amazing, the communication with the owners was great, the villa it’s self was beautiful only thing I would say is that you definitely need a car it is only 11 minutes away from puerto banus so it is very close but to get out and about a car is recommended. We will definitely be staying here again ;)

My daughter and I stayed here as we needed a quiet location and a pool. We had a relaxing time and enjoyed local walks around the lake and mountains as well as a few beach days and looking around Marbella old town.
Simple facts:-
You need a car for this location.
You don’t need anything other than food and a few bags of ice as the property is used by the owners so it has plenty of kitchen equipment etc.
Good communication by the owners and the local agent, Alison, who knows the area and is very helpful in providing local info… eg basics like the best supermarket 8 minutes away which make your stay easier.
The Villa is clean and secure, you feel like you can leave all the doors open as the location has a good feel about it. Their is a spacious bedroom on each of the 3 floors (2 on the lower floor) so ideal for large families whom want space.
You are a 10 min drive from everywhere beach/ mountain/ Puerto Banus / Marbella, I saw this as a positive as this property has lots of parking so no stressful looking for a place to park.
Great Wi-fi/ 5G / okay TV and satellite channels, one of the sofas is a bit uncomfy but you have a choice of 3 huge ones!!!
Thank you to the hosts and Ali the agent for removing stress from holidays and leaving us wanting to stay longer…. All the best D&E

This was a lovely large villa and very peaceful. Ideal for families. The hosts were amazing, as we needed to find somewhere quick as the villa we was staying in, was not good! They went over and above to help us out. There are good people in this world….
Such a beautiful villa! The pictures don’t do it justice. It was extremely well maintained and very clean, they provided every amenity imaginable. We will definitely be recommending to friends and will look to stay again in the future
“Idyllic.... Well appointed, quiet with views of the sea and La Concha.” Reviewed August 22, 2011 for a stay in August 2011 Excellent communication by the owners Sue & Balu, who we emailed whilst there with a couple of queries, which were answered almost immediately. The property is well presented with a fabulous pool area which is very private. Inside there is a well appointed kitchen (like the two refridgerators), open plan living area with basic Sky TV (UK). The bedrooms are comfortable and the master is very spacious with a recently replaced to a high spec en-suite. The location does suit the use of a vehicle but it only takes 10 minutes or so to get to Puerto Banus. There are numerous golf courses within 5 minutes drive. We liked the vista from the villa, the pool and the general quietness of the localle. Liked the least leaving to come home
“Beautiful villa in a stunning peaceful setting over looking puerto Banus.” Reviewed June 22, 2012 for a stay in June 2012 We would highly recommend this beautiful spacious villa. The views from every room are just breathtaking. We went for a girly weekend and had a fantastic time. The villa is just far enough away from the liveliness of puerto Banus to appreciate the stunnung views and close enough to get a cab (€12) to go to the beach for the day or a night out. The villa has got a lovely pool and large enough for a little swim. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The villa is extremely well equipped and has everything you could possibly want and need if you were at home rather than just a holiday rental. I contacted the owners a few times requesting information before our rental and had to contact them while we were there and found them to be really helpful, friendly and prompt in their response. I would definitely return to this villa
“Amazing villa, I would recommend for large groups or families.” Reviewed July 2, 2012 for a stay in June 2012 We knew this would be a great villa but were still happily surprised on the size and the amenities. You have everything you need, it really is a home from home. We didnt hire a car and would recommend this as it is a distance away from shops etc however taxis are easily ordered and were always there within 5 mins of calling. I would recommend this villa to all. It made our holiday very enjoyable, we will be back.
“I loved it” Reviewed August 5, 2012 for a stay in July 2012 Great for a family holiday. Three generations where on this family holiday and there was something for everyone. Day trips to Estapona and Rhonda offered a little rest bite from the hustle and bustle of Marbella. A day trip into Malaga is a must and the Picasso museum, and they cathedrals are particularly impressive. The villa was great, in a quiet area so we had no worry of the weekend party crowds that often descend on puerto banus. However I would say a car is necessary .The villa itself was brilliant. Everything was taken care of, there was even a stroller so we wouldnt have to pack one. The youngest member of the party was four at the time of our stay and I think she loved it most of all, the rest of the holiday went past in a blur but she is still talking about her home in Spain and how she missed it. I think that is the best way to describe it, the villa felt like a home allowing us to have a brilliant holiday

“Lovely villa, in a beautiful location!” Reviewed August 22, 2012 for a stay in August 2012 From the moment we made our booking with the owners we received a fantastic service. They quickly responded to my questions and provided us with lots of detail about the villa and local area. On arrival in Puerto Banus I contacted the local agent who was extremely helpful and meet us and escorted us to the villa. The villa itself was fantastic. It had everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable and had amazing views. All the rooms were beautifully furnished and spacious. The children loved the pool and spent most of the week in it! We hired a car and even though we spent most of our time relaxing in the villa, it was needed in order to get to the shops and go into Puerto Banus, which was only a few minutes drive away. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again!
The Villa is imposing when you enter, wonderfully large, clean spaces throughout. A huge day room with access on two sides to the wrap around patio that provides wonderful views to the mountains on one side and views to the lake and sea from the other. The Kitchen is very large and has all of the modern amenities you could possibly need, to the side of this is a utility with modern washing machine, dryer, iron etc. With only two of us staying we did not use the lower floor that has bedrooms with balconies to each. We did use the master bedroom on the top floor, a large comfortable bed, dressing and sitting area, his and her bathroom with shower and whilpool bath. A door opens onto a top deck with seating and fantastic views, not to mention the sauna. With the weather wonderful, we made full use of the outdoor space that has a large pool for swimming and keeping the heat off. There are plenty of quality sunbeds and a seating area in the shade should you need to get out of the sun. The location is such that you will need a car to get about. There are many good places to eat and bars close by, (about 1k) but we used a taxi to get into Marbella and Port Banus which was less than 10 euros. I would very much reccomend this gated Villa if you want luxury away from the crowds but still close enough to be able to mix with them when you wishns on one side and views to the lake and sea from the other. Our week at the villa was excellent: a lovely spacious villa with a nice private pool and superb views of the Marbella area. Being close to the beaches and to Puerto Banus offered us plenty of choice for things to do outside the villa. There is also a great choice of restaurants just down the road together with supermarkets, banks etc, Great location.
A fabulous Villa off the beaten track in a secure gated community with beautiful sea views. The owners have covered every eventuality with plenty of sunbeds and tables and chairs around the family sized pool. The master bedroom at the top of the property is lovely with its own terrace and shower and the further 3 bedrooms, 2 on the lower floor and 1 adjacent to the lounge were enjoyed by the kids. We had to keep all lower floor windows and doors locked as our youngest is very inquisitive and the villa is built on the edge of a dro p. This didnt cause us any issues as the aircon worked very well. A Gas barbecue allows al Fresco dining although the abundance of great local restaurants did distract us a little! We were met by a local representative who showed us to the villa and had supplied a welcome pack at our request which was indeed welcome. All in a great place to spend a summer holiday. Sue and Balu, the owners were very helpful via email before and after the holiday, which i think you need when you book from websites. Thank you.

Just returned from a very enjoyable week in villa Los Pulus. Four of us stayed and there was plenty of room for all of us. The villa was spotlessly clean, and had great views of the sea and hills. A car is definitely required for trips into town, and to the supermarket. There are a couple of restaurants (just) within walking distance, but the way back us up a steep hill. We weren't to impressed with El Picadero, but just a bit further towards town there are some better places. We opted for the pool heating and were glad we did because it made the pool that bit more pleasant but in the height of summer you probably wouldn't need it. Didn't get a chance to try the sauna, but it looked cozy for two :-) Kitchen is great, with plenty of space, utensils, and modern fittings. The kettle and hob seemed to be special attractions!. Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Los Pulus. We had a great holiday thanks & really enjoyed our stay at Villa Los Pulus, it was lovely, just as it looked in the pictures & was in a nice quiet location away from the hustle & bustle which we liked. We had a lazy 10 days & managed to unwind perfectly, snoozing by the pool taking in the views, shame we had to come back to work! Thanks again for all your help, oh & I managed to find my favourite Scottish soft drink in the SuperSol at the Central Plaza by the Bullring so that was an added wee bonus!” AM&KI Aberdeen, Scotland

My family and I stayed in this beautiful villa during Christmas. We found this villa spotlessly clean and thoughtfully furnished. The location is fantastic, in a quiet gated community but within 5 minutes of Puerto Banus and the main motorways. A car is recommended. We had a wonderful and enjoyable holiday. There are some excellent country walks near the villa and feeding the wildfowl at the Turtle Lake delighted the children. I would recommend Villa Los Pulus without hesitation and I would like to visit again next year.” The Vadi Family, Surrey, England
Just to say many thanks for your help in our stay at Villa Los Pulus....it was even better than expected. Really superb and having a late check out made it even better as it gave us an extra days stay. The villa has everything you need , better than every apartment we have ever stayed in, it was heaven. Look forward to booking with you again ”, The Cumming Family, England

Surroundings are great, but in common with much of the area there is a lot of suspended building work, and the nearby lake could do with a bit of a tidy up. All in all would thoroughly recommend if you don't mind being away from town and are happy to drive. Recommended for: Romantic Getaway, Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing Duncan P, UK

Private Owner From Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom Member since Jan 2009
We are Sue and Balu Dorani, the owners. We are both employed full time as National Health Service (NHS) professionals in the United Kingdom. Balu is a consultant surgeon, Susan is a senior critical care nurse. We live in Newcastle upon Tyne. We have been regular visitors to Spain for nearly 3 decades. We love Spain and particularly the Marbella area which is genuinely a home away from home with so many ex-pats and familiar shops like Marks and Spenser, and Iceland among others. We have owned Villa Los Pulus for over 16 years. This is a traditional charming property in a safe gated community. We hope to live here sometime in the future. We manage to use the villa for a few weeks a year. Renting this large villa to others helps us to keep the villa in top condition and also to allow others to enjoy this beautiful property in a stunning location. Villa Los Pulus has been renovated in 2022 and is a beautiful villa with breathtaking views. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
