Overview
Due to a very sad bereavement the apartment has not been available for rental between 2015 and 2020. However, I am pleased to say that it is now back on the rental market. It proved very popular before, as can be seen from the fantastic reviews and it also gained a five star Trip Advisor award in 2014.
Before I go any further I wish to inform you that I now own the apartment next door which is essentially an identical property offering similar facilities. This apartment is available, in addition to the current one, for the months of April, May, June, July, August, September and October. This makes it ideal for two family groups or groups of friends and it sleeps up to four people. This property can be viewed under property number 366973.
Now back to the current property. Luxury modern ground floor spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment on a secure gated complex in Marbella, Costa del Sol, Spain. The apartment has a ground floor entrance from the road, but has an elevated position from the terrace, which overlooks the main pool and the gardens and has views of the sea. There is direct access to the gardens from the garage underneath the apartment. The apartment is situated near the sea, between the golf courses of Cabopino and Santa Maria on the attractive development of La Reserva de Marbella(Phase 1). It is not part of the large Phase II development further in land. This area of the Spain is also known as the Costa del Golf, as there are some fifty courses on the Costa del Sol.
The apartment, which can accommodate up to four people is fully furnished with good quality furniture and fittings in traditional Spanish style with marble floors throughout. The bedrooms can be configured for two super king size or four single beds or a combination of the two. Also can be provided are beach towels. A BBQ is provided for al fresco dining.
It has remote controlled air conditioning in the living and bedrooms, providing cooling, heating and de-humidifying and each room can be controlled separately. It also has large walk in showers in both bathrooms There is a remote controlled awning to shade the terrace if required and it also has a dedicated car parking space in the garage below the apartment block.
The development is located just to the east of Marbella town and close to one of the best beaches on the coast and the lovely marina at Cabopino. There are many restaurants, beaches, bars, golf clubs, shops and amusements in the area and the famous resort and marina of Puerto Banus is within easy reach. Things to do and see in the local area include Water Sports, Water Parks, Wild Life Park, Sea Life Centre, Adventure Park, Theme Park, Butterfly Park, Crocodile Park, Zoo, Paragliding, Trampolines and Cinemas plus of course the Sea, the Beaches, beach Bars and even Shopping if you want to do that on holiday. Malaga airport is around thirty five minutes away by car and car hire is advised to get the very best from the holiday.
This part of Spain is active all year round and has a superb climate, averaging 300 days of sunshine per year, with daytime temperatures in winter often reaching over 20C. The Costa del Sol is the most popular holiday destination in Spain, with it's golden-sand beaches, stunning coastline and such popular and world-renowned places like Marbella, Puerto Banus, Gibratar, Fueringola, Benalmadena, There are plenty of places to explore inland including Mijas Pueblo and Ronda and the white villages of Ojen and Monda etc. The cities of Malaga, Granada, Sevilla, Cadiz and Cordoba are not far away. You can even catch a ferry to Morocco. You will have plenty to do and see
A car is by far the best way to get around the area, to go to the beach, sightseeing and shopping. There is however a good bus service along the main coast round which is a five minute walk away. This service goes to Marbella, Fuengirola and beyond. There are also local taxi services available. The nearest railway station is at Fuengirola with trains to Malaga and the airport. This service does not go any further west than Fuengirola.

Want to say thank you owner for cozy staying at the property! Best communication ever with the owner, very helpful and give us a lot of information about restaurants, activities, car insurance, and directions to the property. Distance to the beach is about 20 minutes walk, with few restaurants and shops around. The property is built on a slope so if you walk anywhere you'll have to walk up hill eventually, but it didn't bother us. Clean, quiet, and safe area.

5/5 Our winter getaway Our host Geoff has a lovely property that we rented for February. It suited us to the letter. Everything was as described and if there was any slightest issue, it was sorted straight away. We had various family come over and stay with us at different times, all accepted with ease. The underground garage was a great bonus. Many thanks Geoff. See you next year.
4/5 Schönes Apartment in ruhiger Lage Die Wohnung ist groß und geräumig, zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder, Küche und Wohnzimmer. Das Bett war bequem und auch schön groß.In der Küche ist alles was man braucht, schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber funktional. Die Wohnung ist etwas hellhörig, gegen Abend waren Geräusche über uns zu hören.Es gibt einen Tiefgaragenstellplatz, die Einfahrt ist groß und der Platz selber auch. Leider kann man das Tor von innen nicht öffnen. Dies geht nur mit einer Fernbedienung oder einem Transponder, den wir nicht hatten. Zum Strand fährt man mit dem Auto ca. 5 Minuten, zu Fuß ca. eine halbe Stunde.Alles in allem haben wir uns in der Wohnung wohl gefühlt und haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Nice apartment in a quiet location The apartment is large and spacious, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, kitchen and living room. The bed was comfortable and also a good size. The kitchen has everything you need, a bit old but functional. The apartment is a bit noisy, towards the evening we could hear noises above us. There is an underground parking space, the driveway is large and so is the space itself. Unfortunately you can't open the gate from the inside. This only works with a remote control or a transponder, which we didn't have. The beach is about 5 minutes by car, about half an hour on foot. All in all we felt comfortable in the apartment and enjoyed our stay. Owners Repy Unfortunately will Frank was staying bat the apartment there was a problem with the garage door and he was ubablev to use the key supplied to open the door.

5/5 Overall everything was nice and pleasant. We enjoyed staying in this place, everything was available in the apartment, except vacuum cleaner. Walking distance to the beach. Safe area and nice people living in the area.
4/5 Value for money The property allthough a little bit dated ticked a lot of boxes for a prolong stay ,everything you needed was provided for .The pool, even late into the season was warm enough for a daily swim and was well maintained . The garage space was large and convenient and secure. The downside was really only that it was on the wrong side of the main road so a car really is a must especially if you have any difficulty at all with steep hills Owners Repy. Thank you John for your stay, for your review and I am pleased you enjoyed it. However, I must point out that the apartment is purposely furnished in a traditional Spanish style with furniture and fittings to suit that way. Also, the apartment is indeed located on a short hill, but many guests have holidayed there without using or needing a car and you can see by the many good reviews that there have been lots of satisfied customers. I am myself retired and when I am there I frequently walk to the local supermarkets without any problems as I find the exercise ideal. I know you holiday in this area most years and you would be welcome to stay again. Perhaps you could stay in my other apartment next door which is furnished in a more modern style. Thanks again. Idéalement placé en face des superbes dunes de Artolas, à 12 km de Marbella et 12km de Mijas Pueblo, Malaga n'étant qu'à 40 km.Rue très pentue pour accéder à l'appartement et en sens unique du fait de stationnement de véhicules sur la gauche en montant.Dommage que la grande piscine ne soit pas remplie à cette époque de l'année, ne serait ce que pour l'esthétisme.Appartement avec tout le confort nécessaire Très bon relais au niveau du relationnel avec Theresa et son compagnon. Between Cabopino and Marbella 2 month stay in Geoff's apartment. Ideally located opposite the superb dunes of Artolas, 12 km from Marbella and 12 km from Mijas Pueblo, Malaga being only 40 km away. Very steep street to access the apartment and one-way due to parking vehicles on the left going up. Too bad the large swimming pool is not filled at this time of year, if only for aesthetics. 4/5 Lovely break Overall, very happy with apartment and location. Well equipped and comfortable. Stayed there with my sister and it was the perfect size for two. Although it had two bedrooms, think it might feel cramped for 4. There were two slight problems: 1: couldn’t get the awning over the balcony to work which meant we were unable to use the balcony for drinks before going out for dinner as it was really hot and sunny (July, so in 30’s). The other slight issue is that you have to take your chairs down to the pool as no chairs provided and those in the apartment were really bulky and uncomfortable. Would still recommend the apartment but just thought I’d mention these issues as might be a problem for some.

5/5 Great place to stay We spent three weeks in la réserva de Marbella. We had a very good holiday with a fully equipped apartment. The rooms were big enough for a fig persons family. The terrace gives a wonderful view on the pool and the beach. The pool is very nice and clean. I recommend this apartment !

El arrendatario nos envío las llaves y hasta el último día fue muy amable y atento. Si vuelvo repito seguro. It's a very cozy apartment with everything we needed to be comfortable and fresh. It's in an urbanization in the middle of everything we were interested in visiting and close to the beach. The tenant sent us the keys and until the last day he was very kind and attentive. If I return I repeat for sure.

“Fantastic” This was our second stay at Geoff's place. Our daughter is 3 years old and just loved the pool and local beaches. We first stayed when she was 5 months old. Easy reach of all local amenities, great pool, local restaurants ans supermarkets, see you next year
5/5 Great holiday Four or us stayed at the apartment for a week in sept,we had a great time. The apartment is very clean, comfortable & spacious with everything you could possibly want. The pool area is very nice & exceptionally clean. The complex is up bit of a hill, but this didn't bother us but it is also very close to the main road so it is ideal to get the bus into Marbella centre. If we go back to the area we would stay here again.
Perfect for us! 5/5 Stayed Sep 2015 We stayed at the apartment for 5 days. It was a fantastic break for two couples. The apartment was very well equipped and the owners thought of everything towards making our stay comfortable and welcome. The apartment overlooks two pools and receives the sun until sunset. A car is preferable for this locality as it is pretty quiet however that suited us. We have informed the owners that we will be back again. Highly recommended!
Clean modern and well kept apartment. 5/5 Stayed Jul 2015 Having just returned from a 2 week stay in Geoff and Pam's apartment we found it to be spotlessly clean when we arrived.It had everything that makes your stay that little bit easier.Sky tv,internet access a fully equipped kitchen together with a very good air conditioning system and believe me whens its 38 degress you need it.The pools and gardens were immaculately kept and although a car is not essential as there are restaurants bars and a supermarket near by It would make your stay that much more enjoyable. “Fantastic Apartment, ideal for families - Would highly recommend” We stayed for 1 week in June 2015, with our two children (aged 4 and 2). Apartment was clean, spacious, safe/secure with everything that you could need. All three swimming pools were great, but we particularly enjoyed the larger one......fantastic for children. The owners were extremely helpful beforehand with lots of tips and advice, including car hire, directions, local attractions etc. My wife enjoyed the selection of videos and dvd's and my children were delighted to find a cupboard full of beach toys! I particularly enjoyed the evenings on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool and the Med! Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone and hope to visit again soon. Top quality 5/5 Stayed Mar 2015 This apartment was by far the best we ́ve ever rented. It had everything you needed, every detail seemed to be carefully thought of: beautiful furnishing, all equipment's you needed, lots of TV channels (our jaws dropped when we realized that the TV showed two Finnish TV- channels), free Wi-Fi. The apartment was spotlessly clean, safe and in all ways pleasant. Especially we were grateful for the heating possibility as we were rather unlucky with the weather: chilly and rainy. That ́s why we didn't ́t use the pool but still we could enjoy the beautiful grounds. Last but not least we want to thank our hosts for their kindness and helpfulness. Excellent apartment 5/5 Stayed Feb 2015 There is absolutely nothing to fault with this terrific apartment. Spacious accommodation, excellent facilities, spotlessly clean, secure and easy parking, great internet UK TV service and fast wi-fi. Modern and in a large but well designed urbanisation, in Feb/Mar it was quiet and peaceful . There is a view of the sea from the balcony as well as the swimming pool and well kept gardens. The location was very good, walking distance to both a very well stocked mini supermarket, and the marina at Cabopino with good cafes and restaurants and the adjacent beaches. About 15 minutes drive to Marbella centre. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this apartment.
“Everything you need for a great holiday” My husband and I only went for a long weekend and the apartment was easy to find and very comfortable for our visit. The Apartment is well equipped with two bathrooms, both with walk in showers and has a good modern well equipped kitchen and two bedrooms with more than ample wardrobe space. We also enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable lounge in which ther is a good selection of TV channels and WiFi. Although we never used the gardens due to time of visit ther are two lovely pools in which to swim which can be viewed from the balcony
Perfect Apartment & Great Holiday 5/5 Stayed Oct 2014 This apartment was absolutely perfect, the owner Geoff gave great information before we arrived, provided details of a good car hire company which we used and fantastic price. The directions from Malaga to Apartment were perfect and arrived with no problems. Accommodation was lovely, decoration, space. There were lots of personal touches videos, DVDs Sky sports (husband loved catching up on Golf), chairs you can use by the pool, in the kitchen it had everything we needed, and a few extras that were left we could use. The terrace had lovely views over the pool and gardens which are very well kept, it was a quite and secure with gated access to the pool etc. I have to say this is ideal apartment and felt like a home from home and we would definitely go back to this place. Fantastic and great help from the owner.
Spot on 5/5 Stayed Oct 2014 happy holiday United Kingdom Excellent apartment. Well furnished and comfortable. Pleasant surroundings with easy access to communal pools and a nice view from the veranda. Everything had been well considered which was very welcome after traveling with a young child. Owner had lots of good advise (car hire, restaurants, supermarkets etc) which allowed for an easy transition into a wonderful holiday. Good choice of restaurants, beach and local supermarket all within a 10/15min walk. Highly recommended
Great holiday 4/5 Stayed Oct 2014 A lovely clean spacious apartment. Geoff and Pam have provided everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. Excellent directions and advice about local restaurants. Enjoyed exploring the area as there is lots to see in close proximity to the apartment. The pool area is lovely and the complex is well maintained. Very secure for families with young children. Lovely beaches nearby. To make the most of what is around, car hire would be recommended although there are restaurants within walking distance
“Lovely apartment, we had a fab time” We stayed here with our 2 young children. The apartment is well set up and had everything we needed, it's close to supermarkets and the communal pool facilities are lovely. It's also good to have safe underground parking. The apartment can get quite hot later in the day, but then the air conditioning makes it comfortable. Very helpful guides from the owners to help you find all the local shops/markets/restaurants etc. Overall a really nice holiday apartment
“Everything you need for a relaxing holiday” Really enjoyed our stay at your apartment in Cabopino. The apartment is extremely well equipped, spacious with two large bathrooms, which was ideal for our family of 5,including 3 teenage girls! The pools and pool areas are immaculate, with plenty of space for all. There are numerous beaches and areas to explore, with lots of good restaurants close by. There is a large balcony area, big enough for table, chairs and BBQ. We had a lovely stay!
Home from Home in the sun 4/5 Stayed Jul 2014 John M. Just back from a brilliant stay in Geoff & Pamelas apartment . It had everything you could possibly want , brilliant top range air con set in stunning gardens , fabulous pools and near by beach. The quality of places to eat with our favourites being Da Bruno , Alberts & El Rancho in Cabopino & Pollo in nearby ElViria. I've tried hard but hard to find any faults with our stay. We enjoyed road trips up to Mijas , Ronda & along the coast & are already planning for a return next year. A car is essential for the location to get maximum value

La Reserva Marbella 4th trip 5/5 Stayed May 2014 Booked for 5.5 weeks, couldn't wait to arrive and be back in what feels like our second home ! Just as great as before, lovely time of year, trees and flowers all in bloom, pools to ourselves most of the time. Super meal in our favourite Chinese restaurant, Geoff and Pam as helpful and hospitable as ever, very sad to leave but living in Spain now !

“Perfect appartment” First time I booked directly with owner. I live in Holland, so a bit afraid that things went wrong, but it was perfect. Good email contact with the owner. He answered all my questions. Payment via PayPal very good. We loved the appartment with the two bathrooms. We were together with my mom, so very comfortable... If we go back, we will book this again
“Wonderful holiday” We stayed in the apartment with our 11 month old baby and I cannot recommend it enough, The owners went out of their way to make sure all our questions were answered beforehand, and the apartment had everything you could need - and more! It was like a home from home. The pool and nearby beaches are beautiful and the choice of restaurants and things to do feels limitless. Plus we had amazing sunshine all week - perfect :-) Thanks very much for having us and we'll be back!

Kids loved having pool to themselves almost every time, good underground parking, easy access. “Wonderul place to stay” I highly recommend this apartment for your holidays..The complex is very beautiful, with various pools, gated and very sought after.. The apartment itself is brilliant..I always rent apartment for my holidays but this one is one of the best I've ever seen! It's very well-equipped, everything is here, including iron board, buckets and balls for children, cd's of all styles, we were really surprised!! Maid service once a week with Theresa and her husband who are very charming and efficient.. Geoff the owner of this apartment always available to help by writing back quickly to your emails.. “Lovely appartment, real home from home, re-booked day we arrived home !” Quiet, safe, beautifully landscaped pools and gardens, choice of pools, pretty close to amenities, very good value, quality surrounding restaurants, comfy beds and sofa, very well equipped kitchen, spotless on arrival. Would recommend a car to explore area, only 15 mins drive from centre of Marbella. Very nice to have two bathrooms ! Didn't want to come home. Very pleasant and prompt communications with owner, lots of information provided about areas to visit, dining out and shopping. Mijas water park great fun, 30% discount after 2.30 pm in May/June. Great roads, pleasant service at all local restaurants. Only criticism is that the photos don't do it justice, loved it so much have re-booked to back in August !
“Great Holiday” The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed in the Kitchen. It also provided toys/buckets and spades and pool inflatables that kept my 5 year old very happy. It was very spacious, clean and very well located with several beaches and restaurants near by. The view from the balcony was lovely with views of the pool/gardens and sea. The pools were lovely too and the main pool is very safe for toddlers. We were given maps showing the local restaurants and supermarkets nearby which was a great help. Some restaurants are right on the beach so my daughter was kept happy aswell as me :-) The owners also provided us with phone numbers for a local English couple that work on site so if I had any problems I could contact them which I thought was very good. Underground parking was also a bonus because it was hot in May. Overall we have a great holiday and will go back.
“Excellent apartment very well equipped and spotlessly clean.” Stayed here for 3 nights on a girlie weekend. All correspondence was excellent from the first phone call thru to returning the keys . The apartment is well equipped and was very clean and well presented. All literature from directions from the airport to local restaurants was very detailed and extremely useful. Had a fantastic weekend would definitely recommend and is excellent value for money. Thank You.
“Lovely apartment in good location” Information received was very well thought out and organised for a great stay. We found the location ideal. A variety of good and different beaches were nearby, and the small marina at Cabopino, plus this made for an ideal location for visiting other destinations. Comfortable and clean apartment with all we needed. Would love to have tried the pool, but too early for a dip in March. Recommended and good value too.
Back again to our favourite apartment ! Wanted to see what it was like in winter, just as lovely, really good temperature although children were a bit blue in the pools.....Convenient for Fuengirola and Marbella, and lots of good restaurants within walking distance, so good to return once again, only sad that holiday was for one week.
