Overview
The log cabin is set in its own private gardens with outdoor seating area for dining and for relaxing with a lawned area and fruit trees (pick your own). The French doors open out to the extensively large garden area.
As you enter there is a large open planned living room, kitchen and dining area. The living room is comfortable with all new leather reclining furniture, flat screen T.V. with all international satellite channel (including BBC), D.V.D. player with a selection of films, radio and music channels . The kitchen is well equipped, modern, has oven and hob, auto washing machine , microwave etc. Constant hot water. The dining area is next to the kitchen and has beautiful views to the gardens.
The large double bedroom has a comfortable double bed with all linen and towels provided, bedroom furniture, hairdryer. The bedroom has en suite bathroom with power shower ideal for use after a day exploring the island, constant hot water supply, towels provided.
The log cabin is well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The cabin is situated only a few minutes drive away from a typical Canarian village with everything you shall need while enjoying your stay. You will find many shops including: Bakery, Supermarket, Pharmacy, ATM etc.. Also, many local eating places, including "Guachinches" which sell local wine alongside traditional dishes at reasonable prices.

The log cabin is a perfect base to explore stunning North Tenerife. Tucked away in the vineyards and orchards you awake to beautiful bird song. The cabin is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Take your morning coffee on the patio in the private garden area and look out over Puerto de la Cruz taking in the amazing views. Spend the day discovering the Tenerife National Park and the breath taking Mount Teide or explore the cobblestone paths in La Orotava and historic buildings. In the evening time eat out at a local "guachinche" where you can eat delicious traditional food and drink local wine - amazingly cheap. Catherine and Kevin are excellent hosts and can tell you the best places to go. We can't wait to go back!
This was our second stay at this Log Cabin and we enjoyed it even more than the first time.Traveled around visiting all the popular walking areas and sites,some that we visited last time but was nice to see them again.We do enjoy staying here because we like to go to the village in the evening and sample the good local food and especially the local Vino Tinto.Cath And Kevin are a very friendly and helpful couple and will always give good advice and tips on places to eat and visit around the La Orotava Valley...If you like to walk and site see this is the place... Hope to get back next year..... Muchas Gracias X
loved staying in the log cabin. the views of Puerto del la Cruz were amazing. accommodation was very clean & modern. washing machine, cooker, microwave fridge. a quick dip in the hot tub on a lovely summer evening to cool down. the hosts could not do enough for you. advised of the quiet beaches in the north. You would not know they where there. car is essential. well worth a visit. also they have 2 cottages which are also to high standard. already booked for next year.
