Overview

This apartment is in the popular town of La Cala de Mijas and has panoramic sea views of the Costa del Sol. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large lounge and dining area , a fully fitted kitchen and a wrap around terrace for all day sun bathing.

The lounge has comfortable seating for 6, a dining suite for 6 and a flat screen tv for your enjoyment.

The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven , fridge freezer and lots of crockery, pot and pans and
utensils. There is a washing machine , iron and ironing board for your use.

The master suite has a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom. The other two twin bedrooms share a bathroom with a walk in shower.

The wrap around terrace is well furnished with dining table and chairs for your alfresco dining.

The urbanization has two pools and a children’s pool and playground for your use.

La Cala de Mijas is popular for those who want a relaxing holiday yet close enough to walk to all facilities. The beach is a 10 minute stroll. There is a Lidl supermarket beside the urbanization offering incredible value for money. You don’t even need a car, transfers from Malaga airport are reasonable and the main bus stop is outside the urbanisation. You can go to Fuengirola or Malaga on the frequent bus service and from Fuengirola there is a train every 30 mins for just over €3 to the airport. For those of you who enjoy a short stroll, the market is only 10 minutes away on Wednesday and Saturday and you can pick up all your fruit and veg straight from the farmers stalls.

The local restaurants offer the catch of the day from the fishing boats which go out early morning and supply the “chiringuitos” along the beach. There are bars and restaurants in the commercial area beside the apartments, There are various restaurants and bars to suit all tastes, La Cala does not have a strip of high rise hotels and has retained the charm of the little fishing village it once was. You can meet the locals and enjoy their traditional “menu del dia” or workers lunch, 3 courses plus bread and wine for as little as €10.

One of the best known snack bars on the Costa del Sol “Snack Attack” is open from 07.30 for breakfast, lunch and snacks, In La Cala there are some great bars and restaurants from the Glitzy Olivias La Cala to typical Spanish in Venta La Sorroche . The large supermarkets are within walking distance and the beach is only a short stroll away. The area is very flat so it’s perfect for people who have difficulty with steps and hills.

This apartment is in a village near the beach. It has a shared pool, a balcony, a children pool area and a sea view. Car hire is not necessary as the apartment is less than a 15 minute walk to a large selection of shops, bars, restaurants; however parking is not available.
