Great Location - 3 Bedroom Apartment - La Cala De Mijas

This three bed apartment is in a popular urbanization Cala Azul. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The lounge diner leads onto the large terrace.  The terrace is south facing and is a great place for Alfresco Dining. The lounge has a comfortable sofa , flat screen tv and a dining area . The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay with an oven, fridge freezer and microwave.

The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom . There are two extra bedrooms and a bathroom with a walk in shower.

The urbanisation has two pool areas and children pools which are set in well maintained community gardens.

La Cala de Mijas is popular for those who want a relaxing holiday and the complex is close enough to walk to all facilities. There is a Lidl supermarket beside the urbanization offering incredible value for money and you will find and bars and restaurants close to the apartment in Jardin Botanico. You will find International Cuisine Restaurants and Spanish and English Cafeterias. There is the wonderful La Bodequita with its large selection of Wine, Gin and Whisky along with Bar Tuta where they have weekly quizzes. The beach is only a few minutes away and the village of La Cala de Mijas is only a short walk were you will find further supermarkets and restaurants to cover all budgets and tastes.

The village of La Cala de Mijas has a market which is only 10 minutes away on Wednesday and Saturday and you can pick up all your fruit and veg straight from the farmers stalls as well as Spanish Pottery, Clothes, Shoes and so much more. The Senda Litoral runs from the center of La Cala to Capopino, you can walk along the boardwalk to beyond Cabopino, beside the sparkling Mediterranean Sea, stopping at the many Chiringuitos along the way for a bite to eat or refreshing drink.

For the golfers, there is the 9 hole La Noria, a 5 minutes walk away, or Santana Golf Club and the well known La Cala Resort are a ten minute drive away.

You don’t even need a car for your stay if you are not going to be exploring, transfers from Malaga airport are reasonable and the main bus stop is outside the urbanization heading to Marbella. You can go to Fuengirola or Malaga on the frequent bus service and from Fuengirola there is a train every 30 mins to the airport and beyond into Malaga City.

For those wishing to explore further afield without a car the local resort office of La Cala Blue have excursions including to Gibraltar, Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba and The Caminito del Rey.
