Casa En Chorruelo

From the moment we arrived at Casa En Chorruelo, we knew we had found heaven!

The front door opens into a light and airy lounge with two comfortable sofa and a lovely traditional dining table and chairs. The simple chimney breast and inset fire makes a lovely centrepiece to the tasteful decor, and two patio doors open out onto the quiet street below. On this level there is the smallest of the three bedrooms and a second toilet with washbasin.

The kitchen is extremely well equipped - cannot think of a single thing we missed, from all shapes and sizes of glasses, to a good selection of plates, cutlery, bowls and dishes. There was a microwave, big fridge/freezer and washing machine plus plenty of cleaning utensils under the sink.

Upstairs, there is a lovely twin bedroom with mountain views, again with patio doors overlooking the street and a pretty church. On this floor an immaculate bathroom with walk in shower also excelled itself! The double bedroom caught the morning sun, and leads out again through patio doors to a small balcony which was idyllic for breakfast. The views down the valley to Nerja and the sea in one direction and across the shimmering mountains in the other. Both have full wall wardrobes (and hairdryers - thanks Steve!).

A few steps up from this balcony, and you find yourself on a beautiful sunny patio with sunbeds, and a lovely tiled table with six chairs. There was a barbecue, which we would definitely use another time (it was November and a bit cooler in the evenings). Again, the views are magnificent (and we live on the Isle of Skye!).

We love eating out on holiday, and Frigilana doesn’t disappoint. There is a maze of restaurants hidden away in the cobbled streets of the old town, some within just two to five minutes walk, and plenty more as you wind your way down to the village square.

All in all, we would thoroughly recommend Casa En Chuerreulo even though we don't really want to share this gem it with anyone else!

we thought the apartment was lovely, the views over the rear terrace are stunning, and the terrace catches the sun for most of the day. also it is very well equipped. the village of frigiliana is beautiful and we hope to go again.

As it was an unusualcold period , it was not easy to warm up the house.

We missed a coffee machine

But overall : very good and nice apartement

I was renting " Casa en Chorruelo" to members of my familie.
They did all anjoy the place and want to come back again.
The home of Steve Morley is excellent for several people. Its location is great and the view over the valley to the ocean is stunning.
All rooms are keept clean and have a nice size.

An excellent apartment with everything you need for your holiday, super terraces with great views, plenty of space.

The apartment was very clean and tastefully decorated. The owner was very prompt and cordial in responding to any concerns I had prior to booking the property. The extras of helpful information about the area were appreciated. Good value for the money. The views off the balcony were amazingly beautiful. A great holiday!
