We stayed here for 10 days. The kids loved the pool and were in it most days. The villa was really clean and well equipped. There were some inflatables the kids used in the pool. Plenty of towels and beds were comfortable. It was really hot while we were there so the Air Con was a god send. The villa is located on the side of a large hill / mountain so there are no beaches within walking distance. The nearest is down a long steep path and is stoney. The closest sandy beach was unbelievabley busy. We had to go 40 minutes north until we found a beach that wasn't rammed. A car is essential as the complex the villa is located in is just villas. There are no shops, restaurants within walking distance we could find. Closest shop was 10 minutes drive which was fine but without a car you'd not get to the villa or be able to do much. Overall the area was nice we had a lovely 10 days.

A fabulous apartment with a great swimming pool. We had a lovely time. Our only issue was with the speed of the internet which was dreadfully slow at times. The TV ran off that so it constantly buffered. My mobile internet was a bit better but not much. You are very high up.
Overall a great villa and we really enjoyed our time there.

Just back from a wonderful 16 days stay at the villa. Great location at the top of the hill. (Car is a must) swimming pool was great with both sun and shade available when wanted. Fresh lemons were picked from the rear garden for use in our drinks. There are plenty of quality towels included in the villa. The washing machine and dishwasher are so handy. Air con was great to chill the villa when needed. Usually and nice breeze each day as you are high up the hill and also no flies which is even better.
Our host waited for us even thou we were late arriving and even organised a welcome basket as they knew the shops would be closed when we got their.
There is a great book in the villa that gives you loads of details of the surrounding areas and things to do. This was our 4th trip to the Moraira area and it was brilliant as always. The Internet works well via WiFi that the villa has and also we got 4g on our phones. All in all a great experience.

We spent weeks searching for a villa where we could have a week of peace and quiet, not be isolated but yet not overlooked or disturbed at the same time. After reading the reviews we settled on 79 lirios... and it was perfect. It is a beautiful villa, very well maintained, with an amazing enclosed pool. We were met by Andy and Jacqui who told us all we need to know, the bed was very comfortable (which matters!) and the villa has everything you would need. The scenery is out of this world and the whole journey from Alicante to the villa is just breathtaking!! (Especially the Cumbre!!) Ian has put a LOT of work into a handwritten guide book to the property and also the area which is a first class read - please take time to read it it is packed with information. We recommend visiting Moraira it is beautiful. Although you staying up a mountain there are plenty of shops at the bottom - Mercadona, Aldi, Carrefour, petrol station and an 'El Corte Chino' which is like having Amazon/Temu etc. laid out in a huge store in front of you. You'll find quite a few of these in Spain they've got EVERYTHING!!!.
But a special mention again about the pool/pool area it is fantastic, clean well maintained and you will not want to get out! The sun seemed to have it like a warm bath by lunchtime. All in all don't hesitate - if you are reading this, just book it. But.... one thing I will mention you WILL need a car, remember you are staying up a mountain. Thank you Ian, Andy and Jacqui.

Second time at this villa and another relaxing and amazing family holiday. I’ve recommended here to friends, it’s lovely. 1 hour from ALC. You can definitely book this villa with confidence. The Mullen family - Scotland.

Our stay at 79 Lirios was great. Firstly, don't panic - it is there. Just because you can't see it on google streetview (it only goes as far as the adjacent road), the villa does exist. The location is excellent. Whilst there are lots of other villas around there - 79 Lirios itself is not overlooked. It is up a mountain road to get there, for which the views are amazing, but once you get up there on the very well laid out roads (everywhere is a proper road network so no worries about driving up/down to the villa as there's plenty of room) you'll soon get your bearings.
Communication with the villa owner Ian was easy - he replied quickly through the Clickstay app to any questions prior to arrival, then on arrival we were met by the housekeepers, Andy & Jacqui (they have their own villa not too far away, which is good to know). They showed us around the villa, gave us some useful tips and then left us to it, so villa completely to ourselves.
Parking is easy, there is a (steep-ish) drive to get a couple of cars on if you need to. In the villa itself, everything that you need is there - pretty much as described in the listing. The only difference we noticed was they layout appears different to how we imagined it from the pictures - the balcony with the awning and seating is actually at the front of the property looking towards the sea (which you can see from certain angles), not at the rear as we envisaged it. The road it looks towards is very quiet, a good 15-20 metres away from the villa and obscured by the olive trees, so no worries about the odd person who walks/drives past gawping at you. Myself and the wife had coffee and croissants out there every morning under the awning.
The villa itself was perfect for us, 2 adults and 2 young kids (9 & 13). We had a double bedroom with secure doors that open out towards the balcony/pool area and had en-suite bathroom with a good shower. Kids room only a short distance away with x2 single beds and a secure but open-able window - however you won't need to open any windows as there is aircon in all rooms which is very much needed in the height of summer. There is also a bathroom with shower next to the kids room. Kitchen facilities ideal for any family, as were the laundry facilities (a separate room) and entertainment (smart tv with apps and good wifi).
On to the pool - which was perfect and was the main focus of our holiday. Pool is just a few metres away from the villa, so you can hear/see everything that is going on if you're in the villa, but far enough away not to be disturbed by it if you want to cool down away from the pool. There are sunbeds around the pool as well as an 8-place dining table. A lovely big parasol for shade and the pool itself is perfect size, although just to be aware, it goes from 1 metre at the shallow end, to over 2 metres at the deep end and the slope is very acute, which takes you by surprise initially but you soon get used to it. Pool is very clean (also a pool cleaner comes in weekly) and has lighting on a timer for night swimming which the kids loved.
Lots of things to do in the surrounding towns - which the guides in the villa give you lots of details for. We tended to stick to Moraira as we didn't want to venture too far and be driving lots, but there are loads of things not too far away if you're happy to travel that bit further.
Overall a thoroughly lovely relaxing 10 days in 79 Lirios, so thanks Ian, Andy & Jacqui!!

When I get off the plane, with that sudden blast of heat, I can’t wait to drive past the rugged landscape of small mountains on the way to the stunning turquoise sea. Every time I go to the villa I feel as though the whole world has slowed down and I’m now on Spanish time. There are loads of things to do close by, or you can simply do nothing by your own private pool in an arched courtyard. Enjoy.
