Overview
Welcome to Villa La Zorzalera – a unique place for an unforgettable holiday with family or friends. This beautiful villa is located just outside the charming hamlet of Los Ventorros and only a five-minute drive from the picturesque whitewashed village of Comares, which has been awarded the title of ‘Pueblo Mágico de España.’ Villa La Zorzalera combines peace, space, and nature, surrounded by olive and almond groves, while being just a short walk away from authentic Andalusian bars and restaurants.
Our villa is the perfect place to completely unwind with loved ones, far from the stresses of daily life. Nestled in the heart of nature, Villa La Zorzalera is a peaceful haven in one of the most beautiful parts of Andalusia. This quiet, natural setting makes it ideal for nature lovers and those who wish to relax, savor life’s simple pleasures, and enjoy quality time with the people who matter most. It’s a tranquil destination, not suited for loud parties, but perfect for those who appreciate silence and the beauty of the countryside.
Villa La Zorzalera is thoughtfully arranged to offer both communal spaces and privacy, even when visiting as a group. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped, and the villa has two cozy lounges with beamed ceilings and an open fireplace, three bathrooms, three comfortable bedrooms, and a charming chill-out lounge with a balcony on the first floor. Outdoors, you’ll find a sunny terrace with a three-meter diameter plunge pool, barbecue, sun loungers, garden furniture, and of course, breathtaking views of the surrounding olive and almond groves.
In the immediate vicinity of the villa, you can take beautiful countryside walks and even pick fresh fruit from nearby trees. Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, or simply relaxing – everything you need for a perfect holiday is here. For a bit of local flavor, take a short walk to Los Ventorros for a meal or enjoy a weekend performance. Just 3.5 kilometers away is the lovely village of Comares, where you’ll find a supermarket, bakery (with wood-fired bread!), pharmacy, bank, ATM, doctor’s office, and several friendly bars and restaurants. There’s also a sports field and a free padel court. Comares boasts Spain’s longest zipline and several exciting via ferratas for adventurers. Known for its unique setting, Comares is often called the ‘pearl of the Axarquía.’ Follow the ceramic footprints through its narrow streets, soak up its Moorish history, and don’t forget to stop at one of the cozy bars along the way.
If you’re in the mood for a beach day, the award-winning shores of Torre Del Mar are just a 45-minute drive away. Here, you can enjoy freshly grilled fish at one of the many beachside “chiringuitos” and spend a day by the sea. Villa La Zorzalera is ideally located for day trips to Andalusia’s highlights: Málaga, the culinary gem of the Costa del Sol, Córdoba with its magnificent Mezquita, Granada with the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada, or the stunning Caminito del Rey in Ardales. Closer to home, explore the caves of Nerja, famous for their beauty, or unwind by Lake Viñuela. For those who enjoy shopping, the commercial center of Vélez-Málaga, with a range of well-known supermarkets, is just a 30-minute drive away.
Villa La Zorzalera offers you a unique holiday, away from the usual tourist paths. The overwhelming beauty of nature here invites you to relax and savor the good life. If you’re looking for a holiday with family or friends, in a special setting surrounded by almond and olive groves with stunning mountain views, but still close to restaurants and shops, our villa may be the ideal holiday home for you.
Welcome to Villa La Zorzalera! We look forward to making your stay unforgettable.

Hello, I am Lola. I live in Malaga with my dear partner Nacho but we also have a second home near the beautiful whitewashed village of Comares. One day while we were hiking we saw that La Zorzalera was for sale. We went to have a look at it, fell immediately in love with it and decided to buy it. We have worked very hard to restore a more than hundred year old house into what we think is a holidayparadise for groups and families. We are very proud about it and hope to see you very soon in La Zorzalera.
