Loft apartment in Valencia Spain for 2 persons with rooftop terrace with sea view. It has short connections by bike, trams, and buses to the centre of Valencia.
The loft Reina 1 is in Calle de la Reina in El Cabanyal, a great neighbourhood, with characteristic houses with coloured facades and many affordable good restaurants. The wide and clean sandy beach is only 6 minutes walking. El Cabanyal is the new hotspot of Valencia.
The neighbourhood, the beach, the boulevard, and the old harbour make it an attractive place to stay for a workation, for holidaymakers, sun lovers in winter and digital nomads (the desk is available, and a computer monitor is on request).
The large rooftop terrace of 145m2 has an outdoor shower, several sitting areas, two picnic tables and sunbeds. From the terrace, you see the beach and the sea.
The loft Reina 1 is one of three apartments of Tres Reinas Valencia Apartments all on the first floor of a completely renovated, protected building (1929) of which many elements of the original architecture were preserved. Reina 3 has 2 bedrooms and a large living, Reina 2 is an apartment for 2/3 persons.
The lofty ceilings, large high windows, high doors, white stucco, partly raw brick walls, the refined indirect lighting create a beautiful ambience.
The apartment is sustainable due to the application of an air source heat pump for cooling, heating and hot water supply, the reuse of the residual heat from the shower and the use of plenty of natural light through skylights.
The apartment has air conditioning (cooling and heating), a water softening system, a fully equipped kitchen, and a luxurious bathroom with a double sink and a spacious shower.
The double bed is 200*180 cm, which is ‘Grande’ especially by Spanish standards. The mattresses are of 5-star hotel quality.
The furnishings, equipment, glasses, pottery, and cutlery are of high quality and mainly of Spanish manufacture. The decor has a mix of vintage furniture, decorations from local workshops and trendy shops.
The loft sleeping and sitting areas are integrated; the sitting area has two comfortable chairs, a dining table with 2 chairs and a smart TV.

What a wonderful week we had! Beautiful, comfortable apartment, great terrace with sea views and two great hostess, Erik & Silvia. Everything is within easy reach; the beach, restaurants, shops, the ‘mercado’ and the nice bars. The old town is easy to reach by bike or public transport, so there are plenty of opportunities to explore Valencia and enjoy this wonderful city. But we also liked to just stay in the apartment, and certainly on the roof terrace. A spectacular place, nice seats, lots of space and a top view. We will be back soon!
Nice place in a nice old neighborhood near the beach and not far away from the city center. Many good eateries nearby.

In our search for our own apartment, we, Erik and Silvia, quickly chose the El Cabanyal district because of the beach, the cosy neighbourhood, the good restaurants, and the short, fast connections to the centre. In 2019 we bought the 1st floor and the rooftop of the ideal building with a wide view and a view of the beach. Together with the Valencian architect Jose Manuel Barrera and the construction company, we have restored the exterior of the listed modernist building (1929) to its original state. The inside has been changed into three apartments while retaining authentic elements such as the lofty ceilings. Our personal preferences are reflected in the mix of local vintage, modern design, and standard furniture. And all this with attention to sustainability and the comfort of long and wide beds with high-quality mattresses. We call the three apartments Tres Reinas – Three Queens – because these palatial apartments are located on the main street Calle de la Reina and we have three more queens: our daughters. After years of construction, we spend as much time as possible in our apartments. And we like to share it with family, friends and anyone who appreciates quality and luxury.
