This fabulous villa is located on the golfing development of Costa Esuri, has five bedrooms most with en-suite facilities and sits on a plot of more than 1,000 sq. meters with a private pool and landscaped gardens. the villa is fully air conditioned with heating for the cooler months. Cleverly designed to make the most of the spectacular views, the villa is built on a sloping plot with the entrance level in the middle of the property.

Electric gates open from the road to the front of the villa where there is ample parking for 2 cars and a long drive to the right of the house. Decorative wrought iron gates open from the porch to an internal Andalusian courtyard complete with fountain.

The Villa has 3 floors - the ground floor for cooking and dining in or out on the terrace and also two of the 5 bedrooms. The upper floor has the Master Bedroom and lounge with accompanying terrace which leads to the roof top terrace. The lower ground floor is ideal for the younger members of the families, with two twin bedrooms, a games room and a small lounge with TV, and access to the gardens and pool. A large Smart TV is also available in this part of the villa. We have a regular schedule of refurbishment to keep the Villa fresh looking as possible

Bedroom 3 is off this courtyard and has twin beds, large wardrobes and an en suite shower room. From the courtyard the front door leads into the light and airy entrance hall from where stairs lead up to the first floor.

Bedroom two is just off the main entrance hall and has a king size bed, ample wardrobe space and an en suite shower room. The large, well equipped kitchen and a spacious open plan dining room with a large table and 10 dining chairs are also on this entry level. Patio doors from both the kitchen and dining room lead onto a feature of the property, a large covered terrace (35 sq mtrs). Here there is dining furniture for 10 so you can make the most of the beautiful views over the countryside when dining al fresco.

Stairs from the hallway lead down to the lower ground floor hall where there are a further two bedrooms each with twin beds and a large shower room. There is also a second lounge (25 sq mtrs) with sofas, TV, DVD player etc and patio doors giving direct access to the lower gardens and swimming pool. From the lower hallway there is a separate enormous games room (41 sq mtrs) with something for everyone. There is a large pool table, tennis table, games etc. to keep the young and young at heart busy whatever the weather!

The stair case up to the first floor leads to a galleried landing from where the very generously proportioned master bedroom suite is located. This room is very light and airy and has huge built in wardrobes offering ample storage space. There is a full sized en suite bathroom with a bath and shower over, two basins, WC and bidet. There is a large king size leather bed in this room, bedside tables and a dressing table. From the landing is an additional cloakroom. The lounge is also on this level to take advantage of the elevated views. It is a lovely light and spacious room and has a fireplace for the winter months. There are 2 large sofas and a modern chaise longue. For your entertainment there is a large plasma TV, DVD etc and freeview channels and Spanish TV. Three sets of patio doors lead out to the large open terrace where there is more modern, comfortable seating and ever more beautiful views of the Guadiana River and across to Portugal. A winding staircase leads from the terrace to an upper rooftop terrace with a covered area and panoramic views.

Steps lead down to the lower level of the garden where you will find a lovely swimming pool with outdoor shower and sun loungers, Pool Terrace, Pergola, lawn and gardens - stocked with succulents, tropical plants and trees and citrus, - smells good and looks good so lie down and enjoy your surroundings in-between a cool dip in the pool.

On Costa Esuri there is a mini supermarket cafe/bar selling the essential groceries and daily fresh bread. You can sit outside and enjoy a coffee or a glass of beer. This is approximately 10 minutes walk from the villa. The golf club house with its bar, restaurant, driving range and pro shop, also has various activities and events throughout the year. The Golf Course has recently had its greens and tees resurfaced

The nearby border town of Ayamonte on the estuary (10 mins) will likely become a regular visit for you during your stay. It is delightful, bustling but traditional with fresh fish and produce markets, loads of restaurants, tapas bars and bars to enjoy - and boutique shops and attractions of course. Meander through the delightful pedestrianized streets and stop in one of the palm tree lined squares to watch the world go by.

The nearby IP 1 motorway which links Spain and Portugal should you want to pop into Portugal or visit Huelva, the provinces capital or Seville 90 mins away.. Low cost airlines fly to both Seville airport (90 mins drive away) and Faro airport (45mins drive away). Car hire form both airports is well organized and reasonably priced. Transfers can be arranged if required.
The nearest beach is at Isla Canela (Spain) or Praia Verde (Portugal) where you will be amazed at the beautiful wide golden sands.

All year round there is a go kart track in Cartaya (30 mins) and in high season there is also a water park to keep the young at heart amused. Huelva and La Rabida (approx 45 mins) offer history and a chance to discover about Christopher Columbus (Cristobal Colon).

Further afield: Further on is the National Park of Doñana where if you are very lucky you may spot the elusive Iberian Lynx. The whole area is fantastic for bird watching with many different species guaranteed.
Further afield into Portugal are the touristy delights of the central Algarve (1hr), Tavira (25 mins) and the nearest town of Villa Real de Santo Antonio (10 mins) along with lovely beaches and lots of golf courses. Faro airport is approximately 60km and Seville 130km.
Whether you want a family holiday, enjoy birdwatching or a you are a group of friends looking to play golf this is a beautiful villa that will tick all the right boxes. It is a perfect base for exploring this beautiful region and discovering the wealth of bird and wild life, gastronomy, history and culture that this region has to offer.

I bought the land and designed and built the Villa from scratch 12 years ago. I wanted it to feel and look Andalusian and take advantage of the stunning views across the Guadiana to Portugal. My location choice was always Andalusia but the part that is unspoilt and still not too commercialised. A big achievement and benefit. I also wanted plenty and variety of good golf courses with easy and good access to airport. Faro is 40 min drive! I also wanted to have a wrap around garden with lovely aromas and a place where I could enjoy and spend as much time as possible The land beyond the pool and garden is protected and will remain unspoilt so this is an added bonus. The north facing aspect means that whilst the garden and pool gets sun all day, I designed an area for shade from the villa in part of the garden. My plan is to retire then and spend time sitting out on one of the three terraces with a glass of wine enjoying the view, the garden and the pool. It feels like my second home and I aim to keep it that way - well kept and nice - so you get the benefit too I hope you enjoy the villa and location as much as we do Les
