Natuurvilla Malaga
Villa with 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and private pool in Alcaucín, Spain
From €3,946 per week
The spacious, luxurious villa, built in classic Andalusian style, is located at the end of a 600 meter private road. If you are looking for complete privacy this is the place to be.
Overview
Natuurvilla Malaga is a spacious, luxurious villa of 726m2 (with terraces 962 m2) located at the end of a 600 meter private road on a plot of more than 1 hectare (finca) in the Axarquia, the region known as La Huerta de Málaga or the vegetable garden of Málaga.
It is the area with the most hours of sunshine in the entire mainland of Europe (more than 3000).
Because the surrounding mountains provide a microclimate and the humidity is low, the summers in the Axarquia are significantly milder than, for example, in the region west of Málaga (Alhaurin, Mijas, Marbella) or on the coast.
Because the finca is also located at an altitude of 450 meters, it is almost never very hot.
The view of the Mediterranean Sea, the white villages, the beautiful valley with the Viñuela reservoir and the surrounding mountains of the Sierra Tejeda and the Montes de Malaga is breathtaking.
The only sound you hear on the finca is nature.
Just a few minutes by car (4 km) are two white villages with all amenities, from banks to healthcare, from supermarkets to nice restaurants.
In less than 30 minutes you can be on the beach of Torre del Mar and enjoy the sea, the restaurants and the beach bars (chiringuitos).
And if you want to visit one of the famous Andalusian cities: Malaga is 55 minutes drive away, Granada just over an hour, Ronda and Cordoba about 2 hours, and beautiful Seville 2.5 hours.

I came to the Axarquia for the first time 25 years ago and immediately fell in love with it. Wonderful micro-climate, fantastic views of the sea, mountains and the lake, in short, it was unbelievable that almost no one knew this paradise area. In 2003 I found a beautiful finca near 2 white villages with all amenities, but still in the middle of nature, and built my villa there. And I still live there most of the year. Although more foreigners have now discovered the Axarquia, it is still truly Spain and my house is still an oasis of peace where the only sound you hear is nature.
