The recently restored private holiday Villa Ambient is a synonym for „treasure“. Tucked away in the heart of Cristian village, Ambient Villa 5* offers privacy and luxury with all the conveniences of a full service hotel. The magnificent villa was built over 2 centuries ago by the Saxons and it was fully restored in 2010.
Situated in one of the best preserved medieval areas around Brasov, Cristian, a quiet place where history seems to have remained untouched by the rough brushes of modernism, Ambient Villa offers a five-star comfort in a turnkey accommodation unit which successfully renders the particularity of the area.

The Villa
The Ambient Villa offers privacy and luxury with all the conveniences of a full service hotel. With a total of 11 rooms, our villa can accomodate 12 persons in 6 bedrooms, one open-plan kitchen, one living room, one dining room with fireplace, a cellar, and a game room.

The six rooms, each furnished with double beds and each with en-suite bathrooms are pleasantly decorated in the Saxon old-style of this enchanting small town. The warm hues of the wood, the stone carvings, the beautifully coloured furniture and the embroidered bed-linen and drapes, as well as many other well chosen accessories make you feel as if you have just woken up from a time-machine journey... a long way back in time... but with all the amenities and facilities of the modern world at hand!

The richly appointed dining room, offering space for 22 people, promises moments of gastronomic delight, prepared either by yourselves or by a chef, upon request. The very long table in the middle, made of wood decorated with colourful floral patterns, together with the romantic fireplace seem to invite you to a grand feast, not just any ordinary dinner or lunch!

The Ambient Villas kitchen is fully equipped, it has oven, electric hob, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and everything you might need for a long stay!

Take a moment to unwind in the serenity of our indoor private swimming pool, have a blast splashing in the Jacuzzi or enjoy our sauna. Afterwards, the bar awaits you at the first floor with refreshing drinks and you can invite your friends to a game of pool or table tennis.

We are delighted to offer you a wide range of facilities, among which complimentary wireless Internet, private parking, heated indoor private swimming pool with jacuzzi, fully equipped kitchen, lunch or dinner with traditional dishes, especially hired bartender for organized parties, photo tours in the area, short trips to the main touristic attractions nearby (the fortress of Rasnov, the Bran Castle, etc) and also access to our Ambient Exclusive programme.
Moreover, as we are thorough supporters of the Eco cause, we have installed sun panels for our heating system.

We havent neglected the great outdoors either. The yard has an enchanting gazebo with a grill, situated right beside a small fairy-tale garden, with flowers, small trees and plants, and lovely sun chairs, where you can enjoy and feel the summer sun at its most!

And for those of you who wish to feel closer to the old life-style and traditions, our wine cellar will welcome you with a taste of the best wines of the area and with a traditional snack that will definitely delight your senses!

Location
Positioned between Brasov and Rasnov, at 20 kilometres from Bran, Cristian is a small town founded in the first part of the 13th century by the German colonists.

Nowadays, time seems to have stopped here, because here, you can still breathe history and tradition everywhere you go! The clean narrow streets, with old Saxon Style houses (some of which have been declared architectonical monuments) with beautiful and carefully decorated gardens create a unique atmosphere, which will fill a visitors heart with joy and tranquility.

From Cristian, you can easily reach Rasnov, where you can visit the fortress on top of the hill, and dont miss Bran, with the Bran Castle and the great variety of attractions that it offers.

Cristian is only 9 km away from Brasov, one of the most cherished cities in Romania and a perfect destination for tourists world-wide, both in the summer and winter. It makes a peaceful alternative to the busy tourist attractions from Bran or Moeciu and the jostling of the summer crowds.
