Villa Bonita, Vilamoura, With Pool Heat

We were met by the agent who showed us around and helped us to get our bearings on the map. She was more than helpful and very friendly. The Villa itself had 4 good sized bedrooms, a large lounge with a bar area, kitchen, dining room and a great pool! We spent most of our time outside as the weather was great and the garden was huge. Enough space to place frisbee and cricket! The pool was heated (on request) and was where we spent most afternoons. The villa is in a good location and about a 10 min drive away from vilamoura where there are shops, bars & restaurants etc and 20 mins from Vale Do Lobo (fancier bars/restaurants). A taxi to vilamoura was approx 10€ and about 23€ to Vale Do Lobo. The only things that could be better (I'm being very picky with this) is the pool had no net so we couldn't really clean the leaves out. Also the sun loungers around the pool were on their last legs. 1 of them completely broke and another 2 very uncomfortable due to the fabric being so worn and ripped. Fantastic propertyquizzie Dublin Review Submitted: October 11, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009 I stayed 8 nights in this beautiful villa at the end of August. The 4 bedrooms were extremely comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathrooms were clean and have been fitted with really good showers, just what you need at the end of a hot day. Loved the open-plan style of the living area and thought the bar was a great touch on the owner's part. Thought the house had a nice authentic Portuguese feel to it, while still being comfortable. The gardens are fabulous, with plenty of trees for shade but loads of room to spread out and get some sun as well. The pool is a good size and we had a lot of fun with the slide and diving board! The area is very peaceful so the garden feels like a real haven to relax in. In terms of the location, the house is in a quiet area but we were only 5 minutes from the main hub of the marina by car. I'd recommend a car to anyone coming to Vilamoura for ease of getting up and down to the beaches but also for exploring the coastline of the Algarve which is really beautiful. In the evenings we ate down at the marina few times and a taxi home was only 8 euro (much cheaper than Dublin!). Overall we had a really excellent stay in this property and would recommend it to anyone looking for a self-catering holiday in Vilamoura. Will definitely be coming back.

Girls Getaway 2009JenJen Dublin, Ireland Review Submitted: October 11, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009 The villa itself is beautiful, clean and spacious it could easily accomodate 8 people. The property is surrounded by a large garden with a well-maintained swimming pool (with a diving board and slide). Other property facilities include a modern kitchen, satellite television, a lovely roof terrace, a BBQ and outdoor furniture. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and anyone who is looking for a fun and relaxing holiday. The villa is on a quiet road just 5 minutes drive from the Vilamoura Marina. The marina offers a range of shops, good restaurants, beatiful beaches and many adventure/water activities. At night the marina comes alive with fun activities, a great atmosphere and is very family friendly. For adults there is lots of entertainment, a casino, clubs, restaurants/bars with singers, bands and karaoke into the early hours of the morning. . Rating5 out of 5

It was beautifully decorated and very close to the marina where there were lots of restaurants, bars and shops. The house and pool were extremely well maintained and very clean. The house was equipped to a very high standard with everything you could possibly need. The garden is secluded with lots of places to relax, either by the pool or in the shade on one of the many chairs placed around the garden. This was my first trip to portugal and it was fabulous, the house was amazing and I would definately stay here again. The owners were extremely helfpful and friendly and I would definately reccommend this property to friends and family. 5 out of 5

Review Submitted: October 20, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009 received an offer for a late booking for a house in Vilamoura. The house is Villa Bonita and I was very glad I took the offer, it was exactly what I needed. Great garden, great pool, great weather, kick back and relax! The house is very well decorated and comfortable and had every thing we needed.Everything works. The idea of the open bar is a good one and was very well received. We ate mostly at the Marina restaurants, because we were only there for a week it was more practical to eat out although the house has all the facilities for self catering. We did however buy coffee grounds and make fresh americanos to start our day, with the excellent little coffee machine in the kitchen. I am looking forward to returning again in November with some golfing friends. Well done! John

Ralph IT was marvelous stayed in the Vila Bonita, we love everything, home and the garden's so pretty, pity that we had few days. I am going to come back other times. Pity that in the start of October it is rented, because I will have a holiday prolonged here in Lisbon, would be an opportunity for we will come back, more stayed for the year that comes.
