TOURIST TAX
We are required to charge a Municipal Tourist Tax on behalf of Loulé council, on bookings placed as from November 1st, 2024, as published in Diário da República 2nd Serie, no. 140, of July 22nd, 2024.
This tax is calculated up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights, per person aged 16 or over, and will cost as follows:
- Low Season (from November 1st to March 31st) – 1Eur per person/per night
- High Season (from April 1st to October 31st) – 2Eur per person/per night
The payment of this tax is due in cash upon check-in, or in advance by bank transfer.

Clean and well located property with the local beach and marina being within 5 minutes drive away.
The villa is well equipped although in line with a previous review we found the double bed to be very hard and uncomfortable.
Outside the pool is a nice size and the garden is well kept. We did think that outside mattresses for the sun beds would have made an improvement as this is the first villa that we have stayed in for over 15 years where these haven’t been supplied. Overall the experience with Vilamoura villas was a good one and the team are attentive to help out if required.

Thank you very much for your feedback.
Please allow us to inform to explain about the sunbeds in this house. These are the type of sun bed with tubular metallic structure with a stretched net on top. They do not require mattress such as the traditional plastic ones. Also, they are more durable and allow maintenance, such as replace the top net when is old or damaged.

Please please get new double bed and bedding that fits it's like sleeping on the floor
A larger television would be a bonus for such a large room.
Advance warning of 40 euro charge for wifi would be good.

Thank you very much for your comments.
As informed with our exchanged emails, this house is already equipped with wi-fi internet. You did not had to pay extra for this. I'm sure there is some sort of misunderstanding here. While in the house, you just need to find the respective house network (most probably your devices will only discover that one) and insert the respective password, which is always on a sticker underneath the router. Any doubts a quick phone call or email would be enough.
We agree with a larger TV as a matter of personal opinion. But I must say this house is equipped with a new LCD with all the needed connections and suitable to the distance from where the viewer will be seated and watching TV.
Regarding the beds and pillows, we perfectly understand, but we also ask you to kindly understand that this is a subject that varies according to each ones tastes. Regarding the sheets being to small for the bed, this was already taken care of.

The villa as usual was outstanding and we enjoyed our stay very much. The villa was well maintained and the gardeners, pool maintenance men and cleaners did a fabulous job. Very friendly and courteous service all around. All of the villas we've stayed in have been in lovely quiet locations bit still close to local amenities. My son is autistic but vilamoura villas provide villas that are very safe in terms of security and this is important to us to have a relaxing holiday. This can be hard to achieve with a special needs child but vilamoura villas cater very well to our needs so we can have a very relaxing holiday. I will definitely be returning to vilamoura and always insist on using Vilamoura Villas as their service is outstanding. I returned home today but will like to give a big thank you to Vilamoura Villas x

We had a fantastic holiday and loved having the space to relax. There is ample room in the villa and it was much larger than we expected so great for our family. The villa is not as close to the centre as we thought and is not walkable but there is a great taxi service and a bar/eating place only a few minutes walk away. The pool area was very well kept and very quiet with a large pool which our kids loved. Paulo the owner was extremely helpful and made the visit easy. Only recommendations for improvement were better wifi, addition of air con and table/chairs/light for lovely balcony area. Otherwise everything was very positive and we would definitely go back.
