Located near Gale, this modern 1 bedroom bungalow style apartment sleeps 4 adults plus a baby. The apartment is well furnished with a twin bedroom, and lounge having a full size sofa bed with fully sprung mattress. Both have patio doors on to a private sunny terrace and garden with dining table, chairs and sun loungers. There is a separate fully equipped kitchen. A safe is provided. There is a selection of books and games. Internet is included.

Condominium
Casa Rachael is situated in a peaceful residential area within a small private condominium of 8 apartments, with garden and pool area with 2 pools (1 childrens). There are poolside shower/toilets/changing facilities. The main pool is 15 metres x 7.25 metres. Both the garden and pool area are fenced and gated. There is a barbecue area. Sunloungers for 4 are provided together with comfortable patio chairs. As this is a quiet area we request that the quiet hours of 22.00 - 07.00 are respected, along with the privacy of other residents.

Location
The beautiful sandy beaches of Castelo and Evaristo are within a 10 minute walk, and the long sandy Gale beach is 1.5 km away. There are a variety of good restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The nearest supermarket is 0.8km and there is also a small shop for basics 3 minutes walk away. The local bus stop is close by, should you wish to visit Albufeira (3.5km) with its varied nightlife and interesting Old Town or, local taxis are inexpensive. The nearest golf course is Salgados 2.5 km away, and there are 15+ golf courses within a 30 minute drive.
The area is ideal for families, couples and golfers looking for a relaxing break.

Please note there is tourist tax of 2€ per person per night (over 13 years of age) payable April to October to a maximum of 14€ per person payable direct to Albufeira Council. This is none refundable. Details of how to pay this will be forwarded after booking, and should be paid at least 7 days prior to your stay, when arrival details will be forwarded.

The apartment was just right for a lovely relaxed holiday. We arrived in February and it was fine weather during the daytime but, at night, bitterly cold. We had been promised two heaters (one, a gas fired heater in the living room - not to be used in the bedroom), and a second, an oil filled electric radiator which could be placed in any of the rooms. On arrival, we discovered that there was only the gas fire. After communicating this with the owner, we purchased an oil filled electric radiator which the owner has agreed to refund us for.
We were there for an extended time and had only a few minor issues which the owner very promptly resolve for us. We would return to this apartment.

The villa was spacious and well equipped. Very clean and although only a 10 day stay had a mid stay change of linen which was great. Pool area spotless and well kept. Val the owner very helpful and answered any queries and supplied lots of useful information regarding the surrounding area. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope to return next year.

We had a lovely time in this beautiful location. The apartment was spacious and really felt like a home from home. At some times we were on our own around the pool otherwise we just shared with a lovely family who made us very welcome (they even made my son birthday cakes).

The actual location is ideal as you are very close to a number of small bars and restaurants and only a few minutes away from the town but far enough away from any noise to feel very relaxed.

I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday.

Everything about this rental was perfect, theres nothing nicer than a new build, sharing the pool with no one but ghosts was excellent and so easy to get to the local beaches and nightlife. Even the close by building work was silent, though how we have no idea.

Would recommend to anyone and is an excellent stay!!!

A fantastic Bungalow with well thought through fixtures and fittings in a secluded development of 8 apartments with a fab pool, well worth the visit and I have no doubt we will return many times to come. The owners have taken great "pains" to ensure all is well presented.

Excellent and will be booking for 2014. John and his family have thought of everything. The bungalow is immaculate and well equipped and the communal areas are superb. Excellent location. Quiet and relaxing. A perfect location for a relaxing and chilled out holiday. Highly recommended, and am very picky! the photos do not do the bungalow justice. Casa Rachael was excellent. The owners have tried to think of everything. The apartment has all the comforts of home, and even a few extra. The area has a lot of excellent restaurants. It is within easy walking distance to the beach, and for the energetic a walk down into Gale is no problem. The whole experience of the apartment was faultless, and the neighbours were top notch.
