Miguel is an amazing host! Very responsible and welcomed us with open arms. The home is in an excellent location - very close to the beach and the main strip with restaurants and shops. Very clean with all of the equipment you will need if you want to have some home meals. Cozy family space with a fire place. Overall, highly recommended!

Great location! Beach, grocery store and restaurants all within walking distance. We really enjoyed the house and all the terraces. The Dolphin restaurant is superb and only a short walk.

We had a wonderful stay at Miguel’s place in Luz. We would highly recommend this villa and it suited our party of 6 perfectly. We only wish we had stayed longer!

This villa was in a great location! Lovely view. Great restaurants. The kitchen was very well stocked and we felt right at home. Miguel was an amazing host! Very responsive and his instructions and info he shared was so helpful. Very organized.

This is a true 5 star review. First and foremost the property is in a perfect location with a great view of the beach. It is only a few minutes walk to the beach and some very good restaurants, cafes, bars and a grocery store. Secondly, Miguel is a fantastic host. He is responsive and gives great recommendations. We’ve already decided we would like to return to the property next year.

Staying at Miguel's place could not have been better. The view from the balcony is stunning and was the perfect place to begin each morning and end each day while we were there. There were six of us so we had a large van and found no problems parking along the street in the neighborhood. Everything is within close walking distance with plenty of great restaurants and bars to choose from. The town is mellow and easy to be in, and less than 15 minutes from the larger city of Lagos which made for quick and easy visits. It's the most restful and busy little beach town you could ask for. The locals are incredibly friendly as well. The neighborhood was peaceful and the house always had a lovely breeze moving through it. Miguel was highly responseful anytime I reached out with questions. And, even though he wasn't there he made us feel very welcome. I've stayed in many Airbnbs and would recommend Miguel's place without hesitation.

Miguel’s place was perfect. Close to the beach. Excellent out door living space. Beautiful wide view of the ocean. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Miguel was super easy to work with. They also had a very handy guide with helpful info. Well managed place! Thank you!

The home was gorgeous, everything seemed new, stylish, and they thought of every detail. The home was centrally located and close to beach and restaurants. Praia da Luz is centrally located to visit Sagres, Lagos and Salema. We loved our stay there. Miguel was extremely helpful, friendly and available at all times. We had a 10 out of 10 experience.

Our stay @ Miguel’s home was awesome. The apartment was perfect for our family, was in a great location - easily walkable to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc…. Luz is an awesome, quaint seaside village and Miguel’s home was a perfect home base. Thank so much for your hospitality - we would definitely stay here again. Villa Waterside was a perfect fit for our group! We loved the location being so close to the beach, with great choices in restaurants and bars nearby. We never had a problem finding a parking spot on the streets, and the grocery store is a short walk away for everything you might need. The villa itself was spotless and comfortable, and we were very grateful for the nice washing machine and quiet neighborhood. I was especially impressed with Miguel's virtual guidebook that has extremely clear and helpful information. He was always responsive to my questions and even helped me arrange massages with a very nice lady that came to the villa. We would definitely stay at Villa Waterside again!

Our family of 6 would absolutely stay here again! Beautiful property in a great location! We loved being able to walk to the beach and enjoyed the restaurants nearby. We ate many meals in the kitchen and appreciated the large fridge and nespresso machine. Thank you Miguel for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was a great experience. The location was perfect, situated with easy access to the beach and plenty of restaurants around the corner. The house itself was modern, well-maintained, and clean. This house is a great choice for families, with plenty of space and all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. Miguel, the host, was excellent - very easy to communicate with and always willing to help with any questions or requests we had. Overall, I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable stay in a beautiful location.

Wonderful place surrounded by other apartments and homes in a quality way. It’s the view from the veranda that sold us and we spend most time on. Two nice supermarkets near by and a wide range of bars and restaurants. Fortaleza Da Luz. A short walk is a must place to dine. It was just two of us and the luxury of having a home and not a hotel room was worth the price. As a Airbnb Superhost I understand hosting and I took some good notes to improve my own place. Obrigado!

This place was fantastic! Very relaxing and chill spot in the Algarve. Exactly as advertised.

Just incredible in every aspect. The pictures do not do this place justice. The view is breathtaking and the entire home is clean, modern and wonderfully designed. There were 5 of us staying there and it felt spacious and comfortable. Miguel was very responsive and friendly and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. We will be back for sure!

This place was an absolute paradise with picturesque views of the ocean, spacious rooms, and a fabulous terrace for lounging all within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. Our family of 4 enjoyed meals beachside, long walks on the promenade and hiking the cliff trail. Miguel and the entire staff was incredibly helpful and responsive with all of our questions and also provided a very useful visitors guide for our stay. We were here during the low season so many shops and restaurants were still closed but we had enough options to enjoy our brief stay, and we happily escaped dealing with crowds while still enjoying pleasant weather. We would definitely return here!

The best place to stay in Lagos / Luz! Our family of 6 adults thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay here. All 3 bedrooms are on the ground floor. All rooms have AC and black out blinds, with access to a patio. Upstairs is an open layout that flows from the kitchen all the way to the beautiful patio with ocean view. It’s a 40 minute drive to Lagos, and a 30 min drive to Sagres. The Fisherman’s hike is only a 15-20min walk away. Very close to two well stocked grocery stores, and multiple restaurants. We wished we could’ve stayed longer!

Location, location! Breathtaking views all days and 5 min walk to everything including stores, restaurants, public transportation. Oh and the beach is right down the street, everything is relatively close by. Miguel is the perfect host, super responsive and had a wonderful place! About a 10-15 min drive to Lagos where you can do all the cave and boat tours. Would 100% stay hear again.

Miguel is an amazing host with great knowledge of local area and helps you get whatever you need while your stay in Praia Da Luz. Our family really enjoyed meals on the terrace overlooking the ocean.His taste is really good. Cant wait to visit again. Really thankful to Miguel and team for making our stay a memorable one.

Magic!! Oh my goodness! Stay here! Our last morning I sat on the balcony looking out over the sea, listening to the birds and watching the sunrise. I didn’t want anything to ruin the moment. So serene!! If your goal is a lovely seaside vacation with a gorgeous view, a short walk to a fabulous beach, some tasty food and drinks a short walk away, stay here! The house is comfortable, clean, and home like… and the inside of the house doesn’t matter when you step on the balcony! The whole world fades away. The occasional laugh of a child or whiff of tasty cuisine is the only thing to remind you that you are in this world and not in heaven! If you want loud crowds, shops galore, or museums and many cafes, one would need to drive to a larger town, Lagos or further. In Lisbon people told us the Algarve was crowded and too touristed. We felt like we had the town all to ourselves and were only amidst a mix of internationals and locals. Each morning we would walk to breakfast and rent a beach palapa (20€) for the whole day. We bought a few beach towels as souvenirs. We were a family of three. The house would easily accommodate five comfortably, with enough room for beds and baths. The bathrooms are new and very well apportioned. The beds were comfortable and the sheets divine. We didn’t much use the kitchen, though it had all of the basics and a Nespresso machine! A few details: we drove and found parking no problem. In our four days we went to Aljezur for a sunset horseback ride, Lagos for a meal, and Portimao for kayaking the caves. All were easily accessed and a short drive away. We were grateful that we left our last day totally free and it was magic! Thank you to Miguel for his kindness and responsiveness! We will return, no question!

This place is a gem! The space itself is very well maintained and comfortable. The view of Praia do Luz is lovely, and the location cannot be beat! An easy 5 minute walk to the beach, and an easy drive to Lagos. Miguel is an incredible host!

Stayed there for 6 nights with our 3 teenage boys. Great location!!! 2 minute walk to the beach and same to some great restaurants. Grocery store was 5 minutes away. Luz was great. Would definitely go back to this town for a beach vacation and would also try to stay in the same beach house.

The house is wonderful. Short walk to the beach, the balcony is beautiful as pictured. It is a quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants shopping and all you will want in a lovely home. Thanks so much!

Miguel's home by the sea is in a stunning location and was the perfect spot for our family of four (2 teens). He is an excellent and friendly communicator - he reached out several days before our arrival to assist and make sure we had what we needed, including providing a lunch recommendation as we traveled by car from Lisbon to Luz. Very much appreciated! The views from the top floor terrace are just amazing but, to be honest, we didn't spend much time in the villa because there is so much to see & explore in the area. Miguel provides excellent recommendations which helps to make good use of your time. We loved wandering down along the boardwalk to grab a bite to eat and drinks. Our teens enjoyed the beach which was lovely. There is an excellent supermarcado within a few minutes walk. Lagos is a very short drive as is excursions to hike and explore the caves. We loved how accessible everything was from Luz and we really aporeciated returning to Luz. Luz is a bit more quiet/less crowded which was a perfect vibe for us -- we felt comfortable allowing our teens to explore on their own as it was easy to walk around. The people are so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend a stay at this lovely place!

Stop looking for other houses, this is it! The location is fantastic. It is a few minute walk to the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. The house is exactly as pictured and described. The view from the balcony is fantastic. Miguel communicated well.

Amazing Miguel was great to communicate with. The property was as listed. Great location. Beautiful views. Loved the deck. Personal chef recommendation menu looked amazing, price very reasonable. We were unable to take advantage due to schedule restraints. Restaurant recommendations were great. The Dolphin was amazing. Luzdoc (recommended by Miguel) was 5 minutes walk and did walk in covid test. Super nice employees. Would absolutely stay here again
