Overview
Casa Bianca is not only an outstanding 4 bedroom luxury property but is located in a high quality residential area. It is quiet and well away from the noisy tourist areas yet only 5 minutes drive into Albufeira and 5 minutes drive to the fabulous beaches of Sao Raphael. The beaches are only 25 minutes walk but whilst we recommend hiring a car, it's not essential. UBERs are brilliant in the area and very cheap.
The views from the villa are very special, as you will see from the photos.
This villa is a truly outstanding property in a beautiful, peaceful, rural and secluded setting, which affords absolute privacy. In a country setting yet only 5 minutes drive to the gorgeous beaches close to Albufeira, and only 5 minutes drive to the Old Town or the New Town (The "Strip" as it is sometime known).
There is a good supermarket, also selling UK products, within walking distance as well as cafes and restaurants.
There is easy access to the A22 motorway and the EN125; driving time to Faro airport is 30 to 35 minutes with Vilamoura only 15 to 20 minutes drive away.
In terms of accommodation the villa is on 2 floors with the main living areas on the ground floor. There is a large lounge/dining room that are stylishly furnished with a special atrium feature (see photo) and are fully air conditioned. There is a large flat screen TV, DVD player with patio doors opening out to the pool area and garden.
There is a large fully fitted kitchen with everything you would expect from dishwasher to microwave. All items are very high quality as are the utensils and crockery. Off the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine and iron / iron board..
Also on the ground floor is a large twin bedroom (can be made up as a double) with shower room, fully air conditioned and with fitted wardrobes.
First floor accommodation includes a master bedroom, air conditioned of course, with en suite facilities. Two further twin bedrooms (can be made up as doubles) that share a full bathroom. Both have access through patio doors to a very large terrace that overlooks the pool and garden with fabulous sea views.
The property is fully double glazed and has an alarm system, satellite TV (not Sky), fully air-conditioned, Wifi internet, BBQ, automatic garden irrigation system, and solar panels for hot water. There is a driveway and parking area and entry is by electronic gates.
No villa can be considered without the pool and here we have one that it not only large but can be heated with an additional charge (must be requested at least one week in advance - Please check for costs).
Cots and high chairs are available for children, as is an additional bed for a young teenager (note only 8 adults can be accommodated).
The owner will be happy to speak to you before or after the booking is confirmed to give you more information and to answer any questions.
Part of the service are the local Villa Managers, Nuno and Rogerio. Often property owners ask guests to arrive at a property, sometimes late at night, and a key is under the mat or in a security box; we think this is awful. You are met by Nuno or Rogerio and you will be provided with their contact details before arrival; this way you have a point of contact if you get lost, experience delays or just need some comfort to find your way around.

NOTE 4 - WE OFFER ADDITIONAL COMFORT BY ALLOWING CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS VIA STRIPE. IF BOOKING, WE ISSUE A FORMAL INVOICE VIA STRIPE.
NOTE 5 - SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE VILLA. IF THERE IS EVIDENCE OF SMOKING IN THE VILLA THE SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE RETURNED.
NOTE 6 - A SECURITY DEPOSIT OF £250 WILL BE COLLECTED BY BANK TRANSFER JUST BEFORE ARRIVAL DATE. IT WILL BE RETURNED WITHIN 1 WEEK OF DEPARTURE UPON A CLEAN REPORT REGARDING DAMAGE ETC. RECEIVED FROM THE VILLA MANAGER.

NOTE 10 - PRICES QUOTED INCLUDE A FULL CLEAN UPON DEPARTURE. FOR 2 WEEK BOOKINGS A FULL CLEAN AND CHANGE OF BED LINEN / TOWELS WILL BE PROVIDED AFTER AROUND 7 NIGHTS. FOR 7 DAY BOOKINGS NO ADDITIONAL CLEANING WILL TAKE PLACE, HOWEVER, ADDITIONAL TOWELS WILL BE PROVIDED, BED LINEN WILL NOT BE CHANGED. ADDITIONAL CLEANING AND A CHANGE OF BED LINEN CAN BE REQUESTED FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
NOTE 11 - SORRY BUT THE VILLA IS NOT SUITABLE FOR WHEELCHAIR USERS.
NOTE 12 - PLEASE NOTE THAT BOOKINGS OF GAPS OF MORE THAN ONE DAY FROM ANOTHER BOOKING, PARTICULARLY IN JULY & AUGUST, MIGHT NOT BE APPROVED. THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE LOSS OF INCOME TO THE OWNER IN THE HIGH SEASON.
NOTE 13 - ESSENTIAL YOU ORGANISE TRAVEL INSURANCE IMMEDIATELY YOU PAY YOUR DEPOSIT. THE POLICY MUST INCLUDE CANCELLATION.
NOTE 14 - FROM MAY 2024 PORTUGAL HAS INTRODUCED A DAILY TOURIST TAX THAT MUST BE PAID ON ARRIVAL TO THE VILLA MANAGER - €2 PER DAY UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 7 DAYS FOR ALL GUESTS AGED 13 AND OVER.

I worked in financial services as the Compliance and Risk Director for a major national Independent Financial Adviser, but retired in December 2019. Yvonne was an office manager with an estate agent, previously with a major high street bank, IBM and self employed as a bridal seamstress, but now also retired. We bought our first apartment at Villa Rosal in Sao Raphael near Albufeira 21 years ago. We rented it out but sold after 3 years as it did not give us the peace and quiet we wanted for our own holiday. We bought a new villa in 2009 near Ferreiras, but moved on again in 2020 to our current villa, which we live in for 9 / 10 months of the year. We handle holiday rental enquiries for our own villa. We also handle enquiries for some villas and apartments that are managed by the local Villa Management Company, Albuera Domus, which is based in Albufeira.
