Overview
This beautiful seaside 2 bedroom apartment is found in Madalena do Mar. It is completely self sustainable and is ready to just move in. The one bedroom has a double bed and the other is a single bed. The apartment has a private entrance. The kitchen is open plan. There is one full bathroom to service this apartment. The apartment has a good wifi connection too.
The balcony faces a banana plantation and huge a mountain range whilst the front of the apartment is a mere 10 steps away from the ocean. Imagine just waking up to the sounds of the waves rolling.
This apartment is very close to a very prominent feature of the island called ´Cascata dos Anjos´- a waterfall rushing into the middle of the road directly from the mountain top. A very instagramable place.
Ponto do Sol Workspace is also a 5 minute drive.
There is a small supermarket that services the area for your daily needs. Ponta do Sol is a 5 minute drive.
Madalena do Mar has a history of great sugar cane production and the greatest banana plantation on the whole of the island. This part of the island has a favourable and warmer climate all year round.

This place was heaven! We were looking for a peaceful spot on the other side of the island (from where we live) and this hit all the marks for us: steps away from a swimming beach, great paddleboarding, promenade to walk on, our favorite hike close by in Paul do Mar. I loved the view out the kitchen sliding door of banana groves and a waterfall flowing down the impressive cliffs. You can't beat the location for ocean lovers and those who want to be surrounded by nature. Easily walkable to Casa de Pedra (great food) and a few seaside cafes to get a beverage or snack.

Hello, my name is Dina! Im originally from South Africa, born and bred. My parents are however from Madeira, Funchal and Machico. I arrived in February 2018 with kids and luggage with the intention to find something that would support my kids and I. Anew beginning for us. I became involved in Property offering to help give some grounding to a new guesthouse and I discovered that I was good at it. From here I founded the digital Nomad community of Machico , namely Remote Eastcoasters which later added an NGO Amparo Nomad Cultural Connection and from this a niche evolved and my idea of supporting locals with earning passive income was birthed. Today I am blessed to have property owners entrust me to take care of there spaces and add value by bringing in clients. This is just the short story as there are many twists and tales but perhaps a coffee and a chat and I could share the whole lot.
