Overview
This spacious one bedroom apartment is located in down town city centre of Machico. You could not get any moore central than this.
This apartment offers a cute spacious kitchen, one bathroom, 1 bedroom and a spacious living area that overlooks the town. This apartment also has a private terrace which has mountain views. it has a storage room/washing room that houses the washing machine and all the cleaning equipment.
The apartment is accessed by stairs only.
Once out of the apartment everything is in walking distance. Supermarkets are about 500 metres away in one direction and the beaches are about 500 metres away in the opposite direction.
The ground floor of the apartment building has a cute and very local cafe.
In Machico Madeira everything is walkable. The buses servicing between Machico and the capital city is the SAM group. These buses are very efficient. Every day and four times a day , between Monday to Friday the buses offer 4 Express services to the Capital Funchal. This bus trip is only 45 minutes. The last bus leaving the capital city of Funchal is around 11:30 pm.
If you are into nature the first hiking trail starts closest to the sand beach as up to our Pico do Facho.

Hello, my name is Dina! Im originally from South Africa, born and bred. My parents are however from Madeira, Funchal and Machico. I arrived in February 2018 with kids and luggage with the intention to find something that would support my kids and I. Anew beginning for us. I became involved in Property offering to help give some grounding to a new guesthouse and I discovered that I was good at it. From here I founded the digital Nomad community of Machico , namely Remote Eastcoasters which later added an NGO Amparo Nomad Cultural Connection and from this a niche evolved and my idea of supporting locals with earning passive income was birthed. Today I am blessed to have property owners entrust me to take care of there spaces and add value by bringing in clients. This is just the short story as there are many twists and tales but perhaps a coffee and a chat and I could share the whole lot.
