Casa Alpendre is a detached country house with a private pool and parking. It is situated close to the river Lima and has free views over the vineyards until the mountains of Spain.

Overview

Casa Alpendre is a detached country house, partly built in granite, on the Quinta de Luou wine estate, known locally for its excellent vinho verde. Within the domain of the estate, Casa do Alpendre has its own entrance, a private parking, an enclosed garden with swimming pool that offers you peace and privacy.
In front of the villa is the spacious terrace with large dining table. An olive tree and a large lime tree offer natural shade another terrace next to the pool.

You enter Casa do Alpendre through the very spacious kitchen which is equipped with all appliances and a dining table for 6 people. Via a hallway with separate WC you reach the 3 spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and fitted wardrobes. All bedrooms have their own access to the garden and pool through French doors.

On the other side of the hall is the large dining room. Via a staircase you reach the spacious living room with comfortable sofas and an attractive fireplace. The TV room adjoins the living room, at the head of the old granite house. The living room is slightly elevated and offers an unobstructed view without buildings or traffic over the vineyards to the nature park adjacent to Spain a few tens of kilometers away. from the living room you can also go outside through the covered (and the shaded) veranda that leads you to the garden and pool with a staircase

We had a wonderful week in this nice house. Swimming pool was larger than we had imagined, lovely lawn where our son could play football and nice view over the vineyards. The filled bookcase was a nice extra, certainly worth mentioning (so you have to carry fewer books). Landlord very friendly and helpful. Also nice the detailed description of the house and the tips for the area and an extra tip that we got from him.

Great house, just excellent! Photos correspond to reality. In the summer we only used the kitchen, garden and bedrooms. House is large, in a nice quiet area.

Very nice house in beautiful surroundings. Large kitchen on garden great for cooking and eating outside. Enjoyed the peace and beautiful view from the garden. Inventory is very complete, nice beds. Beautiful surroundings, visit Peneda-Geres National Park very worthwhile for culture & nature lovers. But the immediate surroundings of the house are also beautiful and friendly. Nice detours to the river and nearby village of Gandra. In village small but nice supermarket for groceries. Contact with the owner was good, responded quickly to questions during the stay. Recommended!
