Functional accommodation with a beautiful view, well located, 5 minutes walk from the town centre and the beach.

EN: We had a wonderful week in Carvoeiro in Susie's flat. The accommodation is very well located (7'/8' walk to the beach and shops), well equipped (2 shower rooms, washing machine, wifi...) and offers a wonderful view of the village from the terrace and the roof-top. Carvoeiro is a pleasant village from which it is easy to discover this part of the Algarve (Silves, Albufeira, Lagos, Portimao, Monchique...) FR: Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine à Carvoeiro dans l’appartement de Susie. Le logement est très bien situé (7’/8’ à pied de la plage et des commerces ), bien équipé (2 SdeB, lave linge, wifi...) et offre une vue magnifique sur le village de la terrasse et du roof-top. Carvoeiro est un village agréable duquel il est facile de découvrir cette partie de l’Algarve (Silves, Albufeira, Lagos, Portimao, Monchique...)

EN: Great house with carport. Bedrooms are 1 floor down so they are always cool and an air conditioner is not necessary. House is a bit smaller than expected but big enough. Also a good balcony. House has everything you need, including washing machine and all other equipment. Location is nice but is on a hill. Meaning that you have to walk down a bit and then walk up again. Susie is very nice, flexible and almost always available. 1 disadvantage may be that you hear many seagulls in the early morning, they could wake you up. For the rest we had a great 10 days. DE: DE Prima huis met Carport. Slaapkamers zijn 1 verdieping lager waardoor ze altijd koel zijn en een airco niet nodig is. Huis is iets kleiner dan gedacht maar groot genoeg. Ook een prima balkon. Huis heeft echt alles wat je nodig hebt, incl. vaatwasser, wasmachine en verder alle apparatuur. Locatie is mooi maar ligt wel op een heuvel. Dwz dat je wel een stukje omlaag en daarna ook weer omhoog moet (lopen). Susie is heel aardig, flexibel en vrijwel altijd bereikbaar. 1 nadeel kan zijn dat je sochtends vroeg veel zeemeeuwen hoort. Daar zou je vrieg wakker van kunnen worden. Voor de rest een geweldige 10 dagen gehad.

Great accommodation on 3 levels, cool bedrooms even in high temperatures, nice balconies for alfresco dining including a roof terrace. Easy access to a stunning part of the Algarve coastline, including beautiful beaches, caves and coves, and walks between them.

Lovely little house with amazing view over Carvoeiro, fully equipped with everything you need incl. beach towels and sun umbrellas. There are two terraces from which you can see the ocean. Comfortable beds even for tall people. Communication with host was easy and she responded very fast. We really enjoyed our stay here :)

Comfortable house with stunning view and perfect location. We stayed in Calina Branca townhouse No. 23 which we found extremely comfortable and well located. It stands on one of the hills of the beautiful Carvoeiro valley and boasts a stunning view over the village and the sea, while at only 5 mins walk from the main street (plenty of shops and restaurants) and a 7-10 minutes walk from the beach. The parking slot right at the entrance is very practical: with a car, big supermarkets are only a 5 minute drive and there are several beach options within a 15 minutes radius. The townhouse is fully equipped and was immaculately clean when we arrived (check-in/out is easy and contactless). The terrace is superb and we strongly recommend enjoying meals with the seaview and together with the singing of seagulls and swallows. While the architecture of the townhouse provides most of the cooling, having AC in all rooms is a real treat. Despite being a very relaxed place, Carvoeiro offers several sea-related activities, of which visiting the caves by boat is a must. It was reassuring to see that life in Algarve resumed under the current sanitary restrictions. We felt safe and relaxed as all businesses and other tourists are following the rules and taking all the necessary precautions. We had a fantastic experience and fully recommend this place - many thanks to the hosts and to Susie who kindly arranged a baby cot for our little girl.

Thank you we all enjoyed our week in Carvoeiro. Spacious, clean, great sea views, great location for beach and restaurants. We stayed in no.23 and the hill / steps down to town are very manageable - obviously that depends on your mobility but we were all fine (& one of us was 6 months pregnant, to give you an indication). The shared pool is bigger than we thought.

Very pleasant stay in Carvoeiro. Very clean and well equipped house with a nice sea view. Beach, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Fr: Très agréable séjour à Carvoeiro. Maison très propre et très bien équipée avec une jolie vue mer. Plage, commerces et restaurants accessibles à pied.

Great apartment, very well equipped for self catering. Short walk to the town and shops - highly recommend using UBER’s to get around so easy. Very hilly which we didn’t mind to walk up each day. Very chilled and had a great stay. Couldn’t find the bbq. Pool area is ok.

This townhouse is lovely. Ideally placed for walking into Carvoeiro with all it's restaurants,shops and bars. The house is very well equipped and beautifully clean. The swimmng pool is close by and can be seen from the terrace which gets the sun all day. We were there on the first chilly night and were provided with a radiator so that we weren't cold for long. We wouldn't hesitate to rent this house again.

This is a traditional villa with all the amenities ,very near the town, some steep steps to contend with ,but you take your time and this becomes part of your daily exercise . Lots of hot water, bath and shower, lovely lounge. One or two little things could be updated but this won't detract from your stay. The position is perfect ,lots of cafés and restaurants nearby. We had to travel around a lot ,taxis can be expensive, UBER rates were very good.

The accommodation is in a brilliant location, a few minutes walk from the town square with bars and restaurants but far enough out to be peaceful. The evening views towards the sea from the balcony are lovely. The pool at the complex is a great size with plenty of beds and umbrellas. Carvoeiro is a small resort but has everything you could need for your holiday. The beaches in the local area are beautiful with crystal clear water.

The townhouse was lovely, very quirky with the bedrooms downstairs and both with a little balcony. The twin bedroom also had a small shower and toilet which we hadn’t realised. Views over Carvoeiro from the main balcony of the accommodation were wonderful and it was perfectly located - though I should mention there were a lot of steps to reach it (or via a steep hill) so I would not recommend for those not so good on their feet. There was a very helpful manual in the apartment covering everything you could think of both to do with the accommodation and the town. Susie was a great host from start to finish and always responded very quick. We loved our stay and would highly recommend our host susie.

Our group of 4 really enjoyed our stay! The apartment is spacious and well appointed. Beautiful sunset view from the main patio! Easy to walk into town, the beach and the pool.

We stayed for ten nights in number 13 ,traditional townhouse and it was fantastic, location was only 5mins walk to centre although it’s on a hill ,with a few stairs to climb . It has a shared pool with lots of sun loungers and umbrellas,some days we had this to ourselves ,with no one reserving beds then leaving for the day ,near the end of the holiday the pool area did get busy. Susan was always there if we needed her ,and Rosa the cleaning lady was fantastic and very helpful. We loved the Colina and we loved Carvoiro.

Totally spoiled in this beautiful house situated overlooking Carvoeiro. Fantastic amenities throughout a real home from home with private parking for our hire car with use of the communal pool. Local amenities can provide whatever type of holiday you are looking for self catering or eating out. local markets, short drive to supermarkets and plenty of choice for eating out. Host always available to answer questions. Great base for exploring the surrounding area.

The view from villa is amazing - from all rooms. All rooms were extremely clean and very well equipped especially kitchen. Nice terrace and top terrace. Good quiet location 5 minutes from beach - really 5 minutes ! It was our the best family vacation ever ! Villa was perfect very very clean and equipped in all what I can imagine. I wish to come back during summer time with friends....

We enjoyed 5 nights at Susan’s place. Everything was exact as the photos show. The place was well equipped every thing you need and a very nice pool. Sun decks off both bedrooms, living area and roof top. This place is on a hill, but close walking distance to town, beach and great hiking!

Excellent accommodation. Second time here. House is a home from home , everything you require . Pool very quiet , most days we had it to ourselves . Love Colina Branca .Highly recommend this property.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable stay. I'm just back from a 9 night stay in Susie's 2 bedroom townhouse in Colina Branca. It was impeccably clean and very comfortable, loads of hot water, towels, sun umbrellas etc for myself, husband, 2 kids and parents. The bedrooms were plenty big for sharing as we had our two children in with us on a pull out bed and cot. The pool area was also spotless and we enjoyed many an afternoon on the well-kept sun loungers. One consideration (not necessarily a negative) is the extremely steep hill from the town up to the townhouses - it is perfectly manageable for any active person but could be a problem if you had mobility issues. Having said that, the house was very close to the beach and main square so was worth it for me (and taxis are very affordable if you didn't have a car)! Would have absolutely no problems in recommending Susie's townhouse and would look forward to staying again in future.

We (4 people) stayed in the beautiful apartment in Colina Branca. The place offers everything you need (dish washer, washing machine, dryer, soap, towels, coffee machine, plenty of dishes,...) and has two terraces with a spectacular view over Carvoeiro. We really enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace looking at the see. The pool is big and nice but few stairs away. For us it was no problem because we don't mind a little walk. Since the apartments are located on a hill you have to walk a little bit until you are at the beach (5-10 minutes). Communication with Susan is very easy, because she answers fast. If you need anything you get a quick help (for example we couldn't find the hair dryer and she immediately brought us one). Also cleaning once to twice a week is included which is very comfortable. We really recommend the apartment and want to come back to Colina Branca.

Lovely house within easy walking distance of the small and vibrant town of Carvoeiro. The view from the house over the town and the sea was lovely. The house itself was a great size and the facilities were excellent, the kids especially liked having WiFi. The shared pool was a short walk from the house and even in peak season never felt crowded. The house was fully cleaned half way through our holiday by a lovely lady. Overall, great accommodation in a great location with great facilities and service. Would definitely return and would recommend to anyone looking for a holiday in this part of the Algarve. Thanks for everything. We may well be back next year.

The House is in a really beautiful location and has a great view. There were no problems, Rosa took good care of us ??. We would like to come back.

The property description was spot on - well written guidance notes in property which covered every aspect of stay, i.e. whether it places to visit or recommended eating places. Also guides with respect to all appliances within property and how to operate were clear and detailed and all emergency telephone numbers were to hand. No problem with following guide for internet. Property well maintained and clean. Out and about in car visited most places wthin 20 minute radius and had some very nice lunches/evening meals. Only thing that found resort had monopoly on was prices on sun beds at 17 euros - thought very expensive but however only used for one day so not really a problem, Would recommend to friends.

Very good location geographically for many excursions, but also, more importantly, close to the centre of Carvoeiro , one of the most beautiful seaside resorts of The Algarve. The house is a typical, with very pretty views of the ocean and cliff side houses that make it appear all white, and the solarium on the balcony. We enjoyed the quietness of the environment. Just a point that needs in proving, everything in the tourist information in the house is written in English.

You can rent with confidence. The House is very well equipped with stunning views, especially from the roof terrace. The pool is beautiful with not many people in early July. The village is charming and family-friendly, a change from other cities in the surrounding area and close to the most beautiful beaches of Portugal, in particular "Praia dos Três Irmãos", which for us is the most beautiful. If we return to Portugal, we will return to Colina Branca.

We have been holidaying in Carvoeiro for the past 12 years, off and on. We have stayed in Villas as well as the Town Houses in Colina Branca. The Colina Branca houses are superb. The size of the house and the sun balcony is just perfect for our needs. It was clean and tidy and provided more than we expected. This year we had 3 generations in our party ranging from 17 to 71 and there was ample space for all including an en-suite bathroom in one of the bedrooms so my Mum had more privacy in the mornings and getting ready to go out at night. The pool is a really good size. Deep at one end and nice and shallow at the other so the pool would suit most people. We never had to get up in the morning to put towels out as there was always sun beds available regardless of the time we got to the pool and all 6 of us got a bed and a sun umbrella if needed. The whole of Carvoeiro is built on the hillside of what was probably a simple valley many centurys ago. There is no avoiding either steep hills or steps. Colina Branca is no different. You can walk up donkey hill to get to the villas or go past the hill and take the stairs. 95 steps up to our villa! After coming off the beach and having lunch in Smilers it is only 40 steps from the raod to get to the pool which was a good place to stop. I do have to say that the steps did not affect our holiday one bit. Infact it made us all feel we deserved the ice cream after dinner because we had put in a bit of extra effort using the stairs. Weve already booked for next year and just cant wait to get back to the place we feel is our second home.

Colina Branca is a small development of townhouses, and a perfect choice for a family holiday. We stayted in a 2/3 bedroom townhouse which slept 5 people comfortably. The lounge/dining area was furnished very well in Portuguese style and the patio doors opened onto a very spacious sun terrace which included sun loungers and patio furniture. There was a further rooftop sun terrace which was also very spacious and perfect for fantastic views of Carvoeiro. The kitchen was very well equipped even ice packs in the freezer and cool bag to use. The bedrooms were very comfortable each with small private sun terraces. The communal pool area was superb with lots of sun loungers and sun umbrellas. The village/beach is no more than 10 minutes walk from the complex, and you are made very welcome by the locals in all the cafe bars/shops and restaurants. We will certainly be returning to Colina Branca. Thank you!
