Overview

Balaia golf village is nestled amongst a 9 hole golf course between Vilamoura and Albufeira. It also boasts 4 tennis courts, 6 swimming pools, restaurants, supermarket, beauty parlor and shops and now a very new bowling green.

There is also a 24 hour reception area. Here the friendly and helpful staff will assist with your requests. Whether it is for a taxi, local excursions or just general knowledge about the surrounding areas. There is also internet access available.

Due to its location most of the Algarve’s treats are not far away and Spain is only about an hours drive away.

Apartment 747
The apartment sits in a quieter area of the complex, next to the golf clubhouse and overlooking the driving range. There is a pool complex 50 meters away ideal for both adults and children.
It enjoys a south facing terrace where you can sunbathe all day if you so wish, or watch the entertainment of the driving range.
The apartment is in excellent decorative quality and naturally comes with all the modern conveniences. This is classed as a superior apartment by the resort and so has a fully operational kitchen and includes extras such as coffee machine, toaster juicer and microwave. There is also washing facilities drier ironing board and iron and clothes horse.
The lounge has comfortable seating for up to 6 people where you can enjoy your meal or sit and watch the television.
Both bedrooms have twin beds are spacious and have double wardrobes where there is ample space for your clothes and belongings. The master bedroom is on suite and opens onto its own terrace. The second bedroom is served by the second bathroom. The sofa in the lounge also pulls out to make a double bed.
Your valuables can be safely locked away in the built in safe.

And finally
With all this going on, in and around the resort there are a lot more advantages to staying in this area.
The Maria Luisa beach is about a 10 minute walk. It is a secluded sandy beach, ideal for the kids and has a restaurant for excellent meals or just enjoy a coffee or “imperial”.

Albufeira is about five to 10 minutes by car and has the lot. Restaurants of all kinds, Bars a plenty to suit all ages and tastes, shops, souvenirs and at night plenty of nightlife and nightclubs for the younger generation.

For the golfers Vilamoura a 15 minute drive has 6 or 7 golf courses, another 15 minutes on and you have the internationally acclaimed courses of Quinta do Lago alongside Vale do Lobo Pinheiros Altos and Sao Lourenco, an absolute golfers paradise.

There are marinas in Vilamoura, Albufeira and Lagos and other s dotted all along the coast. In Almancil there is karting for the racers, history and a castle in nearby Silves. If you want a full day out, Spain is only a hour’s drive and the beautiful city of Seville can be reached in just 2 hours 30 minutes.

There is sailing, sea fishing, flying, helicopter rides, the zoo, ten pin bowling, shopping, safaris, waterslide parks, zoo marine, horse riding and much more. The choice is yours!!!!!

An excellent apartment ideally situated for Golf on the Algarve. Close to the beach 10-15 min walk away would diffently look at booking again in the future.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at this apartment. This 2 bedroomed apartment was situated on the ground floor and looked onto the golf driving range. We saw some spectacular sunsets whilst relaxing on the patio during the evenings. It was a very peaceful area, lovely to have the garden to use too and the closest pool is only a short walk away. The apartment is equipped with everything we could ever have needed. Checking in and out was hassle free and reception staff were very friendly. We look forward to returning. A very big thank you to Peter and Yvonne for answering all of our queries prior to arriving and for the use of a wonderful apartment!

We stayed at 747 for the last 2 weeks in August, traveling with our two young boys (6 and 4). We were delighted with our choice of location, the villa is next to the golf driving range and club house (which has a great restaurant). The villa was immaculately clean and well appointed, we didnt find it missing anything we needed. We found the garden space valuable, which was very private. The whole complex was very clean and facilities were well looked after, the closest pool was a minutes walk away, if that! We would thoroughly recommend the villa, it was just as wed hoped and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

We have been spending our summer holidays (August) in Balaia Golf Village for the past three years, and this was definitely the best house where we stayed, compared to others in the same complex.
In the apartment everything is very well maintained and clean, with clear instructions for using everything.
In terms of location, despite not being in the center of the complex and very near the beach, the house is located in a quiet and beautiful area (surrounded by golf courses), very close to the Golf Clubhouse (where you can have meals in a pleasent environment), and very close to one of the best pools in the complex - big, but quieter than the others in the complex.
The garden is nice and relaxing, and has a good table with chairs for meals.
The contact via email with the owner always worked well, and he was always polite and kind.
We definitely consider to rent this apartment again.

A very nice spacious, well equipped and clean apartment in a nice quiet position on the excellent Balaia Golf Village. Overlooks Golf Driving range but has a small garden area with hedges ensuring privacy. Close to a nice pool area which we had to ourselves many days and the golf club house which is a lovely spot for a drink or lunch. We would definately recommend. One bit of feedback, needs two lounger cushions or pads please so people can sunbathe if they wish on apartment patio. This is a really nice complex with beautiful gardens.

Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment in a delightful location. Has private garden with a lovely table, chairs and sun loungers. The 3 tier pool is very near the apartment and in a lovely setting. The apartment is very well equipped, very clean and well looked after. Only a short walk to the shop but worth a visit for the fresh croissants in a morning for breakfast. We will definitely rent this apartment again and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Helen and James Butters - Leeds

Fantastic place, its got the lot golf, tennis, gym, pools and now the new bowling green. A sportsmans dream and the kids too. We spent two weeks in this lovely apartment which catered for everything. Thank you for allowing us to rent your apartment it was really ideal for us and we hope that we can rent from you again. The stage the children are at meant the location of the apartment to the  pool and driving range was perfect as they had some independance. Tried to leave as tidy as possible but we left at 6 a.m so hopefully all was ok. The flat is so bright and spacious and we loved being able to lie on sunloungers outside and not race to put towels at sunloungers at the pool. We arrived at the property passing the immaculate golf course. Entrance to the property was pleaseing as it seemed like home from home. This is a very nice area of the Algarve as it has evrything for the whole family and the apartment became a fantastic base from which to explore the surrounding areas. Thanks to the owners for their help and presentation.

We had a fantastic time at this apartment, just as the website described. Concerns about air conditioning wre put asside because the apartment being on the ground floor was cool all day and would not have beeen neccessary anyway! There were a selec tion of pools to choose from, the gym, tennis and golf all helped to wile away the days, as did just relaxing on the sunloungers on the grassed garden adjoining the property. Thank you for an enjoyable holiday.

After using your apartment before, we decided to come back again. It did not disappoint. Your facilities were excellent and we find it ideal as a base in which to travel from. It is central and within half an hour of most of the attractions on the Algarve coast. The weather could have been a little better but we do not expect you to provide everything.Thanks again and we hope to be back in the not too distant future.

We are an elderley couple in our seventies and have just spent 2 weeks here. The apartment was clean light and was supplied with everything we needed. My husband is a golfer and was in his element, having the driving range on one side and the golf course on the other. Although a little long for us we managed to walk to the local shops and the beaches. There is also plenty to do in the complex as well. We will be coming back to this apartment. Carole Redditch

This was our first holiday that was not package deal and we loved it. The apartment was probably in one of the best positions in the village. The pool was 50m away and the golf club house was next door. The apartment was perfect and usually very quiet considering the time of year and the description was very good. There are many good restaurants within a 10 minute walk and Albufeira was close and had very good night life. I would recommend the apartment to anyone and we will probably return in the very near future!
