Casa Boa Vista is a large luxury detached family villa only 20/25 mins from Faro airport, close to Quelfes, Moncarapacho and Olhao, in the lovely unspoilt Eastern Algarve. In a large plot size of approx 1600 sq m.
You really will relax in minutes, not days! Excellent bistro restaurant just 800m. It has 4 large bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, one shower room and comfortably sleeps 8. Occupancy can be increased to 9 on request for young children using cot/portable bed, supplied free of charge. Casa Boa Vista is south facing and overlooks unspoilt countryside. The 10m x 5m pool is heated to 28 degrees using electric heatpump and surrounded by terrace with large BBQ, loungers, tables and chairs. The villa has excellent fast fibre , TV channels including BBC/ITV, sports and movies and aircon. Cool prevailing breeze and use of shutters keeps the lounge cool throughout the day. But there are also several electric fans. The large cool basement games room has sofas, an 8ft pool table, ping pong, tabletop footbal, step machine, golf clubs, darts, books, game and of toys/games for young children. The villa is surrounded by half acre garden with with a second BBQ, a boules area, extra seating, all overlooking unspoilt countryside. Plentiful off road parking. Supermarkets/restaurants within 5-10 mins drive. Beaches, beach islands, golf, excellent shopping, cinema, markets and other attractions only 10/15+ mins drive away.

Casa Boa Vista a has its own south facing 10m x 5m heated pool at rear of villa with night lights and roman end for easy access. All surrounded by large pool terrace with padded loungers, tables and chairs with some deep shade for hotter months and large BBQ. Pool heating is by electric heatpump ensuring good temperature whenever you visit. Aircon (cool and warm) provided. Fast WiFi with unlimited downloading is also FREE.
Superb garden surrounds with lemon, satsuma, plam, olive trees and amazing Algarvean planting. The garden also has a large boules area with seating, another large BBQ, table/chairs and solar lighting for al fresco dining. The villa backs onto unspoilt countryside with superb views. The villa is situated only 2.5 miles outside the small village of Moncarapacho, close to Estoi, Quelfes and Olhao, approx. 20 mins from Faro airport in the very beautiful unspoilt Eastern Algarve. Roads excellent to access.

ABOUT THE VILLA
This villa really is exceptionally large. Very stylishly furnished in modern style with marble floors throughout. Exceptionally well maintained The large open plan lounge has 4 seater sofas and other seating, 40" TV with BBC/ITV, Movie and Sports channels, DVD player, and fast fibre Wifii. The dining area comfortably seats 8/ 10
There are 4 large bedrooms (2 kingsize ensuites and 2 twin rooms) There are 3 fully tiled luxurious bath/shower rooms all with bath, shower, bidet and wash hand basins and a further shower room with toilet and basin 2 bathrooms are ensuite. All bedrooms have extensive fitted cupboards and there are 2 digital safes fitted in the villa. The master en-suite bedroom on the first floor has a corner bath and its own furnished terrace where you can enjoy wonderful views. You will fight over this one!!
The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could wish for including a mortar and pestle! Lots of melamine items to reduce your stress levels for outside eating if you wish to use. But most important is the additional fridge in the utility room to keep the beers and wine cold!!
The villa enjoys PRIME location with the garden backing onto protected land with stunning views of unspoilt countryside. Set amongst other luxury villas, all with plot sizes minimum half an acre. The surrounding area is rural and totally unspoilt and known for its extensive citrus and almond groves. However you are only 20 mins from Faro airport and only 30 minutes away from major Central Algarve attractions - if you can remover yourself away from the pool.
This really is a superb location to enjoy beach and golf holidays .For golfers this is paradise. There are five golf courses all within 20+ mins, including Benamor, the championship Quinta de Cima golf course and sister club Ria - named in the 2004/05 Peugeot Golf Guide as the Best Golf Courses in Portugal. The brand new Monte Rei course is only 25 mins away. There are a further 5 golf courses close by approx 25-30 mins with 5 just over the border into Spain at Ayamonte. Just a few minutes away, outside Moncarapacho there is an excellent 9 hole par 3 course, also with putting green for the whole family to enjoy.
There are some truly glorious beaches and beach islands nearby, many which are accessed by small boat/train (great fun for all the family), the closest being at Fuseta 6 miles away. Lots of info on local beaches, places to visit etc in the Welcome Book in the villa. There are wonderful island beaches in every direction and trips to enjoy in the mountains.
The nearest village of Moncarapacho is 2.5 miles, with supermarket, 2 mini markets, cash machines, petrol station, dentist, doctors, pharmacy, post office, bars, some excellent restaurants and other local shops. Not to be overlooked is an excellent inexpensive bistro restaurant just 800m from the villa, a gentle 12/15 min walk or 2 mins by car where guests go time after time.
Within a few kms is the town of Olhao with many hypermarkets for best shopping, its fishing port, wonderful fish/veg markets, many fine fish restaurants, numerous international food restaurants, shopping centre with go karts, cinema and shops. Boats leave Olhao regularly for the islands of Farol, Culatra and Armona.
Come and see and feel the difference - explore this very beautiful, unspoilt and inexpensive part of the Algarve. Car hire essential to access shops and explore the area.
THINGS TO DO, PLACES TO VISIT
The villa is within easy distance of Tavira (regarded as the loveliest town in the Algarve), Estoi (with its Rococo palace recently developed into a Poussada and Roman villa ruins), Olhao (fishing port, markets, shopping and excellent fish restaurants), Vila Real (16th century town on the Spanish border) and much much more. You are only 10 minutes away from accessing the Ria Formosa Park with flamingoes in cool weather and famous Portuguese water dogs with webbed feet.
From Tavira, Olhao, Fusetta and Cabanas you can travel by small boat to many truly superb offshore island beaches. Seville can be reached within 2 hours, Cordoba is 2 hrs further on, , Lisbon is approximately 2.5 hours away. The roads and motorways are excellent. Alternatively within 30 mins driving west you can access major central Algarve towns and attractions .... or you could just chill, relax around the pool and enjoy doing absolutely nothing - as so many of our guests do !!
For those with quieter tastes the nearby Ria Formosa National Park offers excellent walks, extensive beaches and fantastic birdwatching (feathered variety)!!.
There are some really lovely places to visit - you will not be disappointed. This is a truly unspoilt part of the Algarve. Eating out on wonderful local fish meat and wine is still surprisingly inexpensive. Why not try it for a change. THE REAL PORTUGAL !! See reviews from guests - they love it!!

This villa is absolutely amazing with everything that you would need to make your stay perfect. Initially we were a family of 3 with a teenager and then joined for a few days we had another two visitors who were young adults. Firstly, all the bedrooms are large and airy with aircon, window shutters and black out curtains, bath and hand towel provided for each guest and beds made on arrival. The two larger rooms (doubles) have an unsuited, with the twin rooms sharing either the family bathroom or the shower room just down the hall. The living/dining room is a great space and opens out to the pool area with tables, chairs, sunloungers, bbq, washing line, beautiful garden and a lovely view. The kitchen area again is large with everything that you need for that perfect dinner prep. Off the kitchen is the utility room with a further fridge freezer which we used for drinks etc, pool towels, washing machine, seat and lounger cushions etc. The basement area (garage) has the pool table (many a great game was had by us all), table tennis, football table, two sofa and multiple board games.
Although the villa is up in the hills and away from it all, it is a great place to spend a holiday and not too far by car to local towns and villages. With plenty of places in the surrounding area to eat you will be spoilt for choice - believe me when I say, you will not be disappointed. The local bistro is a definite must, we walked there the first time (it was far too hot) so the second time we drove. It is advisable if going at night to book a table as you never know how busy it will get - our 2nd visit was so busy people were waiting for tables. Remember, there is no local shop that you can just walk too the.pick up milk or bread, but that did not bother us in the slightest. The local manager Ines is lovely as is the pool/maintenance man - they are there to help if any problems or issues and to give advise on the villa etc
I would highly recommend this lovely villa and would definitely visit again I'd given the chance.

Beautiful Family Villa Holiday
We recently stayed at this beautiful family villa, and it exceeded all our expectations! The villa was stunning, with generous sized rooms and the most comfortable beds.
A warm welcome made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
The fully-equipped kitchen and comfortable living areas were perfect for family gatherings. The outdoor space was a highlight, featuring a pristine pool, lush gardens, and a charming patio area where we enjoyed many meals together with a welcome area for shade. The location was ideal, giving us the peace to read, rest, relax and eat.
The hosts communications were fantastic and very informative, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Their attention to detail and thoughtful touches, like a welcome basket with local goodies, made our holiday even more special.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Boa Vista, as the villa and surrounding area were beautiful and had everything that we needed for a great holiday. The area is quiet, yet close to plentiful amenities and pretty towns that are well worth a visit. The villa is one of the best that we have stayed at, with all the facilities you could need, and with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. We spent mornings on visits, and then enjoyed the fabulous pool, games room and terrace for the rest of the day. It is also worth visiting the local bistro, Casa De Pasto Do Carmo, as the food is simple yet delicious, with everything at a reasonable price. We pre-ordered the cataplana for our last visit, which was glorious! The local caretaker, Inês, was very friendly and helpful, and it was great to know that she was on hand should any issue arise. But we had no issue at all, as Casa Boa Vista is an excellent villa, to which we would very much like to return, very soon! The villa was everything we wanted; it was was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The pool was glorious as it was kept at a perfect temperature and was big and deep enough to have a proper swim. The games room was well used and loved by all. It included a table tennis table, pool table, darts board and board games galore. It was too hot for boules in the daytime, but it was lovely to play in the evening. We struggled to find time though as there was so much else to do! Inês looks after the property and she couldn’t do enough for us. She was easy to contact and responded very quickly to answer any questions we had. It made the stay completely stress-free.
We had to drive everywhere which we were fine with as the benefit was a quiet and tranquil location up in the hills with a gorgeous cooling breeze, even on the hottest day. The villa is about 10 mins drive to the local supermarket in Moncarapacho which had a cafe inside and was a decent size. Our favourite restaurant, Antonio’s, was also there where we had the best stone cooked steaks we had ever had. There were lots of lovely beaches to explore within 20 to 30 mins drive and Tavira town is well worth a visit. We hope to be back next year.

We stayed at this villa as a large family of 8 needing plenty of space and this villa did not disappoint! In my opinion the photos do not do the villa justice as it’s so much bigger than anticipated. Every room is really big, especially the double room with en suite located upstairs. Everyone had their own space when needed especially my son who is autistic and was relaxed the whole holiday which was so important to us. The pool is also a great size and always warm enough to take a dip or swim, my 7 year old daughter was barely out of it. The weather was beautiful with a lovely subtle breeze all day. As we were happy to spend most of our time at the villa we decided against hiring a car, instead we used the Uber app when venturing 10 mins into the town and they always arrived quickly and we’re very cheap! Olhão was lovely and food was Devine, one day we took the ferry to Farol and enjoyed the beach with big waves! Overall I cannot fault the villa, owner and manager they are very accommodating. Our holiday will be one to remember and would not hesitate to come back, thank you!

Our stay at Casa Boa Vista in early July was the perfect family holiday. We were 8 people, from small children to grandparents, and Casa Boa Vista was just the perfect villa. Lots of space both inside and outside, and the pool!! We had people in the pool from early morning to bedtime. The house was very clean and well equipped, appliances were new and functional, and whatever we needed was there in the house somewhere. It was very hot (unusually hot) the week we were there with temperatures up to 35 degrees and maybe more, but it wasn’t really a problem. There was a strong ocean breeze during the day which made life comfortable, and we used the air conditioning in the bedrooms through the night. If anything, the living room was too hot in the evenings, but it was not a big issue. The house has a good location, quite private and with a nice country view. We really like the area and the surroundings, with easy access to supermarkets and restaurants and beaches at the coast. The contact with Paula the owner and with Ines the local manager was pleasant and problem free. The property is just as nice as it looks on the website, if not even better, and we would rent it again any day!
