Villa Collum, 6 Bedroom Villa With Private Pool, Albufeira

We had a few complaints about this villa, pictures on website are misleading the villa is actually quite small regarding kitchen and lounge area quite squashed for a large group. Furniture outside is plastic not ratten as shown in photos online, aircon broke in one room but this was rectified quickly, mould in other aircons. One shower leaked and the other was not fixed to the wall so had to use alternative showers. Dishwasher was broken and leaked, no parasols although one was asked for. Lots of ants in kitchen area, the downstairs bedroom is very dark and gloomy and no door on it.
Building work going on opposite which was noisy and woke us up and carried on most of the day, we was not told about this and would not have booked if we had known.
The villa is in a good position for the strip and this is probably the only plus for this villa, it needs a lot of updating.
On the last night a group of people arrived and were very rowdy till 1am keeping everyone in our villa awake and the same on returning at 4am!! So was glad to be going, this villa position is more for the younger generation as noisy area and noisy neighbours.

We’ve just returned from villa Collum. We had a great time. We are a family of 8 including 2 children and everyone had their own en-suite with plenty of warm water for the showers. The pool was a good size and clean. The strip was very close but not too close where the noise would keep you awake. Jim was very helpful and our transfer to and from the airport was great. Would definitely stay here again

The villa is situated in an ideal location for the Albufeira party strip but also handy for the beach and a little further to the old town. The pool is the real winner with this property and has great privacy. The property was clean and spacious with plenty of beds. I’d definitely recommend it for large groups.

Excellent all round and Patrick was very helpful sorting out transfers. All in all 100 percent only regret is should of booked for two weeks instead of one. But hey ho always next year!!😆

We were a large hen party group staying for 5 nights. The villa was more than adequate only 500 yards from the strip, it was very clean with adequate facilities. The pool was spotless and the bed linen was lovely and clean, some items could have done with a refresh, some of the showers had broken knobs. The only down side was there was 14 of us and only 9 sun beds!!
Miguel the manager even picked the phone up at 1am in the morning when we were having difficulty getting into the villa.
Some previous reviews had said security could have been better, but we found security fantastic with locked gates, Windows and bars on all windows
Would definitely use this villa again

Villa is located 2 mins from the main strip so great for large groups as ours was. Bit too loud for families I would suggest personally.

Villa was spacious and with all the necessities for the duration of the stay.

Pool was fantastic.

Sadly the area struggles with burglaries by locals who target the tourist Villas and we were in fact burgled but the safe was in tact thankfully. This is a problem for the area not this villa specifically so just be aware and security conscious.

Also there is no main bin outside to store rubbish so it ended up being neatly piled in the compound which isn't best.

In summary for a stag/hen weekend perfect, families and couples perhaps a bit to close to town.
