A Lovely Holiday Villa on the Island of Gozo with own private swimming pool.
Overview
This three bedroom villa is located on the outskirts of Qala. All bedrooms have ensuite shower/bathrooms with the fourth bathroom being a jacuzzi. Fully equipped kitchen is next to dining area which is combined with lounger area. Both seat six adults plus children. The lounge area overlooks the pool area. The swimming pool is a figure of eight overflow type whose deck has sun loungers for sunbathing and ample space for a fully equipped barbeque.
Cooling and heating of the bedrooms is via a coin operated pay per use airconditioning system. Coin box is located in the kitchen area.
Groceries and Restaurants
The villa though located at the outskirts is just a five minute walk to mini market, butcher shop, stationers, pharmacy etc. One of the restaurants is just a minute walk away with spectacular views of the Gozo channel with Comino tucked in between. Qala has also other restaurants within a five minute walk, all offering local Mediterranean cuisine from fresh fish to pasta and pizza. Within a twenty minute drive a vast range of restaurants can also be found. For guests wishing to do their own cooking apart from the Groceries/mini markets local vegetable and fish mongers visit the vila vicinity itself.
Going round Gozo and Beaches
Though Qala has its own pebbly peach which is really nice with Comino just across the bay, Ramla l Hamra Gozo's largest sandy beach is just a fifteen minute drive away. For those looking to either start subacqua diving or to continue enhancing their capabilities, PADI affiliated subacqua diving school literally dot the Island. On the other hand if you want to relax and unwind whilst mixing with the locals, Gozo is the place, from end of April to the end of September each town and village has its own Patron Saint Festa with much merry making and good food plus fireworks!

A family party of 5. We had a wonderful time in the villa. It is a traditional stone built place with lots of character.

The quailty of the villa was excellent and far exceeded our expectations. We are seasoned villa renters, but this has top slot in our estimations.
The villa is well appointed and very clean.
Raymond, the villa owner could not have been more helpful, he provided a welcome pack and lots of useful information. We could not have met a more kind and thoughtful person.
We will definitely go back to Gozo and to Raymond's villa.

Hi, my name is Raymond Attard, we have had ta Kolina and ta Mananni for these past 23 years. Our love affair with Gozo started very early 1990s when we started getting away from it all just Sundays. Though we live on the mainland and just a 25 minute ferry crossing away, Gozo is very different, characterwise, smaller too. Late 1998 we did Ta Mananni and early 2000 we did Ta Kolina. We keep both in traditional Gozitan stonework style, where the globigerina limestone is not painted over, just pointed with traditional arches in the sitting dining area of ta Mananni being recycled from earlier buildings. Ta Kolina was also done this way, with the main building area dating from the early 1900s. Since then Gozo has come a long way with more culinary variety still mainly mediterranean but we do have also cuisines from other countries now too. All in all, it is still a getway from it all!
