Receiving well-deserved attention of the wine-lovers from all over the world, the area boasts famous vines (Barolo, Barbaresco), fine cuisine, lyrical landscapes and Alba white truffels mecca.
Spreading over two floors and 140 square meters (1506 square feet) our apartment features a remarkable fusion of nature, relaxation and deep insight into local traditions & gastronomy.
The apartment has a great balcony.
It benefits from a large outdoor terrace with panoramic views over the green countryside.

THE SPACE
Warm and welcoming, the apartment is divided into two floors. The ground floor has one bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, a dining area and a bathroom.
On the second floor, you will find two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a balcony featuring panoramic countryside views.

GUEST ACCESS
It's all yours! You will have access to the whole apartment, the garden shared with the apartment next door and a large private terrace.

3 BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1: Delightful ground floor bedroom has a queen size bed (190x165 cm), an armoire, bedside cabinets and an armchair. Soft colours and calm atmosphere round up the conveniences of this sleeping option.
Bedroom 2: First floor main bedroom with a double bed (195x170 cm) has an en-suite bathroom, vanity or a working desk, two bedside cabinets, an armchair and access to the long balcony. Traditions embodied in this brick build house reflect in the room ambiance adding to the rural charm and providing a good night sleep.
Bedroom 3: Located on the first floor, the third bedroom mirrors the style of the whole house. Double bed (195x170 cm) can be arranged as two twin beds should you prefer such set up. The room benefits from a large wardrobe closet, an armchair, a vanity table or a working desk, two bedside cabinets, en-suite bathroom, plenty of natural light and an access to the long balcony.

Total 3 tiled bathrooms are found in the house.
The first bathroom with shower is located on the ground floor.
Two en-suite bathrooms are located on the first floor. Both practical options with shower, bidet, towels and toiletries included in the rental.

KITCHEN
If you decide to roll up your sleeves, the Italian way, and master some of the culinary options of the local flavours, a fully equipped kitchen is here to support the efforts. Dishwasher, stove, oven, toaster, kettle, pots, pans and at least 3 ways to make your coffee in a spacious, practical kitchen adjoined with the living room to keep an eye on your family or friends. Rice, pasta, sauce and condiments are provided to get you started on your Italian culinary journey.
Compact dining furniture for 10 people and all the cutlery you can imagine are included.
The washing machine is conveniently located in the kitchen.

LIVING ROOM
Sitting right next to the generous windows with the views on the countryside, the living room is classic, cosy space; whether you prefer contemplating the sights before you, start the fireplace or chat with your family and friends.
Open space with dining room and kitchen so you can easily navigate through the area.

GARDEN
Feel the freedom of rural living on the garden area. Hills and vineyards extend to over 1000 m2 for all outdoors enthusiasts, wine & nature lovers to explore.
The spacious garden is shared with the apartment next door.

Stone walls keep the place rather cool in the summer and keep the heat in the winter.

If you need more room or this property is already booked please contact us about renting our smaller house in the hamlet called Ca der Forn (the Bread Oven House).
Your host also lives in the hamlet and on request will supply in your accommodation a delicious breakfast consisting of homemade cakes and jams prepared using old and genuine recipes.
In the grounds of Cascina Bricchetto you will find a covered area for eating al fresco, a covered parking area and various toys for the children e.g. swings, sandpit, rocking horse, skittles. From the house you can take many quiet country walks along the small country lanes.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
The house is nestled in a peaceful and quiet area surrounded by vineyards, hills and meadows, an ideal location for all seeking serenity as well as all outdoors enthusiasts who will enjoy connecting the puzzles of the awesome countryside scene.
Only a few kilometers away you can discover the historical towns of Asti (renowned for the September Palio), Alba ( a medieval town full of towers and arcades, famous for the truffle fairs in October), Bra ( home to the Slow Food movement) and Cherasco; not forgetting the various wine castles of Barolo, Grinzane Cavour, Magliano Alfieri, Govone etc.
The beautiful city of Turin, which is full of museums, ancient buildings and historic cafes, is located about 70 km away and can be reached by train from the railway station of Asti.
The sea and the coast of Liguria are about 100 km.
The area is excellent for activities such as hiking, horse riding, tennis, golf, swimming, visits to museums and concerts. In the summer the area is alive with local festivals based on food and wine. The area is renowned for its food – specialties include truffles, chocolate, hazelnuts. Visits to local wineries or to small producers of cheese, salami or sweet delicacies can be arranged on request.
