My friends and I stayed in this wonderful house for a week last summer. The place is very quiet and it is located in a nice little village, Silvignano. Very nice interior, comfy but stylish as well. Great bedrooms, perfect bathrooms and a lot of space for relaxing. We stayed in the summer, so we had a chance to enjoy the garden, the terraces and the swimming pool, stunning. The house was fully furnished and really clean, the local coordinator, Bianca, is a fantastic help. We had a wonderful time!

The most beautiful location and getaway. Felt an immediate sense of peace, calm and comfort as I arrived. Stunning views, the ideal escape from the world. Local restaurants just a short drive away. Picturesque (but somewhat challenging) running routes all around, perfect holiday exercise. Would highly recommend a visit, you’ll be looked after for sure!

We were looking for somewhere quiet, private and calming to escape the rigours of life in a busy city and I could not have chosen a better location than this. Nestled up in the hills, the house was very thoughtfully done out, the sense of peace almost tangible - and sitting in the pool looking out over the rolling Umbrian hills was a daily treat I shan’t forget in a hurry. The house is ideally located for numerous excursions by car, and having the lovely Bianca on hand (the locally based House Manager) to deal with requests such as restaurant bookings etc was a massive plus.

After many years of visiting Umbria and falling in love with its unique charm, we were finally drawn to buying a house here. Each visit left us more enchanted by the blend of sophistication and rustic allure. The locals are wonderful—welcoming and deeply passionate about their culture, traditions, food, and wine. The village itself has a distinctive character, and the views are consistently breathtaking. Umbria, often referred to as the "Green Heart of Italy," is renowned for its stunning landscapes, rich history, and culinary delights. This region is a paradise for food and wine enthusiasts. With its rolling hills dotted with vineyards and olive groves, Umbria produces some of Italy's finest wines, including the world-renowned Sagrantino di Montefalco and Orvieto Classico. The local cuisine is equally impressive, featuring hearty dishes like truffle pasta, wild boar, and porchetta, all enhanced by the region's exceptional olive oil. Traveling through Umbria offers a diverse range of activities. History buffs will appreciate exploring ancient Etruscan sites, medieval towns, and Renaissance art in cities like Perugia and Assisi. Nature lovers can enjoy hiking and cycling through the verdant Umbrian countryside, with its rolling hills, lush forests, and tranquil lakes. For a truly unique experience, try truffle hunting with a local expert, or enjoy a wine tasting tour at one of the many picturesque vineyards. We visit as often as we can, enjoying the unique rewards of each season. Every trip, we check off a must-do place or experience, but our list keeps growing as we discover new restaurants, wineries, and hidden gems. We've made wonderful friends here, both permanent residents and fellow travelers, all sharing a love for everything Umbrian. We hope you'll fall in love with this place as we have. We've provided a selection of places and experiences we've enjoyed, as well as those still on our to-do list. We'd love to hear your feedback and any new discoveries you make during your stay. Casa Ventinove is a much-treasured family home, and we hope that its comfort and ambiance reflect that. We want you to feel at home, settle into the slow rhythm of life in Silvignano, and embrace the change of pace during your stay. Enjoy the local wines, savor the exquisite cuisine, and immerse yourself in the activities and culture that make Umbria so special.
