Superb typical Puglia accommodation, very well located between Ostuni and Cisternino. The house is very clean and the host is precise in every detail. I recommend a stay in this place, for us it was a really nice holiday immersed in the Itria Valley. Very satisfying experience. Esperienza molto soddisfacente.

Beautiful villa/Trulli in a beautiful scenic setting Located away from the main road on hill overlooking the Contrada This villa is very tranquil, clean and well equipped. The owners Wendy and Louis send you lots of information from how to get there in a very detailed instructions, to everything the villa has. It is well equipped and your looked after by Bob and a Helga from Belgium who look after the place when the owners are not around. Nothing was too much trouble and Louis contacted us to make sure we had no complaints. A personal touch. There is detailed information of nearby area of fabulous Ostuni and surrounding places, to beaches to explore, supermarkets and restaurants. My husband and I are building a Trullo not far from here and having to work while we sorted out our own business Casa Mandorlina suited our needs, with WIFI and comfortable accommodation that meant after a hard day we could relax. Listening to the sounds of the countryside and people in other villas enjoying their evenings this is a lovely place to stay. You will feel right at home the moment you are here and I highly recommend staying. A car is a must and go explore. Thanks Wendy and a Louis for letting us enjoy your 2nd home and being there when we needed questions answered.

Vielen herzlichen Dank fur diesen schonen Urlaub! Liebe Grusse an Alle. It was our - let me say - so far relaxing holiday! A beautiful place to "charge the battery". The accommodation in perfect and clean condition and - something we have never experienced before - everything is available. All you have to is pack the bathing suit and do not thinks about anything else! Very nice hosts, which have planned everything down to the smallest detail and made available, so that one lacks nothing and you feel right at home. A very nice and warm welcome from Francesco (person on the spot)) who is always there when you need him. We highly recommend this address !! And we are sure that we will come back;-) !!! Simply perfect for a family vacation to regain time and space for "family". Thankyou very much for this nice holiday! Greetings to all.

Great house, very nice and accommodating landlord! The house is in a great condition and super equipped, it is much nicer than in the photos. The manager was always reachable and very nice and helpful when he speaks only Italian. Nevertheless, one understood. The contact with the landlords was unique, although we at the booking for a day (we were a day too late) one day too late, we could extend our stay at this day without any costs. Thanks a lot for this! Tip: The beautiful ceramic dishes in the house can be bought in Grottaglie! We would definitely return, it was very nice in the Casa Mandorlina.

Wonderful place to relax and as a centre for beach and sightseeing. We had a lovely stay, comfortable and with everything we needed. Could sit in the shade under the veranda, sunbathe and then have a dip in the pool to cool off. Delightful sitting watching the sunset over the olive trees. In great position for visiting historic Italian towns with great sightseeing and food! Also easy to get to great beaches. Didn't want to come home!

26/3/13 "Beautiful setting for a relaxing holiday, ideal location, wonderful neighbours!" Casa Mandorlina is a cleverly converted building, offering very comfortable accommodation for six people. The location, a few miles from Ostuni, is quiet the house is surrounded by an open area with mature fig trees providing an excellent treat for breakfast, but it is not isolated and the neighbouring family is particularly friendly and helpful. Ostuni and the other small towns in the area are charming with plenty of shops and cafes. The villa owners can provide invaluable suggestions for really good restaurants offering traditional Puglian food. The kitchen area is small but functional and the villa is well-furnished with some lovely creative touches. There are a number of beaches a short drive from the villa. There is a really good pay beach adjacent to a nature reserve which was busy but not overcrowded even in high summer. We visited a number of the local towns and also more touristy areas like Alberobello, but we also really enjoyed sunbathing on the terraced flat roof of the villa, eating lazy lunches sitting on the veranda and we made good use of the small pool. We hope to stay again before too long.

3/12/13 "The perfect base to explore this stunning area" Having holidayed in other parts of Italy before we were keen to discover a new area. Casa Mandorlina proved to be the perfect base for this. Location wise, we felt secluded enough to really relax, surrounded by olive and almond trees (the kids particularly enjoyed collecting figs from a nearby tree), yet were only a short drive to Ostuni - a gem of a city that really comes alive from 9pm. With beautiful architecture, great restaurants and a local market on Saturdays thats not to be missed. We were also well placed to explore the rest of the sites of Puglia and managed to find a good balance between exploring the nearby towns (for us) and the lovely nearby beaches (for the kids!). The villa itself is bristling with character yet well renovated equipped with everything you could think of to make your stay enjoyable. I was initially concerned that the living area would be too small but it was absolutely fine for our family of four. On top of that we spent most of our time on the very generous sized terrace while the kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool which, although was fairly small, was perfect for cooling down. Our days were spent exploring in the mornings and chilling out/cooling down in the afternoons - bliss! The owners, Wendy & Louis, went to great lengths to make our stay comfortable, with masses of great local advice. The welcome pack was very appreciated - as was the cold prosecco in the fridge on our arrival! It was also nice to know Francesco, who looks after the villa and pool, was just a few minutes away if we need anything. All in all a wonderful family holiday and we hope to return soon. One word of advice though: hire a car and make sure you get excess waiver insurance from a third party - roads are narrow! A £16 insurance saved us over £200.

25/1/14 "Peaceful spot, excellent accommodation, good restaurants abound!" Good flight with Ryanair to/from Bari/Brindisi, car hire at airport very convenient. Route supplied from airport to the villa where everything was spotless. Accommodation was excellent, good showers, hot water and cooking facilities. We enjoyed the pool and the surrounding garden. Plenty of places to visit within easy driving distance, and lots of good shopping close by. Definitely on our agenda for a further visit.
