Villino Cortona

cannot fault this place at all. It’s beautiful! Michele has thought of everything in order to make your stay as good as it can be. Including leaving fresh produce, wines, pasta, general groceries etc every morning on the table outside ! A very friendly, kind and generous man. The location is lovely , with stunning views of the the Tuscan countryside. Would definitely go back ! Highly recommended!

Michele ist bei weitem der beste Gastgeber, welchen wir kennenlernen durften. Die Villa, das Grundstück und der Pool sind absolut top. Grundstück ist umzäunt und ideal für unsere Hunde. Die Villa hat allen Komfort und es fehlt an nichts. Idealer Ort für Spaziergänge und Ausgangspunkt für Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder Ferien bei Michele machen. Vielen Dank!

We spend two wonderful weeks in Il Villino di Cortona with our two dogs . This year we visit Michele for the fourth time and everything was excellent like always . We want to say that we are grateful for your hospitality and for everything what you do for your guests . We have already booked for two years so I want to say : see you next year Michele !!!Grazie mille !!!🇮🇹😊🐾🐾

Questa per noi è stata la terza vacanza consecutiva nel Villino di Cortona. Una piacevole conferma. La gentilezza,cordialità, attenzione e discrezione di Michele, le "forniture" mattutine di ogni prelibatezza, ci hanno fatto veramente sentire a casa nostra. Consigliamo a tutti almeno una vacanza al Villino!!

De locatie was geweldig. Onze gastheer Michelle, heeft veel informatie gegeven over restaurants, wellnes verblijven en wijnproeflocaties. Hij verrastte ons ook twee maal met een goed gevulde boodschappenmand!! Het zwembad en omgeving waren zeer goed onderhouden.

Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza meravigliosa nel Villino di Michele e Gina . La casa e’ dotata di ogni confort non manca assolutamente nulla la pulizia e’ accuratissima , il giardino e la piscina favolose , utilissimo il barbecue . Oltre alla bellezza del luogo , alla posizione strategica per raggiungere le più belle località della zona , da segnalare la generosità dei proprietari che ci hanno fatto trovare dei pacchi dono con ogni genere di specialità : vini , dolci , pasta , sughi , marmellate , miele , limoncello,…. Michele è molto simpatico ed ospitale e ci ha coperto di attenzioni....il villino,dotato di tutti I confort,è splendido per 2 coppie nella tranquilla campagna di Cortona ma in posizione strategica per raggiungere tantissimi luoghi di interesse...molto ben arredato e con un bellissimo giardino con piscina esclusiva...Peccato esserci stati solo 3 giorni, ma sicuramente ci torneremo.

Wij hebben weer prachtig vakantie gehad . Wij en onze twee boxers hebben ontzettend genoten van mooie huis en gezellig sfeer . Alles is gewoon top in Il Villino di Cortona . Wij waren derde keer bij Michele huis geweest en hebben meteen voor komende twee jaar geboekt . Wij kunnen niet wachten , tot volgende jaar . Bedankt voor alles Michele !!!

Wir sind schon das zweite Mal hier und es ist nicht das letzte Mal. Das Haus, die Ausstattung, die Umgebung. - kurz gesagt ich liebe es. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt und ruhig. Und ob top Michele ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Vermieter und hilft einem bei jeglichen Anliegen. Danke für die tollen Ferien

Siamo due coppie di amici, e per il secondo anno consecutivo abbiamo soggiornato per 15 gg al Villino di Cortona. Seppur già preparati, la gentilezza e la professionalità di Michele e della sua signora ci hanno nuovamente e piacevolmente colpiti. Struttura pulitissima, confortevole e organizzata in ogni dettaglio! Accolti come in un albergo a 5 stelle! Che dire dell'assistenza di Michele? Ogni due mattine ci faceva trovare sul tavolo del portico un vassoio pieno di leccornie per le nostre colazioni e i nostri pranzi: pasta, dolci, vino, liquori, verdure dell'orto a km zero e uova di giornata, sughi, bevande e marmellate, miele e biscotti! Al ns risveglio si trovava la piscina pulita e il giardino in ordine! Ci siamo sempre chiesti se Michele soffrisse di insonnia! Non lo abbiamo quasi mai visto durante il soggiorno, ma la sua presenza era sempre attiva...e fattiva. Anche con i suoi consigli pratici per gite nei dintorni e suggerimenti su ristoranti e pizzerie .... Un difetto, però lo abbiamo trovato: per soggiornare al Villino bisogna prenotare con largo anticipo! A fine vacanza era nostra intenzione riprenotare per la prossima estate, ma è già tutto al completo!! Abbiamo prenotato per l'estate 2024!! Ma aspettare vale la pena. Consigliatissimo! Summary An absolutely amazing small villa, brilliant generously-sized pool, wonderful situation with a most generous and friendly host Michele. You will not regret booking, it offers excellent value for money and we would be going back next year except it is so popular it is already booked. Points of Note The communal living space (lounge/dining room/kitchen) is cosy/intimate aka fairly small. Don’t anticipate whipping up any 5 course banquets for yourself. If you intend on eating out at restaurants a lot or dining on simple fare al fresco then this doesn't matter. The villa is close (200m or less) to the nearby dual carriageway autostrada thus inevitably there is some road noise. This didn’t bother us that much, however if you are looking for absolute peace and tranquillity just be aware that when you sit outside you can hear (and from certain spots by the pool see) fast traffic almost all the time. The Great Bits (of which there are many) Actually almost too many to note. The bedrooms are generous especially the master. The grounds of the villa are lovely, so well-kept, the best I’ve seen in a rental property. From the electric gates, to the car port for shade, to the solarium and covered outdoor eating areas, with BBQ, games area, on to the absolutely fabulous pool with recliners and steamer chairs and umbrellas everywhere for shade etc etc it is wonderful and maintained to the highest standards. There is also an ample supply of inflatables/toys for the pool, so don’t bother bringing your own. The villa has a great situation sitting surprisingly high above the surrounding countryside and thus commanding some lovely views to the distance including Montepulciano. Although not crazy hot when we stayed first week in June, the air conditioning in each living space works really well and is very discrete, which was a real bonus. From start to finish Michele is a wonderful host, we were amazed by a constant stream of gifts and supplies that would appear magically on various mornings courtesy of our Food Fairy!! And also the magic pool that seemed to clean itself very early each morning – or maybe that was Michele too, whatever he’s great. Hey it’s Tuscany, what's not to love.

Unser Aufenthalt hat unsere Vorstellungen mehr als übertroffen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, alles war ordentlich und sauber und Michele der Vermieter hat uns oft mit kleinen Leckereien und Unternehmungsideen überrascht. Wir hatten das ganze Grundstück für uns und mussten uns um nichts sorgen.
