Villa Alexia, Zakynthos, Greece

The perfect Villa. I can highly recommend this Villa for any family wanting to stay in Zante. Location is perfect for everything, provided you have a car.
But then why would you not explore this beautiful island when visiting?
Beautifully presented, lovely staff and had everything we could want. Wifi for the kids, lovely pool cleaned multiple times a week.
I very much hope we can return next year.

Had a great time staying in this villa. The location is very good for the type of property it is. AV'S or a hired car is definitely recommended. Facilities were great and the house was very clean and resourceful upon arrival

We have just got back from Villa Alexia, which was lovely. The villa was clean and spacious. The pool was cleaned three times a week.
It had everything you needed and was in a lovely location Hills and Airport runway in the distance. Simone came to check everything was ok the day after we arrived. Very helpfull lady !
We arranged for a welcome pack which was ideal as we arrived early evening. We used the local supermarket which was about 15 mins walk away, but they were very helpfull and run us back with our groceries. It was too far to walk into Kalamaki and Laganas, but the taxis were brilliant, they arrived in minutes and were about 8 euros which we thought was a very good price. To go to Zaknthos town was 13 euros.
We had a lovely peacefull stay, missing it already !!!

Lovely villa well equipped. I would advise hiring a car or bikes as there aren't any amenities in walking distance only a small shop. Myself and husband are fast walkers and it took a good 30 mins to get to the nearest restaurant. If you don't like the 'firm' beds upstairs the sofa beds downstairs are fine.

We had a fabulous fortnights holiday at Villa Alexia in August 2011. The villa was spacious and comfortable and suited us and our two girls (aged 15 and 12) perfectly. The villa is in a very quiet and rural location even though it is advertised as Laganas. There is a small shop In Agrillia within 10 minutes walk for essentiais (advertised as a supermarket) but a car is recommended to get the most out of your holiday. Lidl is rubbish! The best large supermarket is the Spar on the road to the water park (10 mins drive). Water park was great. Beaches good. We were surprised how close the villa was to the airport however the noise from the occasional take off and landing was not intrusive. The managment company were attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed - in fact the one or two items that we felt were missing were provided while we were there. The BBQ was brilliant and we used in several times otherwise Kalamaki was good for a choice of restaurants and Tavernas - taxi there from the small taxi rank at the shop in Agrillia. (8 Euros) Alternatively there were 2 tavernas in the village (on main road) provided good Greek food for takeaway.
