Spacious and fully equipped is overlooking the Ionian Sea on the beautiful northern coast of Corfu. Ideal for one or more families who are holidaying together but want to retain their privacy as well.

Overview

Regina Rossa is hidden at a secluded low hill overlooking the sea on the northern coast of Corfu about 950 meters away from it. It is situated just outside a traditional small Corfiot village and close enough to summer resorts such as Acharavi, Roda, Kassiopi and Sidari. The property is build by the owners for private use with great attention to detail, in complete harmony with the landscape and the traditional Corfiot color scheme. The villa consists of two semi detached accommodations. The main one is a maisonette of 200 sq.m. in three levels. It can host up to 8 people in 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, spacious living room, large kitchen with dining table and two big verandas for enjoying eating and seating outside close to the swimming pool. The second one is used solely for bigger groups and can bring the total capacity of the villa to 14 people. It is 120sq.m and has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus indoor and outdoor seating and dining areas offering privacy if and when is required. The two accommodations are connected (communicating verandas etc) and form a large one.

The nearest resort Acharavi is a busy and lively resort set on the North coast of Corfu, boasting something for everyone. It is not just a family resort, it is the center of the North of the island and many of the local people visit Acharavi on a regular basis as there is a post office, banks, a dentist and doctors and all the facilities found in a modern place. Acharavi has plenty of Tavernas and bars, and an excellent, long, sandy beach. Behind the resort and Sfakera village, in the Pantokrator mountain are set in the hills excellent walking paths. There are also several picturesque mountain villages including Petaleia, Ano Peritheia and Lafki. At the western edge of the municipality is the Antinioti Lagoon.
Little streets run off the road down to the beach, where you will find many of the beach Tavernas and bars. The next resort Roda shares also the 5 km long sandy beach of Acharavi and has a wide choice of Greek, English and Italian restaurants as well as all kind of shops. On the long beach you can find all kind of water sports and activities for all kind of interests. Just in 15 minutes driving you can find the famous “canale d’amour” in Sidari village from one side towards Italy and Kassiopi with a picturesque small port from the other side towards the mainland.

Large Group from London, United Kingdom Jun 2014

Regina Rossa exceeded our expectations, an absolutely beautiful Villa in a very pretty place. We had a fantastic time as a large group of friends and the landlord was very friendly and accommodating.

The only feedback I have is that we felt that we were never truly alone, the landlord is often around the grounds and a member of our party who was staying in one of the lower rooms could hear the landlord and cleaning staff coming and leaving frequently. She felt she had no privacy. We were also disappointed that the pool was out of use twice during a 5 day stay. This only affected us on one occasion when we arrived back from a day out and wanted to use the pool in the afternoon/early evening and we were told that it had cleaning chemicals in it but would be ok for the following day. The second time it was fine as it was overnight so I would recommend telling guests on arrival of the days the cleaning needs to happen and arranging suitable evenings in advance.

Apart from this we would highly recommend a holiday here, we all enjoyed our stay and think that the Villa is superb. We would consider returning!

Great! Left on Aug 30, 2017 for a stay in Aug 2017 Our our 3-generation family group of 14 had a very happy week at Villa Regina Rossa . It accommodated us all very comfortably and we spent many happy hours in the lovely pool, overlooking beautiful scenery. There was plenty of room for all of us to relax and run around . We enjoyed our family meals around the table on the terrace, including barbecues and the delightful lady who came to clean brought us an abundance of fresh eggs from her chickens and delicious home-grown tomatoes. Stamatis was very welcoming and was on hand whenever we had any queries. We would have loved to have stayed another week...or two or three ! A stunning villa with beautiful pool and views in a superb peaceful location yet close to the ocean, shops, restaurants Left on Jul 25, 2017 for a stay in Jun 2017 Regina Rossa was a real find! A truly exception villa situated in a quiet location with stunning views of the ocean. It was spacious both inside and out even for our large family group of 16 and was spotlessly clean with crisp white linen and even pool towels provided! The infinity pool was large and crystal clear without smelling of chemicals and had the best view imaginable! Stamatis, our host was the best host I have ever encountered. He even had arranged champagne in the fridge and flowers in the bedrooms for our two honeymoon couples! Nothing was too much trouble and his advice on eating out, boat hire and tennis courts was spot on. He even arranged for a fishing friend to supply us with fresh fish to the villa! There was also included in the price a maid who came almost every day which was amazing. She was really sweet and did a fantastic job of tidying up after us! Although you probably won't want to leave the villa at all, it is well situated to explore the coast and villages and not too far from Old Corfu Town which is well worth a visit. We have always made a rule never to return to the same place twice but this may well be our very first exception! Fully recommended! Simply AMAZING!!! Left on Jun 26, 2017 for a stay in Jun 2017 We stayed at the villa for a week with 10 of our family and friends and I cannot say anything negative about the villa. The owner Stamatis is a true gent and could not have been more helpful, he even offered to help us when my mother in law was taken ill during our stay. He was friendly, warm and genuinely a pleasure to deal with. The villa itself is beautiful, it overlooks a stunning vista of the sea and is a mere 15 mins walk to the centre of Roda or a 5 min drive to Acharavi. The sunsets from the villa are awesome and the beauty of the local wildlife that you can see only adds to the beauty of the place. If you are looking for a class place to stay then this is the one, I cannot thank Stamatis enough for the unforgettable time we had at Villa Regina Rossa. 10/10 This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Nice quiet house, high standard 5 of 5 We had rented two houses and had a total of 12 people there. Communication with the homeowner (Stamatis) went super, he took care of in advance to accommodate our needs. The transfer from / to the airport, rent a car, even a first purchase for the first evening was very well organized. The house itself was as described on the internet, no actually it's actually a lot more beautiful and comfortable. The equipment is very good, it is all more than sufficient number available. For everyday purchases a vehicle is required. But one has but of course, the advantages of a house with no direct neighbors. All in all a great stay which we would like to extend. Love thanks again to Stamatis + Team Review Submitted: September 20, 2016 Date of Stay: May 2016 ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden. Lieben Dank nochmal an Stamatis + Team Review Submitted: Sep 20, 2016 Date of Stay: Sep 2016 Source: Fewo Direkt, from HomeAway

“Fantastic Villa that excels at quality, service and location. Recommended.” 5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 days ago for a stay in August 2016 In August 2016 14 family members aged 5 to 75 stayed for 11 nights at Regina Rossa and had a wonderful time. We loved the look of the villa from the photo's, in reality the villa and the view are better than the photo's convey. The views from the poolside are excellent, in the pool it was lovely to bob about with views of Albania and the ionian sea; that mental image is one that we are delighted to possess. The villa is split into two parts, each having the capability to be separate from each other if needed, however the villa works as a whole which was what we wanted. The larger part in which 8 of us slept is very well appointed. The kitchen appliances are all Meile brand, utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery are high quality and plentiful. We love cooking and so we cooked every night including using the BBQ 3 times. The other part slept 6 and had another dining area and ktichen. Whilst fully appointed with dishwasher, large fridge, hob, etc it was of a lower standard, whilst completely acceptable the other kitchen is definitely the main one. The owner Stamatis made us very welcome and was very attentive to our needs without being overbearing. The maid service from Athena was 5-days a week and very thorough indeed. We didn't share a common language however Athena brought tomatoes, figs and cake in from home to share with us and helped us make a proper Moussaka! Driving to the villa is up a a short and rather steep track, you get used to it but you do need a bit of confidence. In fact that can be said for a lot of the island itself, many roads are small and steep sided on Corfu. You can drive to the beach at Roda in less than 5 mins, parking there is easy and free. On a couple of days a few of us walked to the beach, only taking 20 mins at a leisurely pace. Coming back it was lovely to see the villa splendidly presented on the hillside, it has a very commanding position and seen from the road it is most impressive. As a group, the 14 of us have stayed at a dozen other villas across Europe. We all agree that Regina Rossa was one of the nicest. It comes strongly recommended.

“Most relaxing holiday ever...” 5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2015 for a stay in August 2015 Twelve people from three generations of our family spent a perfect two weeks at Villa Regina Rossa. The views from the terrace and pool are idyllic and there is enough space to spread out and relax from hectic London life. The owner attended to our every need and recommended non-tourist restaurants that we loved. Happy to recommend to anyone in search of a detox holiday. Cathy Little and family.

“Great villa with amazing view” 5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2014 for a stay in September 2014 This villa is a great place to spend holiday with big famili or group of friends. We stayed at Villa Regina Rossa for a week. It is big, modern, and very comfortable. You can feel like in your own home. The villa is equipped with high quality devices. there is a lot of space outside. The villa was well maintained with daily cleaning included in the rental. The owner,Stamatis, is an perfect host and gave us some excellent recommendations and was accessible during our whole stay. Furthermore, he gave us some local products (e.g. including fresh eggs) what made the stay even nicer. We felt very welcome. It was a great week. We highly recommend this place.

"You hit the jackpot with Villa Regina Rosa" With villa Regina Rosa we definitely hit the jackpot. The house is amazing (much better than most hotels in Greece to be honest). Best three things: the seemingly endless space –seven bedrooms, two huge living rooms, and lots of porch and balcony space the magnificent view over the shore and near Albania one of the best kitchens I've ever seen. Given those things, the swimming pool and garden almost fade in the background. And as if the gorgeous house isn't enough, the service and help provided are also top-notch – its a great balance between less service than a hotel so you can feel homely, and enough not to worry about much of anything on your vacation. There are some issues with the location of the house – It is very noticeable from afar but not so easy to find when you are close, especially given Sfakeras winding (if I am to be loose with the word) streets. Also, the price for the view is a street to the yard gate that would make most normal cars shudder, and made me feel like climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, when I braved it on foot. Those things are very easily solved, with a first visit and a good car. Otherwise the location is great, because its 5 minutes by car from the beach and the two coastal villages, while being much more secluded and peaceful. All in all, the place is great and I highly recommend it to anyone whose heart is set on Corfu. If you are bringing a large party that is a much better place than any hotel and can make your holiday special.

Magical Villa with stunning view” 5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2014 for a stay in July 2014 We stayed at Villa Regina Rossa for a week and it has been a gret place where to work and same time relax. We all were surprised with the view and how the Villa was well maintained and regularly clean everyday. It is located in a quite spot where you can feel calm and peaceful coming from everywhere. A car is highly recommended eventhough the beach and town are only 2 km away. The Villa is the same as it looks in the picture althought the mattress size of the two kidrooms is a bit small for adults. It is better if you book the entire Villa. The owner Stamatis was great, friendly and present in giving reccomendations. We have spent a magical great week that helped us in improving our work. We would happily go back for a nice relaxing long week and we highly recommended to other people. THANK YOU STAMATIS

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2014 for a stay in July 2014 Villa Regina Rossa is the perfect villa. We spent ten days in July/August this year, nine adults and three children and there was plenty of space for everyone. The villa consists of a main house and adjoining guest house, a lovely large infinity pool looking North towards the strait the separates Corfu from Albania and the view is stunning. It's in the Northern part of Corfu about 45 minutes from Corfu Town and the airport by car, which is dotted with small villages on the coast and in the mountains, the nearest village is 1-2km away called Acharavi and there is everything you would need to provision yourself for a great stay in the villa. There are even some lively bars on the beachfront but they are not chaotic, just friendly, welcoming and good fun. We found the people of Corfu to be exceptionally friendly and helpful, I don't think we had a bad meal anywhere, lot's of fresh fish and local lamb dishes, reasonably priced and almost every place had great, cheap and tasty young, locally produced wines. Kasiopi is a beautiful harbour nearby and I had the best octopus I have ever eaten! Plemty of boats to hire for day trips which is an awseome way to see to coast. There are loads of beaches, some busier than others but locals and tourists mixed although some are a bit "bucket and spade" but all great for kids. The true highpoint was the Villa though and we spent most of our time here. It's big, modern, really comfortable, lots of little outside spaces with nice couches or seats where you can get some quiet time and a lovely area where we all sat for evening meals together. The owner, Stamatis, built the house as a family house, his family house really, and it really feels like a home from home. It's stylish, modern, comfortable and the photos don't really do it justice. The kitchen in the main house is brilliantly equipped and you can pretty much prepare and serve anything you like in it. The guest house also has a kitchen and living area so it's possible to do your own thing in a bigger group as well. Stamatis is an exceptional host and gave us some excellent recommendations for beaches, restaurants in Corfu Town (well worth a night or two, wonderful atmosphere, great restaurants, bars, shopping and amazing Mediterranean feel). If there is anything you need Stamatis is usually on hand to assist. He has an office in the garage underneath the villa so is often around on the property so is available to assist. He made us feel very welcome and it was great to have local knowledge. I really enjoyed Stamatis company. If we go back to Corfu I would re-book this villa in a heartbeat! Top class - Thanks Stamatis!! :)

"A real gem of a villa, built to the very highest international standards, yet offered at very reasonable rate" We have just returned from two fantastic, faultless weeks staying at Villa Regina Rossa with our large 2-family party of twelve (4 adults, 6 teenagers, and 2 children). There was ample space for everyone to really relax and enjoy the fabulous pool, and the uninterrupted views of the Adriatic and the dramatic Albanian coast line. The villa is situated about 2-3 km back the coast in a raised position amongst the olive grove farms. Stamatis (the owner) went out of his way to make us welcome, and to look after our every need & request - in fact the level of support we received from Stamatis during our stay far exceeded what we have experienced from other managed villas costing over twice as much per week. For example, when we asked for driving directions to the villa, rather than send us an email, Stamatis drove to the airport, met us off the plane, and then personally escorted us back to the villa ! Not to mention the freshly picked figs, and hand made marmalade that his onsite staff brought us most mornings...a real delight to have such personal touches. The Villa is ideally positioned to get to the higher end restaurants in Kassiopi (20 mins) and Corfu (45 mins), as well as being only 5 mins by car from the local town of Acharavi with its many traditional style restaurants. We also cooked in many evenings, and the excellent kitchen facilities make catering for a large group very straight forward. Strongly recommend this villa without hesitation. "Lovely villa in a great location" What a lovely villa, positioned a few km away from the coast with lovely surroundings and great facilities. We enjoyed the lovely infinity style pool, table tennis, BBQ, sun beds, great kitchen, wifi during our 5 day stay and had a brilliant time. The owner was friendly and personal in giving us recommendations and local treats from his family. The villa was clean and well maintained with daily/regular cleaning included in the rental while there was tons of kitchen equipment for a large group of people to enjoy big meals together. The beach and town are only 2/3km away and offer a good selec tion of shops and restaurants. Having a car is recommended as there are plenty of sites nearby (within 20-30mins drive) for nicer/secluded beaches and a good supermarket run is difficult (even though only 3km away). Would happily go back for a nice relaxing long weekend or longer trip.
