If you are looking for a tranquil and quite holiday's on Rhodes Island this is the property to book and stay.
Los Olivos Estate, a 5000sqm property, is cliff located 80m above sea level, next to the 14th century Kritinia Castle on the west coast of Rhodes island. Overlooking seven islands including Halki and surrounded by rich local natural scenery, the property offers both stunning views and absolute privacy to its guests. A lush, flowering 100sqm central patio allows direct access by a covered pathway to a well-equipped kitchen, living room and all five bedrooms. An outdoor dining area with BBQ and brick oven, adjoins the kitchen. The master bedroom has a typical Dodecanese raised bed, plus an upstairs sitting space with a huge window overlooking both sea, sunsets and property grounds. It is glass-door connected to the very attractive infinity swimming pool and is the focal point of the property. Pleasant and simple interior mixed style decor is mostly in blue and white tones. Two bedrooms have own en-suite with bathtub, remaining two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. Each room has own outdoor terrace space. Renowned Rhodes island with its outstanding historical past and monuments, many beaches and abundant natural environment, has long been a favorite for visitors the world over. Los Olivos Estate's peaceful setting, allows guests to enjoy all these special elements and an exceptional getaway experience.

To reach the beach under the estate it's only advise for sportive persons as you have to walk down the cliff path way. Otherwise the nearest beach is 15 min.drive away
By car, the villa is located 40 minutes away from the airport, 5 min from the center of Kritinia village, . If you enjoy sea sports the nearest beach (15 minutes’ drive) has kite surfing and jet skis for rent, while the island of Rhodes is full of wonderful beaches for every taste.

Our extended family enjoyed a great week at Villa Los Olivos. The pool and the views were amazing and the layout of the property was so well thought out. Everyone had their own space and there were plenty of areas to sit out in the shade.
The beds were comfy, great air conditioning and mosquito nets (although we didn't really have any issues with mosquitos all week). The kitchen was really well equipped and it was great to be able to drink filtered water straight from the tap rather than having to buy bottled water. One thing to be aware of is that there are loads of wasps (which live in the rocks) at dawn and dusk. Every evening just as we were sitting down for dinner we were bombarded! By 8:30 they have all gone.
There were a few inflatables at the villa for us to use as well as padda bat for the beach.
We ventured down to the beach at the bottom of the mountain behind the villa - we are glad that we went to see what it was like but were happy not to go back as it was very pebbly and not that clean - although there was a lovely big tree on the beach for shade. We went to a great Taverna recommended to us by the owner in Embona. We did the day trip to Halki and ventured over to the east coast to Tsampiki beach (amazing and not a pebble in sight - perfect for the children). Otherwise days were spend around the pool enjoying some lovely home cooked food. We did pop down to the beach next to Jonny's Taverna - it was perfect at the start and end of the day as the crowds had gone and you could get a (free) sunbed. its another pebbly beach but the water is lovely and you can watch people jump off the rocks/cliffs into.
We would love to return - it was a perfect villa for a family holiday and nice to be away from the touristy areas of the island (mainly on the East coast)
